It leads directly to an open air room that has a polished wooden floor that lacks it's south wall, which is instead replaced by a railing. This gives way to a magnificent view of the forest atop Sōkyoku Hill off to the left, and directly in front is a splendid view of all of the Seireitei from her quarters to the South Gate. This room, along with the rest of her quarters, is consistently maintained so that it is free from dirt and irregularities. On the West end of the open-air room is a kotatsu where Yuki can be found, usually in the afternoon doing paperwork, writing, spending time with her brother, and on the not-so-rare occasion, sleeping.
On the North wall of this room, but closer to the entrance is a pair of sliding doors that lead into Yuki's main living quarters. To the right is a set of bookshelves that are filled with medical books which are remnants of her time as 4th Division Captain. Next to these shelves is Yuki's work desk where she stores all important documents in the locked filing cabinet that is built in. Above this desk is a window that opens up to a view of the Senzaikyū. Just ahead is her living room with seating accommodations for up to six people, though only comfortable arrangements for four. To the left of the sliding doors is the dining area, with a table for seating arrangements for four, though the bar at the kitchen adds an extra three seats. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, dual sink, and an industrial-grade dish washer that finishes a cycle in under three minutes. On the west wall of the kitchen is a window that opens up to a grand view of the entire West side of the Seireitei and up to the West Gate.
To the left of the living room is a pocket door that leads to the washer and dryer room which then leads into the guest bathroom behind it. To the right of the washer dryer room is Yuki's bedroom which is vastly different from the rest of her living quarters. Stepping into this room is almost like stepping into an entirely different building and as such the door is s**t tight. The walls are painted light blue, the moulding in white, and the abundance on stuffed animals and cute things is an overwhelming contrast to the tough exterior she exhibits during battle. The East wall is lined with bookshelves containing reading material that mainly comes from the human world. These include philosophical works, cook books, fictional novels, autobiographies and manga. Atop these shelves are many stuffed animals that have been meticulously arranged there. Set into the South wall of this room is a set of two closets. Though they seem small at first, they are actually walk-in, connected closets with a ton of space. It is here that Yuki keeps her uniform, leisure clothes from the human world, and various personal items that are too large to fit in her bedside table. On the West wall is a pocket door that leads into the master bathroom that is equipped with a dual sink, toilet, large bathtub that triples as a hot tub, and a closet for towels, linens, and various medical supplies. Wedged between the West and North is her queen-sized bed which has silk sheets and various stuffed animals arranged neatly on top. At the top of her bed is a large window with a great view of the Northern half of the Seireitei including the North Gate. Next to her bed is a dresser with a lamp, a picture of Hei and Tsukiko, and the latest book that she is reading on the top, and below is a small drawer that she keeps her smaller personal items. At the foot of her bed is a large ornate wooden trunk that is used to store her jewelry and various candies. Above this, attached to the West wall is a Single Sword Wall Mount where she keeps Rei when she has returned to her Quarters.

The trip to get to her quarters was a short one, not because she was so fast, but because she had already been quite close to it. She only needed to hop onto Sōkyoku Hill, Shunpo to the other end, then leap toward the 1st Division building and break the Kyōmon she had left along the South side of the open air room before entering it. Appearing solidly above the polished wooden floor, she startled the safety inspector with her sudden appearance, causing him to drop his clipboard and pen. She paid him very little attention and in because of this, he quickly finished his job, bowed to her, and then whisked himself downstairs to the lower floors of the building with a sub-par Shunpo.
In the meantime, Yuki had stepped past the threshold, entered her quarters, and began fixing herself bowl of Ramen. One wouldn't normally think that the leader of a military and eldest child of a Noble family would be eating such cheap food, but the fact remained that Yuki had not always lived the so-called "good life" and she had been quite fond of this dish when she and Hei had lived on their own. After leaving Rei on the single sword wall mount on the West wall of her bedroom, Yuki changed into leisure clothes, specifically a white tank top and small pair of red shorts, then left to retrieve her food before venturing out into the open-air room and sliding the doors shut behind her. Stepping lightly over to the railing, she ran her hand across the lacquered white wood and breathed a sigh as she looked towards the South Gate of the large, circular shiro that surrounded the bustling city. Wind blew through her dark hair that had been let down now that she could relax. Yuki had calmed herself in the interim, and could now think with a clear head.
