Adayanna was looking for her daddy. She hadn't seen him since that morning and that was far too long for the young female. She had already managed to bump into several adults, and making a slight annoyance of herself as she looked for her daddy. But sad to say, the little thing just couldn't find him. She was under a tree, pouting to herself with her ears flat against her skull. Her long tail was wrapped around her legs, and there was a slump in her shoulders. Adayanna was a little different from her siblings. She loved her daddy, and always wanted to be around him. Of course, that wasn't sensible. She had things to learn, and he had things to do. But that didn't stop her from searching for him, nor poking her nose everywhere to do so. It had become a regular thing, almost daily lately. Adayanna didn't like to be away from him, even more so lately. She sighed, and plopped on the ground. Where had he gotten off to?

In point of fact, Nima had been called out to go along with some others outside the pride lands for a while that morning. The demons had been stirring a bit more than usual lately - and a party had been sent to check it out.
Thankfully, nothing had happened, but there was more activity over there. Which meant they were perhaps planning something. But not today....
Padding back into the pride's lands, Nima just happened to go right by that tree where his daughter was sulking. Smiling faintly, the large white male peeled off from what was left of the group and headed for Adannaya. Where some fathers might be annoyed by a 'clingy' daughter, he was not. It made him feel wonderful that his children loved him, and especially that one loved him enough to look for him every day to spend time with.
"Good afternoon," he said mildly, smiling faintly.

Adayanna was really sulking under the tree. Her ears were still flattened, and her tail twitched from time to time as she glared at nothing in front of her. If she had different lips, her bottom one would have stuck out far past the top. She was completely lost in her own little sulking world.
"Good afternoon."
The voice snapped her out of her funk, and she looked up to find exactly what she had been looking for all day. Her daddy. She bounded up to her feet and jumped in a circle around him. Her ears were perked completely up as she smiled. Adayanna stopped once she had circled him once and sat down right in front of him so she could stare up at him with a happy face.
"Daddy!!! I couldn't find you. Did you have to go out again? You didn't get hurt did you? Was there anything cool out there?"
Adayanna loved her daddy, and was always worried about him getting hurt or various other things. She wriggled as she sat there though, her joy at finding her daddy apparent in every move she made.

Nima laughed softly and reached out with a paw to ruffle at the short fur on top of Adannaya's head. She didn't have any sort of longer hair there like his mane or a lioness' but the concept was still the same. "Yes, I had to go out with a party of others, but as you can see I'm not hurt," he said, getting up for a moment to turn in a little circle.
"We didn't see anything really 'cool' either, unless you count a lot of demons roaming about over there." He made a sort of face at that. "Something is going on, but no one knows what."
Shaking his head a bit, he smiled and asked, "What have you been doing all day long? Surely not focusing only on me?"

Adayanna looked carefully while her father turned around to show her that he didn't have any more marks to add to his original ones. Which of course was a good thing! The young hybrid looked away when he asked her about what she had been doing that day. Of course she had spent it focusing on him!! He was her daddy!!
"I looked all around for you, and lots of others said I was being silly and you'd be back soon enough. I tried to wait as long as I could, but I got lonely."
Once again, slightly sulking. Adayanna was good for sulking. She played up her part of daddy's little princess often and well. The tan little thing grinned up at her dad though shortly afterwards.
"I decided what I wanted to be when I grow up! I wanna be just like daddy!"

"Oooh?" Nima asked, raising his brows slightly. His job wasn't exactly the easiest, after all...
"Are you sure that you want to do that for you, and not only because it's what I do?" he asked softly, suddenly serious.

Adayanna thought abut it, her ears and tail twitched as she once again looked off the side. She was trying to be serious and adult like when it came to this choice, because it was one that would affect her adult life. Those blue eyes looked back up at her daddy, solemn for the moment.
"Yes. I couldn't just attack others. I'd have to try and talk first, and only do what I had to when talking wouldn't work. If all we ever did was attack instead of try and help them, it wouldn't solve the problems, would it?"
She was of course speaking on the demon tribe and what Purifiers did. They tried to help the demons, and only resorted to battle if they could not help them. Adayanna wanted to do that, she wanted to help the tribe the best way she could, and felt that she was up to the task.

Nima smiled at that, and looked his daughter over. She really was growing up... it was both a sad thing and a happy one at the same time.
"Then that's wonderful!" he replied, leaning forward to bump foreheads with her. "And you're right... it's always better to try and talk first. Sometimes they can be made to see that their way of life is wrong."

Adayanna grinned, and nuzzled into his head bump. She loved getting compliments from him and was always trying to do her best so she could get more and more!! She jumped onto her feet and bounced around him once more, having fun running in circles.
"Can we play?!"
She stopped at his side, crouching on the ground next to him. When Adayanna asked to play, it meant one of two things. Either she wanted to wrestle around, or she wanted to try and race him. Because he was bigger, with more muscles to him, he was faster than her at her size. Maybe when she grew up a little more, Adayanna might out race her daddy, but it was fun for her to try. She was never a bad sport when it came to playing games with him as she was just happy to be able to play games with him.

Nima laughed at that. He had some time now, since there was nothing he needed to do the rest of the day. And it was ... adorable, really, how Adayanna still loved to play at her age.
"All right... what would you like to play?" he asked, crouching down a little.

"RACE YOU TO THE OTHER TREE!!!!"
She needed no more encouragement from him beyond him asking what she wanted to play. Adayanna had chosen a tree not far from where they were, several yards to be sure, but nothing of a great distance. The reason being that the closer the target, and the more of a start she got, the better her chances to beat her daddy! Tricky she was.
Adayanna had of course launched herself while yelling, taking off at her full speed. Considering her track record though, he probably knew she would do something like that. She felt her heart race and laughed with glee at the top of her lungs as she ran without holding back.
She pretty much smacked into the tree a few seconds later, and began to look around to see if her father had made it there before her....

Indeed, Nima was used to her tricks by now - she had only beaten him once with a ploy like that. Almost as soon as she'd started yelling, he had taken off as well.
And longer legs allowed him to beat her to the tree. Panting softly, he looked down slightly at his daughter, smiling. "Hellooo... nice of you to join me over here," he teased. She was getting bigger, though. Soon it wouldn't be so easy.

Adayanna looked up to see her father already there! She grinned and growled playfully at him. Then her second favorite game came into play, the young hybrid launched herself at Nima, aiming to throw herself toward his back and play bite into his back. Nothing that would harm her daddy, but just to play around.
She began to try and climb onto his back and be silly like a cubbin again. Adayanna loved playing around with her dad like this. Soon enough she would be too old for such antics, and even if some thought she was too old now, Adayanna didn't care. She loved her daddy.
"You ALWAYS win!!! I'll beat you again someday dad!!!"

Nima growled as well and shook himself around - trying to dislodge her from his back. He loved the way that she still played like a cub at times like this. "Ow ow, hey!" he protested playfully - lying down and rolling about so she would let go.

His daughter giggled wildly as he shook, trying to hold on without digging her claws in too deep. She couldn't be shaken off though, and soon he flopped on the ground and started rolling around. She let go and hopped away before he could roll over her and continued to burst out in giggles.
"Now you're all dirty!!!"
She hopped on him, placing her front paws on his chest and grinning while her tail bounced around happily. The young hybrid would never think this got old, she just loved it.
"I'm not gunna let you up!!"
She play growled again, putting her weight on her front paws because she knew her dad could handle it. There was a big smile on her face, and those blue orbs she called eyes were sparkling with fun.
