So I was sitting at my friends house.
About 10 minutes go by.
We hear her bird scream
& a loud thud.
We walk in there to witness
her baby skunk eating the bird.

I'm almost 100% sure it's not legal for her to have it.
We live in the boonies though, so no one cares.
xD
& Apparently they do.
I knew they ate meat but...
I thought they'd prefer what's already
made for them.

Out of all the wild life type animals you could have for pets I really wouldn't want one that could either maul and mame me for life or ******** stink up the place if it gets pissed. X.x
I use to work with someone who considered this coon a pet. They'd let it in their house and take pics with it but over all it still lived outside and explored about as well only to at times revisit their house.

I would not go into a house where they owned a pet skunk.

I think if I had scene that happening, a swift vomitting session would follow. I know animals eat and maul, but it's still not something I want to see.

Laws about skunks as pets vary from state to state. They can be predators when they want to or need to. We did used to think they were in the weasel family, after all. ^_~
You know... I wonder if they could bottle skunk spray instead of pepper spray. Then you could identify an attacker by scent as well as clawing at their eyes in agony.

I want a pet skunk but I didn't know they eat birds O_O
It is illegal in some places but in others it is fine. It just depends on where you live. You can also have their stink gland thing removed but after that you can't put them out into the wild if you get tired of them or anything.