It was clear that Zenos had become stronger after dying, and Kyo was now blooded. It would only be a matter of time before whispers of a "night terror" reached her ears. It didn't take much for gossip to spread in this court, and only one person need witness a vampiric Kyo before half the Seireitei knew for a "fact" by the next morning that there was a monster on the loose. And the ungodly hours of it at that; why such news couldn't wait a few hours later to be told to her was a mystery. Before being a Captain, 5:00 am was a thing of legend; at least it was to the pampered Yuki who was never even woken up by Hei that early. Nonetheless, she would hear of it all by morning, and she was not looking forward to hear information she already knew.
Pushing thoughts of Zenos away for now, Yuki lazily waved her hand towards the railing as she turned away, casting a Kyōmon upon it so that she wouldn't have any unwanted visitors from this direction. After she had slid under the kotatsu and began eating, the most important thoughts she had were able to surface; those of Hei. A slack grin appeared on her face as it truly hit her that he was alive again, something that she could not be happy about. Now she somewhat felt bad about chastising her brother for saving her, since he was only looking out for his big sister and meant no harm by it. She's just have to apologize later, but for now she didn't intend to go looking for him since she was both quite stressed and also figured he was busy with something, especially now that Tsukiko had left to the labs with vampire's blood. Such a thing was going to be a field day for him, so she expected to not see him for several hours, if not a few days.
As she thought, she had eaten the noodles and fixings and was now mindlessly poking at the broth with her chopsticks as she stared off into space with her head propped up on her left hand. Yuki had not used nearly enough power to put her in a near death state, or even exhaust her, but with everything that had happened today, she was plain tired of being awake and being bothered by anything and everything. A warm breeze blew by and the comfortable state it induced in her caused her to slide her eyes shut and regulate her breathing. Her pokes into the liquid had slowed to crawl, then stopped altogether, and eventually she released the tools and let them fall with a light clatter to the table. Now with nothing left to keep the girl awake, she finally dozed off. 500 ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ Hakase Hei ◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." As Hei scaled the outer walls of the 1st Division's Headquarters much like a spider might, he was quietly mumbling Shōhi's release command to himself before the mist-like cloud poured out of the saya on his hip. Steathily, he reached the floor he was aiming for; Yuki's quarters. Mentally he directed the Seigenshi to attack and reduce the Kyōmon to Reishi just as he was creeping up to it. As soon as this obstacle was out of the way, Hei crawled into the room, scaled the rest of the wall, then began to crawl along the length of the ceiling until he was directly above Yuki's Kotatsu. Releasing the Reishi that held him to the slick surface and sealing Shōhi, Hei dropped down onto the Kotatsu like a cat, not even making it budge an inch as he came in contact with it.
Hei entered a crouch almost immediately, resting his forearms on his knees and balancing precariously with the top of Yuki's head being in his direct line of sight due to it being an angle. For a second he was dead silent, then he spoke. "I am sorry for undermining you earlier. I always feel the need to protect you, you know that. No, that's just an excuse. I apologize fully." He stated plainly in the calm tones he usually spoke in when dealing with Yuki. He waited a minute in total nervous silence before he noticed she was sleeping, something that irritated him for some unknown reason. He extended his right hand and in one swift move, grabbed her wrist to support her head, jumped an inch off the table, then smacked it to the side with his left hand, causing it to slide across the polished floor. Landing on the floor himself while keeping her head resting on her hand, Hei poked the side of her head, swatted her hand away, then proceeded to tip her in the opposite direction so that she would land on her back.
Now that he could see what she was wearing, he found himself grinning from ear to ear while scooting towards her. He straddled her lower body and supported his weight with his palms and knees, never coming in contact with her. "You are a naughty little fox. Time to wake up, dear sister..." He said, dipping his mouth to her right ear, then blowing onto it, something he knew she liked. He lifted his head, then looked at her sleeping face. "Sleeping while I'm talking is just cruel." Shifting his weight to his left hand, his lifted his right and gently touched his middle finger to her forehead and began to make imaginary circles in her skin in an effort to wake her without hurting her. Eventually, he ran his hand through her dark hair, then kissed her forehead softly before rising off of her and sitting next to her in the seiza position, silently waiting for her to wake up while stroking her hair.
[Seigenshi = Kuromijin. I decided to rename them.]

