Llujah clasped his hands together in sheer delight. It had been too long, far too long, since he had shopped at this particular mall. Most of the merchandise they had offered here were too big for the spawn when he came here last, but now that he had grown considerably, he could peruse as much as he wished. He had been given a few hundred dollars from Belinda to spend on whatever he so wished, so he was in hog heaven.
After browsing several stores and buying several pieces of clothing [as well as several pairs of shoes], Llu found himself in a familiar place: a fancy dress store, filled to the brim with dresses for every occasion. He pranced among the racks and isles, happy as a clam. His long tail twitched furiously and his wings were fluttering in his joy. Finally, he found a dress that caught his fancy. He claimed it from the rack and proceeded to the dressing room.
A few minutes were spent trying to decide which dressing room to go in until Llu reasoned that they must be for both genders. He occupied one and came out five minutes later, dress in hand. He made a beeline for the cash register and bought the dress. The bag swung back and forth in his hands as he paraded out of the store and through the mall, a large grin on his face. Greed spawns were so easy to please.

Bleez didn't usually go clothes shopping, Moira tended to make her clothes. But the two of them had gotten into an argument (which was common place anymore) and they both needed time away from each other. Moira had thrust money into her hand and told her to get out of the house for an hour or two. Whatever, Bleez was fine with that.
The Wrath spawn had managed to find her way to this particular mall. She'd see it once before when her and her mother were driving around one day. Good thing she was faster than most cars; she got here in no time just by running. The problem running everywhere posed, however, was that her pants constantly got tore up from the friction and wind created by her speed.
So here she was, window shopping at the moment, for clothes. She passed by a dress shop, and wouldn't take a second glance inside if it weren't for the fact that she spotted a spawn skipping out of the store out of the corner of her eye. It was awfully girlie looking, but Bleez figured any shopping companion was better than none. "'Ey!" she called after Llu.

Llujah stopped dead in his tracks and looked around, confused. What was that shout? After a moment's pause, he shrugged and continued on his merry way. Why would anyone be shouting for him? Not that he didn't like the attention, but... He didn't really know anyone here, so it didn't make sense. He spun around on his heel to advance on his grand treasure hunt when he looked over his shoulder to see exactly who uttered the cry. The only person that really stood out was a tall, multicolored... girl with torn up pants. Llu wavered a bit before deciding to go and talk to her.
He skipped over happily, unafraid, and stood in front of the girl, flicking his tail. "Were you the one who called out after me," he asked curiously. He smiled and laughed a bit, fluttering his wings. "Well, no matter! Even if you didn't, it's fun to make new friends, right?" Llu eyed the patches of multicolored skin on the girl, wondering how they came to be like that. "Anyway..." he continued, looking at the girl directly, "my name's Llujah! What's yours?"

It was a little annoying that she'd gotten what she thought was the cold shoulder from the spawn at first. But then he skipped so cheerfully over to her. Guess he just didn't realize it was her. Her ire died down as soon as he started talking. It was a he right? It dressed like a girl, but it sounded more like a boy. Ah, whatever, it didn't really matter to her either way. She was constantly called a boy, so assuming gender rolls weren't much her thing. Judging also wasn't her forte.
"Ah,yeah.that.was.me," she blurted in her usual manner, extremely quickly. Bleez took the spawn's appearance in, the thing that intrigued her most were the wings and that little halo thing. Was this spawn more angelic than herself? Even his name seemed to suggest it. "Name's.Bleez. I.see.yer.shoppin'" She motioned to the bag in Llu's hand. "I.hafta.get.some.new.pants,care.ta.join.me?" Bleez looked down to her shredded pants and bare feet then back to Llujah.

Llujah blinked. This person.... talked so fast! He could barely keep up with her words. He smiled and laughed awkwardly at her words, lifting his hand, which carried multiple shopping bags. "Yeah, I've been shopping all right! I love shopping! It's a ton of fun!" He giggled girlishly and swung his tail back and forth. "Nice to meet you, Bleez! That's kind of a weird name, but I like it! It's unique, like my name!" Llu took great pride in his name and it's individuality, so meeting someone with another individual name was almost in a way like meeting himself!... In an odd, not-even-close-to-being-similar way.
He fluttered his wings in surprise and happiness. "Of course I'll join you! I mean, I hardly know you, but I'll definitely help you out! You look like you could use some new pants for sure..." Llu placed a hand on his hip and clasped his chin with the other in a thinking pose. He snapped his fingers and nodded. "You could really use some skirts too, but that's only if you like them. I prefer skirts over pants, myself, but that's just me." He shrugged, then looked back to Bleez and grinned. "Shall we go, then?"

