Special Notes about Drawing Sierra: Sierra should always be drawn as an ELF. She should always have her tail, and her minis or the NM headband <3 Her eyes are gold, with black eyeliner and her hair is BLOOD red. She is pale skinned and her hair is ankle length. Gold eyes. <3

Special Notes about Drawing Chibbit & Jess: Chibbit is a were cheetah and her ears/tail should be drawn and coloured accordingly. Her eyes are amber and she should always have her face markings. Jess is a kitsune and should be drawn with her face markings. BOTH should have their anthro ears and never be drawn with the gaia item: 'Doll ears' or the default 'human' ears.

Name: Sierra'est'a'ra'lian

Race: Elf-Demon

Eyes: One of the elf maiden's most striking features are her strange eyes. Crystal bright, they shine a piercing and luminous gold. They hold both caring and warmth and a calming serenity eminates from them... but some who are sensatve to the emotions of others, can detect hints of a great and hidden sorrow. When Sierra turns to a more serious side of things, her gaze is feral-like in characteristic. The black pupils narrowing into cat-like slits. When she summons magic to her or embraces her oni spirit however, the eyes become more beast-like still... and finally they unfocus entirely into drowning pools of raging, golden flame. Like molten metal they are as bright as liquid gold, no traces of her pupil's at all, they emit an eerie golden glow.

Hair: The elf-maid's hair is straight as an arrow and falls to her ankles in a shimmering cascade of crimson. The red of her silken hair is so pure and rich in colour that when light gleams off the glistening lengths, you would swear that each strand was spun from the most perfect and brightly polished of rubies. Often when she moves, her tends to give off the illusion that the air around her is bleeding, for it looks alarmingly like freshly spilt blood. Sierra tends to wear her hair down, with just the sides taken back in delicate braids, ribbons of black and gold often intertwined. Rarely will she wear her hair up, but when she enters battle, it is always bound up in a long streaming banner of a pony tail. As well... when Sierra is transformed into her oni being, her hair is streaked with the black of void and darkness.

Skin: Sierra's skin is the paleness of silvery moonlight. Her milky complextion is a startling contrast to her dark robes and the blood red of her hair. It's as if she was sculpted deliactely of alabaster or of flawless white marble, often she seems almost translucent and ghostly in appearance.

Wings: Sierra has four black feathered wings, the upper set being larger and the bottom one's being smaller. She uses her wings as both a tool of flight and an offensive/defensive device.
Upper-Wing Span: 9ft.
Lower-Wing Span: 7ft - 7.5ft


Tail: Sierra's tail tends to think independantly from her, but when they fight they flow together in perfect sync. Her tail also acts as a snare and snakes out to wrap aroound limbs... but the tip her tail is hard and sharp as any blade making it twice as dangerous... but to make it even more formidable... Sierra will sometimes adorn a 'tail spine'. Custom made tail armour with serated spikey blades running down the plates. Sierra's tail is named 'Adema' and when Adema isn't playing rear guard in combat, She likes tormenting people and her favourite past time is stealing people's hats. She has a natural knack for getting Sierra into all kinds of trouble.

Clothing: Sierra typically wears silk and satin or cotton weave kimono's that leave her shoulders bare and flash a decent glimpse of cleavage. She wears darker colours mostly, black with red and gold patterns and trim are most common for her. She will also wear typically elven styled gowns still keeping in her personal colours. She is not unknown to wear Elegant Gothic Lolita styles either as she has a weakness for Lace and Leather, topped by mesh and fishnet... Some of her outfits are very risque.

Jewellery: Sierra, as most elve's are... is fond of elaborate ornamentation and refinery. It's not that she's a vain individual, but that she takes delight in fine pieces and their beauty, viewing it as an art form. She usually wears gold circlets, celtic bracelets, rings necklaces and bangles... as well as uniquely crafted earings.



NOTES: Drawing Sierra's wings in proportion to their actual size might be too difficult, feel free to draw them smaller. Her tail can/should be drawn without the tail spine <3 For her gown, I'm thinking closer to the second example with reversed colours and gold trim. For jewellery, what I provided is sufficient with the exception of earrings. She has 4 piercings in her lobe and one near the upper end of her ear in the cartlidge. For that one she wears a cuff and in the lobe she usually wears one to two dangly/celtic earrings with the rest as small gold hoops.

OTHER: If you can, She could be holding a ball of golden flame <3

Eyes: Shin has the slightly slanted and almond shaped eyes typically attributed to an elf. His lashes are thick and a raven dark as his hair. His pupil is an orb of polished obsidian, ringed by duel shades of green. The ring that surrounds the pupil is of a deep and dark emerald. The second ring is of a much brighter emerald, the kind of green that shines like a polished gem. Finally the iris is encircled by a last, thin lining of darkness that makes his eyes just 'pop'.