Yuki did not wake when she was pushed and fell on her back, and she did not wake when she had her ear blown on, nor did she awaken when her forehead was toyed with. She was a relatively heavy sleeper and also liked to be coaxed into being woken up, which is her eyes finally fluttered open after Hei had been stroking her hair for a few minutes. Tilting her head up ever so slightly, she noted that she was lying flat on the floor and that her kotatsu was not where she had left it. A most curious of situations, but was made not-so-curious once her gaze flicked over to Hei who was seated next to her.
In the blink of an eye, she buried her fist into his stomach, putting a scowl on her face. "Don't knock me over while I'm sleeping." Her anger was short lived and her expression softened when by her mere touch, she removed any pain he might experience from her strike. Gathering his robes in her hands, she tugged him down on top of her and pressed her lips into his. Her kiss held more joy than it did passion, but it was not devoid of that emotion either. A single tear leaked from her right eye as she put her left hand to his cheek and looked into his eyes. "I'm so happy that you're back. It was unbearable, the fact that you had gone off and died. Thank you for not leaving me alone forever, I'm not certain I can handle that kind of depression anymore." Casting him shy smile, Yuki dropped her hand and moved it to her chest where she extended her pointer finger and gently pushed him off of her. As much as she wanted to spend intimate time with him, it would have to wait.
Yuki sat up and moved herself into a seating position that consisted of her butt being on the pillow and her knees nearly touching, but her feet pointing in the opposite direction and they were not underneath her. After exhaling a large yawn, she cast a look towards her brother, really taking in his appearance for the first time since a weak ago. "God I missed that face." Giggling in a way that was most unlike a military leader, Yuki pulled Hei in close for a hug and kissed his cheek. "I love you, Hei." 205 ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ Hakase Hei ◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." Having the wind knocked out of him was the not the first thing he had envisioned his sister doing after being woken up in the gentle way she preferred. Thought it was not his ultimate fantasy, he should had been expected, and as he doubled over in pain, he felt the soft touch of Yuki's hand on his abdomen and his pain was suddenly gone. The next thing Hei knew was he was on top of her, kissing her and then watching her cry tears of joy. He brushed her tear from her face and groaned in annoyance as she pushed him away from her just as the going was getting good. That was so like her; such a tease.
He eyed her as she sat up, yawned, then proceeded to hug him and plant a kiss on his cheek. On the cheek of all things. She wasn't delivering and he wanted his way with her. However, being quite smart, he knew when to not push the issue, and instead gripped her shoulders and stared her in the eyes. "Are you okay? What happened with Zenos?" He shifted his legs, letting both slide to his right so that he was slightly sitting on the left.

Clapping her hands on Hei's face, she ignored his question at the present moment and gave him a look that said you will get what you want later. She then smiled, released his face, and slipped out of his grasp before whisking herself over to the railing where she looked towards the forest on Sōkyoku Hill. She had heard a noise over there, and she noticed Nanashi was currently located there. Yuki wasn't sure why, but she also didn't really deem it to be an important issue for the moment. Turning to face Hei, she propped her elbows onto the railing an leaned back, tilting her head towards the ceiling.
"I don't really know, to be honest with you. He didn't seem to be any stronger than normal at first, and was he dishing out high-level attacks one after the other like they were basic techniques. Truly there was nothing out of the ordinary. I entered my Taemanai Raikō Katachi form shortly after you left and I bifurcated him both across the waist and down his middle, slicing his brain in half. He fell, Hei, he fell right there and his Reiatsu vanished. I was so sure he died, but then the pillars came. They dropped from the heavens, surrounding him on all sides to create an impenetrable barrier. It was then I knew something was wrong, but my irritation got the best of me and I stalled.
The pillars turned to dust and there he was, worse for the wear but still alive and unharmed. He was not only outwardly healthy, but younger, shorter, lighter and more importantly, he felt different. He looked troubled, hungry even, and his pulse was erratic, as were most of his chemicals. He distracted me and I naively fell for it. He abducted one of the Lieutenants, took him into a Garganta and returned him with bite marks on his neck that were bleeding heavily. After he threw him to the ground, well after that, as to prove to me that he was still powerful, he lifted all of the sand in the area, and restored the Hill to it's original state. Everything is back where it started, the trees, the halberd, even the bridge is still perfectly aligned. It's astonishing really. Then he left, but I could tell that was not the last time we'd ever see him."
