Trecia was frolicking towards the video store. Tonight... tonight was a good night for a new movie! But what? She'd seen her whole collection about 500 times each. So time for a new one!
She made a bee line towards the horror films. Have it. Have it. Lame. Have it. Kid's movie. Have it. ... Wait, what's this? This... this treasure... It's... the 1972 version of Vampire Nightclub? SCORE!
She reached out and grabbed it...

"What a beautiful night's stroll~" Paige had become increasingly bored, wasting her time in books and school and- Thinking about it made her want to just hit herself over the head. Tonight, she needed something. Something to stir her out of the bleakness.
And like a sign form above, there it was; The video store! "Perfect!" She squealed and made a dash to the entrance to begin her search. But what to watch?
Boring. Boring. Hated it. Boring. Never in my life would I watch that again- Hey what's that? Vampire Nightclub? It shined and called to her. She had to have it. It was fate!
She reached out to grab it....
And a hand latched on to the other side. She looked up. She was too enthralled by the movie to notice the girl next to her, "Oh, excuse me." She smiled and batted her lashes slightly. she wasn't handing that movie over.

Trecia eyed the girl who dared to touch her movie. But she smiled faintly. "Lovely night for a movie, isn't it?" She asked, gently pulling the case towards her, hoping to coax the girl into letting go.

"I'd have to agree with you on that." She felt the girl pull the case in her direction. She wasn't giving up without a fight! Paige pulled it right back, maybe using a little too much force but a kind smile that didn't leave her lips. She really didn't want a fight on her hands.... Then again.... She had to have that movie.

Trecia kept smiling, pulling it back a little harder towards her. "So what kind of movies do you like?" she was trying to be nice, TRYING to not just yank the movie away and run.

"This one." She stated simply pulling the case back to herself. The smile fading from her face fast. She was NOT going to give this up. She grit her teeth, there was going to have to be an easy solution to this. "Maybe we can compromise?" That was the only way out of this. She wasn't just letting her go all willy-nilly when she obviously had her hand on it first. Ok, well... She wasn't sure but that wasn't the point.

"Sorry, but I'm not going to let go of this. I mean, come on, Greg Glaison is just the best horror director ever. Buuuuuuuuuut..." She kind of pulled it closer again. "If you want, you could always come over and watch it with me." She was hoping that the idea of going to a strangers house would scare her into letting go of the box.

"I knoooow." She whined a bit before the girl offered her to go to her house. Paige blinked. Was this some kind of trick? Better call her on her bluff. "Sure thing, then we could both watch it!" Her fingers were still firmly locked on the case.

"Alright. I'll pay for the movie, you buy some popcorn or chips or something, we can get some sodas too." She smirked. "You need to let your parents know or something?" Part of her felt a liiiiiiiiittle bad about this, seeing as the girl was... at least a bit younger then her. Probably still a student...
"You aren't allergic to cats, are you?" She asked suddenly. "Cause... mine is really friendly and loves people."

Paige eyed the girl for a good second. "I'll be ok, I don't need to tell anyone." Well, that was half the truth anyway. She was trusted, but her curfew was midnight, not that she wanted be over this stranger's house that long. "Well, I'm Paige. Paige Eistel. And you are?" She wanted to make sure she got her name before she let go of that movie.
"Cats?" She smiled, "I love cats."

She just eyed the girl a moment more before smiling, a real smile. "Trecia Sigrun. Pleasure to meet you." She gave a small incline of her head before asking. "What kind of soda do you want?" Well, at least this girl liked cats. That means her little purrbox of a cat wouldn't bother her too much.

Paige was taken aback by her smile. "Pleased to meet you too Trecia." She reluctantly let go of the movie, "No running off, ok?" She chuckled a little under her breath, "Any kind of soda will do. I hope you like the chips they have here." She jerked a thumb back to the front of the store, lined with last minute movie snack.
With an arm full of junk food, she paid and stood by the door. "I don't know the way to your house, so come on~" She urged her playfully.

Potato chips, nachos, spicy popcorn, gummy snacks, soda, and a kickass horror flick? Oh yeah, this was going to rock. She laughed a little as she walked beside Paige. "Yeah yeah, you wouldn't have had to wait for me if you'd let me pay first." She teased, leading the way back to her apartment. "But I guess this way you could have chased me down if I had tried running off with the movie, right?"
Trecia only lived a few blocks from the video store. The building she lived in looked like it might have been a motel at one time or something. She was on the second floor. As soon as the door was open, they were greeted with a "Mrow!" and something warm rubbing against their legs.

This was going to be so sweet! If she would have gotten the movie on her own, she wouldn't have had nearly enough to buy all the sugary and salty junk food they had. This night was actually turning out well.
Paige was in love at the sight of the feline. "Oh how cute!" She made dash for the kitchen to set the snack down so that she could give the cat a thorough greeting. Soon Trecia was bombarded with questions. "Oh! So cute! Is it a boy or girl? What's it's name?" She cooed and fussed over the cat all the way to the living room. Movie time~

Tre couldn't help but laugh. "That's Boxcar. Or... Boxy for short." She said of the white cat that was now purring quite loudly in Paige's arms. "He's a little boy. I've had him about 7 months now." Slipping out of her shoes she looked at the livingroom. "Feel free to make yourself at home." She grabbed a couple of colorful plastic bowls, and began filling them with the various goodies they'd gotten. She didn't bother with cups for the soda. They had 4 bottles, 2 of each flavor. So one bottle of each flavor for each of them. She brought over a bottle of each of the sodas and 2 bowls of snacks, then went back for the other snacks before opening up the film.
The walls of the livingroom were lined with DVDs, the majority of them being horror films. There were some classic movies and some animated films, a hand full of Anime too. But mostly, the shelves were horror films.