Skin: His skin is slightly dark for one who is descended of the High elves, this is due to his mixed blood. Half wood elf, his skin is just very lightly bronzed.

Hair: Straight as an arrow, it cascades over his shoulders and back in long lengths of silken ebony. Shin's hair varies between trims... He never lets it get past knee length... But he doesn't like it much shorter than his waist. When the light hits it, sometimes the green hues of his clothing will be reflected in the tints and highlights of his hair. The elves are a prideful race, and they are fond of ornementation. This is mostly true the High elves... Shin adopted their liking for long silken hair, it is a sign of nobility and of beauty. During ceremonies and formal occassions, glass beads and bits of crystal and gold as well as gems and silk ribbons, will be braided into his hair. His hair is often worn tied back, held by a leather throng.

Clothing: Shin is slightly vain about his phsyique and likes to wear form fitting tops that show off his well toned torso. Generally he wears a skin tight, tank top with a high collar. Sometimes he will don a fancy overcoat with fancy emroidering, but usually he prefers his cloak.
For pants, Shin wears soft, black leather breeches.
Overtop of that, He wears a lengthly sir-coat that parts at the center-front of the waist. It might look like skirt-like, but tease him and he won't care. The sir coat has a long flawless black flap that covers his groin and falls to his calves. The rest of the skirt-like garment is a faded, charcoal black. The hem is trimmed in elvish stitching, the beautiful pattern sewn with green. There is a shorter part to the garment that falls to just past his knees in a tappered point towards the front. This overlaying piece of material is of rich greens, that seem to change hue depending on how the light strikes it. The whole sir-coat is held in place by a detailed and tooled, black leather belt. Composed with a series of straps, it is accented and inlaid with emeralds.
Shin wears black leather gloves that reach to his elbow. The left glove is slightly fancier, and has extra leather dyed a forest green to match the rest of his trim. Black leather lacing travels further up his arm, crossing over his smooth flesh. His right glove however, is encased in a large, blackended steel bracer.
Over boots of black, Shin straps on greeves, crafted of the same blackened steel as his bracer.

Jewellery: Sometimes Shin will wear gold and emerald bangles about his upper arms, but usually only at formal occassions. His ears and neck are usually the only thing decorated, with the exception of his hair during ceremonies. His ears are usually ornamented with gold hoops and cuffs, while his neck is graced by an emerald pendant.

Personality: Shin tends to keep to himself for the most part. He has a guarded past that he shares with few... mostly because talking about it tends to betray certain feelings he'd rather keep hidden from the world. When he does interact with others though... he tends to be a bit of a cold p***k with other men. Get him around a lady though and butter would melt in his mouth. Shin has a high respect for women, something he learned a little too late... However, this late bloomer is quite chivalrous and has a way with words.

Name: The lady Arienh of Arianrhod ((Arienh means 'Oath' and Arianrhod is a celtic goddess. ))

Personality: Arienh's personality tends to shift to compensate for the company she's keeping. She can conduct herself with the graceful poise and calm demeanor, of a refined lady attending court... or she can be the outspoken, free-thinker that she really is. She be a witty one, so watch out for her sharp quips if you decide to challenge her too much. On a whole though, Arineh is very sociable. She tends to fall into the 'mother hen' role alot, always looking out for the well being of those around her. She is very in tune with the world about her and her relationship with nature and the pathenon of gods and goddesses that she serves are her life's focus. Sometimes... her psychic abilities will overwhelm her and at that point, she will withdraw from everything and everyone in a desperate attempt to clear her mind before losing herself to her abilities.

Appearance: A beauty of the Medieval era, she is one of the lady's that you might hear bards sing about.

Her eyes are likely her most striking feature... pupils dark as obsidian that seem to swallow the night & her irisis are a fireworks display of gold and green. Arienh's irises are two-toned. The inner circle of colour, a bright and luminous gold. This ring of almost metallic colour explodes into an outter ring of rich emerald, framed by the dark lace of her full lashes.

Her hair falls to her knees in a rich casacde of auburn. A little more brown than copper. The sides are usually taken back in braids, intertwined with silk ribbons and ornementation. Her bangs are usually kepts just out of her eyes by a simple gold circlet.

Her lips are full and sensuous, a deep crimson like that of a garnet, set into a delicate face that looks as if it were sculpted from flawless marble.

Arienh is usually dressed in medieval garb. She loves the fancy gowns of her time period, and while she finds pants practical, she rarely wears them. IF she must, she will wear a type of laced up slacks, with a loose gown overtop that still looks feminine, but does not impede her movements.