Yuki moved her left arm to the right upper arm, dragging her fingers up and down it's length as she dropped her gaze to Hei again. "And it infuriates me that I let him get away with all of it. Here I am, supposed to be the leader of the Gotei 13, and I went and allowed an enemy to abduct my subordinate from right under my nose. The whole thing really puts me into perspective, I'm not diligent enough, and I lack the control to be a leader. I think they fear me, but I do not feel like they respect me. I feel like I am but a mere replacement, or something like a figurehead of sorts. It's very frustrating to have to fill in Tomomi's shoes, and even more frustrating still that I thought I was capable of doing it when it's clear that I'm not even close to being ready to do so." Furrowing her brow, Yuki fell silent and stared at the floor, somewhat relieved that she had been able to confess all of that to someone. 343 ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ Hakase Hei ◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." Groaning as she moved away, Hei dropped his head in defeat and exhaled a sigh as she leaned against the railing. Dropped his hands into his lap and assuming a cross legged position, Hei rocked back and forth as Yuki told him her story. He took everything in stride, allowing all of it to permeate his brain where it was fully analyzed. He cocked a small smile as she finished up, then erased it as he rose to his feet and moved next to her left, making it so they were shoulder to shoulder. He moved his right arm around her shoulder and tugged her close.
"So what if they don't respect you? It's on their own heads if you really pause to consider it. You are my sister, after all. If they won't respect you, then I'll just have to make them respect you. What do you say to that, eh? Just sit back relax, and let me pound a little respect into their respective souls." Letting out a small laugh, he pushed off of the ground and slid onto the railing where he sat silently, letting his legs hang over the edge and swing from side to side, occasionally bumping into her leg.
"But to be honest, I don't think I'd need to, because I think you are greatly underestimating your talents. You made a mistake, it happens to everyone, even me. You know that and I know that. From what I understand, it wasn't even your fault, you were just tricked by Zenos, which isn't all too degrading considering who he is. But what matters is what you do to fix that, nee-san. You have two choices, you can either wallow in self-pity about something you had no control over, or you can suck it up and go to that kid and see what you can do for him." Scratching his head with his left hand, he let out a small laugh, then reached with his right hand and flicked the right side of her head in a playful manner.

"I suppose..." She replied dejectedly. His words made her feel better, that much was certain, but she still felt pretty bad about allowing it to happen. She would defeinitely say something to the boy in the morning because as far as she was concerned, Kyo was so out of it that her words wouldn't even matter. Besides that, she wanted to spend time with Hei, which was hardly outrageous. The man had been dead, how could anyone blame her for being selfish on the night he was brought back?
A smile had spread across her face at the thought of being with him again, but him flicking her head caused her to let out a low growl and forget all of this. This act prompted her to slip out of his grasp, then shove him backwards and over the railing so that he may fall down to the ground below. Of course she was aware that he wasn't going to go far before he right himself and then came bounding back up to retaliate, so to avoid this, she scooted to the other side of the room. By this time he would already back up, so she was on guard and fully prepared for his revenge.
Her sixth sense went off like mad; something was not right in the Seireitei. Holding her hand up to stop Hei, she furrowed her brow and shut her eyes as she forced her sense to expand and focus more intently on the area in which the irregularity was located. Kyo's Reiryoku pattern surfaced, as did the flood of his blood. Nearly immediately she knew something was wrong with the boy because she felt that his body was not functioning properly. It had been difficult to notice at first because he was already wounded but, she figured it out eventually.
"I think... I think he might be exhibiting his first signs of blood thirst, Hei. I'm so sorry, I know you wanted to do things, but I have to go to the hospital." After bowing lowing to her brother and expressing her deepest apologies, she whisked herself into the enclosed room just past the sliding door and returned carrying Rei Nagare in her hand. She was in a bit of a hurry, so she had not bothered to clothe herself properly. "I'm so sorry, baby" Once more expressing her apologies, she moved towards the railing in an attempt to jump off the edge and enter the streets below. 321 ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ Hakase Hei ◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." Since he was expecting her to react to his flick, he was more than ready when she pushed him backwards over the railing. He graciously flipped over and landed on the air about three feet below the bottom of the railing. His new position was ideal for looking up her shorts, which he did with a smirk on his face before she moved away. A quick Shunpo was all it took to put him back in the room a few a feet away from Yuki who was just now putting her hand up to indicate that he should stop. Initially he took this as her playing and he didn't intend to take it seriously. That was, until he noticed that her eyes were shut tight and she wasn't moving. Dropping his hands, he shifted his weight she vanished and reappeared.