Weird name? Well, she supposed it was. She had never really thought about it until Llu said it was odd. But then what was a "normal" name? All her friends had unique names, in her opinion. Her tail twitched back and forth, curling and uncurling on itself.
She shrugged, stuffing her hands in her pockets. "Ya.don'.hafta. Just.thought.it'd.be.nice.ta.share.time.with.someone." She wasn't saying it like she was apologizing for her suggestion, but more matter-of-factly.
The Wrath spawn was taken aback when Llu gave her a look over and started suggesting clothing items. She was just here for some pants! She visibly cringed, though, when he mentioned a skirt. "Ah.er.skirts.really.ain't.my.thing."
Tilting her head to the side, she quirked an eyebrow up. "I.kinda.thought.boys.wore.kilts.not.skirts." She was remembering her mother's brothers that lived over in Ireland and how they always wore the traditional Irish garment.

Llujah smiled and flicked his tail. "Oh, it's no trouble! I was getting kind of lonely being all by myself anyway!" He could recognize that what Bleez said was true: he really didn't have to accompany her. But no matter what, Llu was always up for making new friends, and now was a golden opportunity.
Llu noticed the cringe that Bleez made when he mentioned skirts. His tail twitched and his wings flapped quickly for a split second, making several feathers fall from his left wing. "Um... Okay... No skirts, then." Llu tried to stay level faced, but he was irritated. Why did she not like skirts? It made no sense! After all, Llu could think of several skirts that he owned that would look perfect on Bleez! However... It could not be helped. Bleez was entitled to her own opinion. Besides, she looked to be an angry kind of spawn. Llu didn't want to make her mad.
Llu glanced at Bleez and smiled, twirling his skirt. "I guess, but I like wearing skirts and dresses! A lot of people think it's weird and some people make fun of me for it, but I don't care. Skirts are more comfortable for me, and that's what counts, right?" The Greed spawn tilted his head for an answer from Bleez.

"That's.what.I.say!" Bleez's face lit up for the first time. "Comfort.is.what.it's.all.about. Who.cares.if.a.girl.wears."boy".clothes.or.whatever!" Now that she was enthused, she started talking with her hands... and talking faster, if that were possible.
"But.let's.stop.wasting.time!" The now chipper Wrath spawn linked arms with the Greed spawn and pretty much pulled him into a run. "So.where.to.first? You.seem.to.know.all.the.good.stores!"

Llujah's face lit up as well when Bleez expressed her happiness at Llu's realization. She understood, too! "Yeah, yeah, yeah! It doesn't matter what other people think! A boy can wear girl skirts and a girl can wear boy pants if they want! As long as their comfortable and happy, that's all that counts!" Llu felt like prancing around in his joy. He clasped his hands together happily. "I am so relieved and happy that you understand what I'm talking about!"
In his great burst of joy, Llu did not notice his arm being linked with Bleez's, and when they set off running, the Greed spawn practically fell flat on his face. He struggled to keep his feet moving as he raced along with Bleez leading the way. His surroundings were almost a blur: he could barely see any of the stores! Trying to think quickly, he pointed over to a large shop on the left. "Th-there! There! T-they have a bunch of pants in there!"

Bleez came to an abrupt halt, Llujah nearly swinging on her arm as she did so. Not noticing, Bleez looked at the store. It sure as heck didn't seem special at all, just looked like another store to her.
Releasing Llu's arm, she dug in her pocket for the money her mother'd given her. She pulled out a shamrock-shaped coinpurse and opened it, reaching in. Her hand emerged with a wad of crumpled up bills, some ones, but mostly bigger bills. It looked like neither had even seen the amount of money that'd been exchanged.
Bleez seemed genuinely confused. Since she'd never gone shopping for clothes, she had no idea if this mass of money was enough to get her anything good or not. "Um, do.ya.think.this.will.be.enough.to.get.be.at.least.one.good.pair.of.pants.that.won;t.shred.like.these?" She motioned down to the ones she was wearing.