Occupation: Likely best described as a subclass of Druid, Arienh is an Ovate. The Ovates work with the processes of death and regeneration. They were the native healers of the Celts. They specialized in divination, conversing with the ancestors, and prophesizing the future.

Bio: Born the daughter of a noble during the middle ages, Arienh led a double life. An only child and the heir to her father's small kingdom... She was the dutiful daughter, beloved by the courts and sought by many a knight and young lord. While she did let many of her suitor's court her, she would often grow tired of their braun and narrowminded views they upheld. She was looking for someone to rule WITH, not someone to rule her. Much to her parent's distress she refused to marry...

Her grandmother on her mother's side had been the one who led her to the goddess Arianrhod. When she was 12, her grandmother died, but by then she had already had roughly 5 years of training in the ways of the Celts. Arienh felt a deeply rooted connection to her goddess and the other deities she served, she could not be deterred from her beliefs now. After the old woman passed on, Arienh missed her greatly... and while she still practiced what she had been taught... her progress seemed to dwindle. Thus an elder of Arianrhod was sent to claim the child. In secret, Arienh's new teacher schooled and trained her to be a gifted Ovate.

During this time, peace between pagans and christians had been unstable. Her father, a christan knight had forbidden the practice of 'heathen' magicks on his lands. When the Catholics outlawed paganism, Arienh was 17 and the young woman found herself in a horrible predicament. She would NOT give up her beliefs or the religion that she believed was her true calling.

By the protection of the night's shadows, she was concealed as she would sneak off to meet with her order. Noble Lady by Day, Outlawed Ovate by Night... Arienh lived in constant fear of being discovered. IF she was found out, she would be burned at the stake as a witch in order to redeem her soul... Many of her kind suffered this fate.

War broke out across the lands and her father's kingdom was no exception. Fearful that their ancestral line would be wiped out... Her father grew sick of his daughter's reluctance to marry. Her future was arranged for her and she was to be wed to a knight in two weeks time. The fact that Arienh despised her to be spouse only fueled the decision she made. For some time she had been contemplating fleeing. This new 'arrangement' was the last straw. 3 nights before the wedding... Arienh of Shalandre dissapeared on her way home from town. Thought to be bandits, or a wild animal... her body was never recovered.

After her 'death' and her escape from familliar lands... Arienh had the freedom to move about unrecognized. She adopted the name of her goddess in place of her family's... for her religion was all the family she needed.

It was dangerous for a lady to travel through war ravaged lands alone however, and Arienh found herself working as sort of mercenary, hiring out her skills as a healer.

About the goddess Arianrhod

ARIANRHOD

(Welsh) "Silver Wheel", "High Fruitful Mother", "Star Goddess", Sky Goddess; Virgin Goddess of reincarnation; Full Moon Goddess. Her palace was called Caer Arianrhod (Aurora Borealis) Keeper of the circling Silver Wheel of Stars; a symbol of time or karma. This wheel was also know as the Oar Wheel, a ship which carried dead warriors to the Moon land (Emania). Mother of Lleu Llaw Gyffes and Dylan by her brother Gwydion. Her original consort was Nwyvre (Sky or Firmament). Mother aspect of the Triple Goddess in Wales. Honored at the Full Moon. Beauty, fertility, reincarnation.

Arianrhod's name means 'silver circle'. This major Welsh Goddess is the Goddess of reincarnation, the Wheel of the Year, the full moon, fertility, an da primal figure of female power. Some Celtic scholars believe her story represents the shift from woman-centered clans to patriarchal power.

Her heavenly star/island, Caer Arianrhod in the Corona Borealis, is believed in some Welsh traditions to be the place where dead souls go to await reincarnation. There she lives with her female attendants presiding over the fates of the departed.

She is sometimes depicted as a weaver, which links her to lost creation myths and to magickal practice, sometimes called 'weaving a spell'.

Arianrhod mated freely with whomever she chose and was not questioned until the magician Math claimed she had conceived two children that she had not borne. By jumping a staff she gave birth to Llew and Dylan. Dylan left immediately to go to the sea. Arianrhod denied the remaining son, Llew, the right to bear a name or arms, as was a Welsh mother's right to bestow. She was later tricked into bestowing both.

She married her brother Gwyddion, and she is the daughter of the great Welsh Goddess, Don.

Arianrhod can be invoked to help females find their own feminine power. She can also assist you with spirit contact, sex and fertility magick, and past-life knowledge. Because her myths are linked with jumping the broom, an event which is part of Pagan marriage, she can be called upon to bless Handfasting rites.