He watched silently as she apologized to him once more, but suddenly appeared to her left before she could jump off the railing. He grabbed her wrist, effectively stopping her from leaving and pulled her back down to the floor. "No. You stay, I'll go. I'd get there faster anyway." He moved his hands over his sternum, placing his right hand under his left and spacing them abut six inches apart and keeping them facing each other. "Besides, I feel the strange need to be nice. ********' scary is what it is, but whatever. Later. Yata no Kagami." Light became physically apparent in the form of tiny beams that began to be pulled at a point in the dead center of his hands. It suddenly shot outward in the form of a thin but wide beam of light that began to reflect off of the many buildings below them. Hei suddenly collapsed into the beam, merging with it as he traveled the path in few hundred nanoseconds to arrive at the hospital faster than any might hope to do so.

Hibiki Kirisho - Squad Nine Captain - ================================================
The gods trembled The demons flockedHibiki stood there in front of the door for a while, not really knowing what to do. Or, to be more accurate, he knew exactly what to do but was not too eager to do it. Taking a deep breath to calm himself down, he tidied himself up one last time, and looked at the envelope he was carrying ”Okay, calm yourself down.” he whispered to himself ”Just go in there, apologize and explain. Apologize and explain.” he chanted the last phrase a couple more times as he paced around in front of the door leading to Captain-Commander Yuki’s office, or rather her living quarters.
Coincidentally, as he paced back and forth, Yuki and Hei were bidding each other farewell, as the latter sped; or rather teleported off to the hospital Hibiki raised his head as if feeling a slight disturbance in the reiatsu. After pausing for a bit to make sure it wasn’t something ominous, Hibiki decided he had kept himself waiting long enough and knocked on the door as he spoke out ”Captain-Commander, I would like to discuss something with you.” almost saying instead that he’d like to have an audience with her, but stopped midway after realizing that he was talking to a military head and not some king, or queen.
Afterwards he waited for a bit for Yuki to respond, not entirely sure if knocking on the door was a good idea, or if the entire visit was a good idea either. But he was there, and there wasn’t much he could do about it now but try and make himself look less of a fool. The reason for his visit is because of a particular event that happened during the war with the Exaequere, specifically when he, his lieutenant, and other Shinigami encountered the lesser Exaequere’s Cornix and Vesper. Though initially present in the first part of the battle, Hibiki had to withdraw from the field of battle when he was told, via a jigokuchou, that two more lesser Exaequere’s had shown up, both at different locations in Seiretei and Rukongai. Thus, deciding that he could go there faster given his own agility as well as his Bankai, Hibiki decided to abruptly leave the battle in the hands of the others. By the time he had dealt with the last lesser Exaequere, the events on Soukyoku Hill were already ending.
Thus, because of this most would assume he had deserted, but he wanted to set things straight, at least with the Captain-Commander herself. Though this was mainly in part due to her rank, it was also more of a personal issue as he wanted to show that he was capable and competent, that and he feared that his Squad’s funds would be reduced should Yuki decide to punish him in such a way.The winds were unleashed ================================================

Though she was fully prepared to the leap into the streets below to go and assist Kyoshiro and her former Lieutenant, she was suddenly grabbed by Hei and pulled back. This act alone caused her to let out a small shriek as she released the railing and fell back. Even though he had not pulled on her very hard, she had been unaware of his intentions and was duly surprised which caused her to lose her balance, and through no fault of his own, fall flat on the ground. She winced and rubbed her butt and back after she sat up to watch Hei be. "Do as you like, you wouldn't listen to my objections anyway..." She sighed, and pulled herself to her feet, gripping the railing for support. Once she was upright, she leaned against the railing with her arms folded and touching the white wood to provide support for a portion of her 165 lbs.
