The Kumi Pods are like the inns of usual cities. The pod feels soft to the touch and with a few taps they open. They are large enough to hold three people in it. Each is fitted with a bed that is strangely shaped like an oblong leaf and other amenities such as a standard bathroom, a chest of drawers, etc. There is a sweet aroma that fills the air, this is from the kumi plants themselves.

Sabal comes into the room, heaving a sigh. That had been torturous to his head but it seemed like everything worked out so far. Now to pop up from day to day and perform menial tasks to get her to drop her guard. Going through one of his bags, he finds the pouch with the mirror connected to the crystal that was now in Kora's possession. Giving it a look, he saw she was still at the palace. Figuring she'd be there a while, Sabal put the mirror away and took a nap.

Waking up, Sabal ran his fingers through his hair as he checked the mirror again. "Still at the palace? Does she ever leave there?" he said to himself as he dug his brush out of his bag. Getting all the tangles out, he decided to head to the cafe for something to eat.

Mirror in hand, Sabal growled. It seemed the woman never leaved the palace. This was going to be harder than he thought. BUt he had set himself to this. Switching into something more suited to the personality he showed her, he decided to wait until evening to go visit her again at the palace.

He stopped the mirror's image flickering. Watching, he saw her move from the normal palace into her bedchamber. And also feed one of those plants. Looked like sneaking in wasn't an option. He rather liked his flesh intact and not some plant's food. Stepping out, he picked up a small, shabby looking bouquet of flowers for Kora before heading back to the palace.

Sabal's hands shook as he locked the door behind himself. Have to breathe. Remain calm. You didn't see the little monster. I'm going to go find someone... I will smite this city in a single blast... I am Pride, and so I am God... repeated in his head. Sabal shook his head violently and hunkered down on the bed, shaking as he fought to regain control over himself.

What the hell was wrong with him? Slapping himself, he unlocked the door of his room. This was bullshit. Who was he to run scared? HE faced down death already. Why should this be any different. Stepping out, Sabal walked back to the palace.

Snuggling against Cain, Liliana drifted in and out of sleep. "I like nappy time idea," she mumbled as Aura crawled out to sit on a pillow. Her feet, covered in the dirt from walking on the ground, wiggled as she moved to be more comfortable.

Liliana brushed away the jacket. She was tired but she was fidgety. "Cain, something's going on. I can't explain it but I can't relax." She got up and paced around the room. "I'm exhausted but I can't stay still. There's something in the air and it can't tell me. There's something walking the ground but it stands silent. There's something touching the water and doesn't babble. It's maddening to be in an area with so much life and there be almost no sound from the elements."

She held onto Cain's arms as though it could bring what was missing back. Getting out of Cain's arms, she stripped and changed clothes. "We need to get moving again. I can't stand the silence. Now when I looked for Srin, he was at the cafe here in the city." She gathered up her umbrella again and a small pouch with a fraction of the gold on hand. "Ready?"