As Bleez screeched to a halt, thanks to the law of momentum, Llujah went flying forward and almost smacked headlong into her. He stood up straight, clinging to Bleez's arm and holding his head. He felt dizzy from all of the sudden movement, and as he looked in a full body mirror displayed at the entrance of the store, he found to his dismay that his long, pink hair had become tangled. He looked quite disheveled, and that upset Llu, but he tried not to focus on his own looks. Right now, it was time to focus on Bleez's!
Llu looked down to examine the shredded pair of pants that Bleez wore. They certainly looked a sight with all of the tears and rips that it displayed. Llu stood up and saw the money the Bleez had... Wow. She had a bunch. Llu knew that he had about two-hundred dollars left, give or take, so between them... It was a lot. Llu grinned. "Oh, that'll be more than enough! Come on!" Llu grabbed Bleez's more humanoid hand and began exploring through the store.
"What I think would be best for you would be a pair of warm-up or workout pants. Something athletic, 'cause that seems to be your thing. So, I suppose that the first place we could look would be in the athletic department!" With that, Llu led his friend over to the sporty section of the store, filled with all sorts of highly durable pieces of clothing. "Look around and find something you like!"

This time it was Bleez's turned to be hauled off, but she didn't mind. In fact, she smiled at Llu's cheerful drive to find her some clothes.
As she began to look around, something began to nag at the back of her mind. Every girl she'd seen in the mall that was around a guy she assumed was their boyfriend, she noticed the girl was always dressed like a girl. The boys were dressed like boys, but that really didn't matter. The boy she liked dressed like a boy...
The Wrath spawn had been "looking" through a rack of athletic shorts that'd been marked on sale when this little thought had popped in her head. She'd actually been staring at the same [obviously too big] bright yellow pair that said "Juicy" across the butt during the whole thing. She just now noticed. Embarrassed, she swallowed hard and continued looking else where.
Even though she didn't know Llu very well, she had a feeling that Llu knew fashion. She had a urge to ask, if given free reign, what would he suggest her to wear in order to look cute for a certain boy she knew.

Llu paid no heed to the other teenagers that were present at the mall and in the store. He could feel a dozen curious stares peering at the boy in feminine clothing and the girl in athletic clothing. He did not care, though. At least, he tried not to let it get to him. He was different: he knew that. He didn't give a rat's a** what other people thought of him. As long as they didn't get all in his face about it, everyone would be happy.
The Greed spawn watched as his friend browsed the racks. He looked around himself, trying to find anything that wouldn't tear easily and would look good on Bleez. Finally, he hit gold: a pair of black triathlon shorts with a small teal and blue flame design on the right leg. Llu's eyes lit up and he snagged the pair of shorts and ran over to Bleez. "Hey, hey Bleez! I found a really cute pair of shorts!"

Bleez was a little preoccupied, thought wise, when Llu called out that he'd found her a pair of shorts. She plodded over, something obviously bothering her. "Those.look.good," she tried to fake that she was fine. She did like them, but she couldn't get this nagging thought out of her mind. Her eyes kept darting around and her tail twitched nervously from side to side.
She felt like she needed to ask Llujah to give her pointers on what guys liked, but that would be rude! She barely knew the spawn! And everyone had different tastes, so his tastes might not match those of her crush's. In either case, however, this dilemma was causing problems for her focus.

Llujah handed the shorts to Bleez happily, eager for her approval. When she gave it, the Greed spawn felt like there was something wrong. He looked over the shorts, trying to see if there was anything wrong with them that he could find. He could hear a twinge of apprehension in Bleez's voice as she spoke and he looked to his friend worryingly. "I-is there something wrong with them?" He gave the shorts a once-over again. "Perhaps they are too small... They look a little snug." He pondered to himself, then looked back to Bleez. He tried to give a reassuring smile.
"What's wrong? Is something bothering you?" He placed the shorts on a nearby rack and placed a hand on his hip. His tail swished from side to side. "If there's something that's bugging you, you can go ahead and tell me about it, 'kay? I know that we're still kind of strangers..." He chuckled and smiled. "...But strangers can sometimes give the best unbiased opinions!"
