Quint sat on the edge of the fountain with a small sigh. Somehow he had gotten all lost and turned around and it was rather annoying. A group of girls wandered past him all giggling and pointing at him, it only made him frown more and stare down at the ground between his feet. Seriously? Didn't the gaggle of girls have anything better to do than giggle and point at random people? Was he that much of a freak that they all had to point and laugh.
Augh he hated people sometimes. He wondered why Kay thought it was so great that he should deal with them. Whatever.
He gazed around himself and sighed. Quint was aware of his directions and where home was but trying to find a new place all together had somehow flustered him. Perhaps something was messing with him...

Olivia had shooed the three males out of the house after they continued to drive her up the wall. It wasn't the nicest weather out, so Tas had gotten them all onto a bus to head to the mall. Turned out the half-dragon loved shopping. Poor Kobi and Fred were dragged from store to store.
In between two stores, a large crowd walking the other way had allowed Fred to slip off unnoticed. Tas was paying more attention to sales than his children anyways. The skeletal dragon boy wandered around for a while before spotting a neat looking fountain in the distance. He headed towards it. It was neat looking and it was in the opposite direction of his parent. Double goodness!
As he got closer, Fred noticed a rather interesting look character sitting on the edge of the fountain. He had buckles and belts and all kinds of neat stuff! How cool!! Tail lashing about, the boy headed over for a closer look.

While Quint was angsting over his being a little lost he found that he had a small being approaching him. He blinked out of his thoughts and quietly stared down at the rather bone-structured...child? He tilted his head and stared at the individual with equal amounts of curiosity, "Uh, hey kid," Quint greeted the younger one somewhat awkwardly. The teen was never too sure how to deal with the fact that children were apparently approaching him with intent to interact with him.
It made him want to see if his brother was hiding somewhere and waiting to jump out to 'surprise' him with some sort of weird joke or some other little taunt that he really, really didn't want to deal with. Still he didn't tell the child to bugger off and waited to see if the paranoia he felt was true or false. Besides why take it out on a kid? He might as well punch the source directly if his suspicions were right.

Fred circled around Quint, peering curiously at the boy's attire and barely acknowledging the shark boy's comment with a grunt. He was way more interested in what the older boy was wearing. Fred wanted clothes like that!
After a few moments, Fred moved to sit on the edge of the fountain next to the older boy. Why hadn't his dad taken them into stores with this sort of clothes? It would've been a lot more fun and he wouldn't have wandered off...

He was a little amused at the boy's reply of a grunt. Okay, he could respect that, he had days where he barely spoke beyond a monosyllabic word or two and sometimes a grunt said it all. He watched as the skeletal looking figure sat next to him and didn't seem too bothered by it or the fact that it was now nearby. The boy certainly was very unique looking!
Quint paused a little as he stared at the boy and seemed to think a bit, "Where is your mom or dad?" might as well make sure the parent is somewhere nearby he didn't seem like he was going to cart the small boy off to their parent again but he'd like to know where to listen for concerned voices.