It was at this time that Hibiki made his already obvious presence all the more obvious by speaking aloud and knocking on the door that opened up to the stairs that lead to this room. Without bothering to look in his direction, she let him in. The blowing evening wind from outside suddenly switched direction and entered the open-air room, flowed into the shallow stairwell, then gripped the door and wrenched it open to allow Hibiki access to her quarters. Without moving or turning to greet him, she waited for him to approach the top of the stairs before addressing his prior statement. "No doubt to explain or otherwise rectify your reasons for not being present while your Lieutenant and colleagues were left half-dead. Of course, I only assume this to be the case as I can think of no other reason for you disturb me at this hour."
Her tone, while her voice was calm, was awfully distant and cold like she was deeply troubled by him being around. This was not the message she was trying to give off, however, but certain things tended to slip out when one was tired of being around other people. It was, after all, nearly nine o' clock at night and she had already been asleep once. A few seconds passed and a breeze ruffled her hair as she tilted her head to look at Hibiki out of the corner of her eye. "You may speak." Hibiki Kirisho - Squad Nine Captain - ================================================
The gods trembled The demons flockedGiven Yuki’s actions and general mood, and the fact that his reasons for coming to her office were quite scandalous, Hibiki deemed it best to keep quiet as the Captain-Commander let him in. As he followed her in to her quarters, he felt as if he wanted to abruptly turn around and leave, that is if Yuki would even allow him to make such a disgraceful act. The tone in her voice was cold, and calm, Hibiki had prepared himself for a more hostile reaction, given his assumed desertion. He could only guess that it was either the way which she normally conducted formal business or something was bothering her, and if it was the latter he certainly hoped it wasn’t him.
After she had finished, Hibiki opened his mouth to speak, but stopped half-way as he thought she had something else to add. After a few seconds though, nothing was spoken or done, so he assumed that she was finished, but he certainly wasn’t going to try out his theory. A second passed by and Yuki finally gave him permission to speak, with which Hibiki let in a deep breath before doing so ”Captain-Commander. When you and several other Captains went to face the Exaequere’s leader, my Lieutenant and I, along with other Shinigami, were tasked to deal with the lesser Exaequere’s that had appeared shortly after your departure.” he paused for a bit, not sure if that was the proper beginning statement or not, but decided there wasn’t anything he could do about it now anyway.
”Initially, a battle was fought between use and the lesser Exaequere’s, I myself, along with my Lieutenant faced off against Vesper, while the others fought Cornix. The battle was relatively short-lived, and by the time Captain Hei was resurrected, the two of them were already nearing defeat.” a twitch of his mouth caused him to stop once more as he controlled himself and continued ”However, just before Captain Hei was sent to your location by Aurelius, the latter revived Cornix who was half-dead, and aided Vesper who was about to be defeated. After this I had planned on simply resuming the battle, however, news via a jigokucho informed of the appearance of two other lesser Exaequere’s.”
Stretching his right hand towards Yuki, Hibiki presented to her the folder containing the detail report of what transpired ”One of them appeared near the northwest wall, attempting to destroy it using brute strength. The other one appeared in the outskirts of Rukongai, creating tunnels beneath several districts, causing the ground to lose its structural stability. It took me quite some time to take care of them, but I eventually did so. Though, by the time I was finished, far too much had already transpired.” ending his rather long explanation, Hibiki bowed his head towards Yuki as he made one last statement ”I apologize. I am aware that this story seems far-fetched, but it is the truth. I am willing to accept any punishment you deem fit, Captain-Commander.”

As he began to speak, Yuki sunk down lower as general sleepiness began to make itself more apparent. With the new position of her legs, Yuki moved her upper to accommodate by turning to face Hibiki and putting most of her weight on her right arm which was now the only thing touching the top of the railing. Her left hand was now atop her right, and she was doing her very best to stay alert, but she barely heard a word Hibiki said. All in all, all she was able to discern in the beginning was that he had run off to deal with something else that was apparently more important that the rest of the Lieutenants nearly dying. After staring blankly at him for several minutes in utter silence, she was hit with the realization of the rest of what he had said. The delay had been obviously due to to the fact that she no longer desired to be up and talking to others.
Looking down at the folder in her hand, she gingerly leafed through the papers with a single hand before snapping it shut and causing one of the papers to float slowly to the floor. In her palm, a sudden purple flame erupted, causing the folder to ignite in seconds and be reduced to ashes in about ten. She rubbed her fingers together and turned her hand over, scattering the ashes onto the floor in response to what Hibiki was getting at by handing her this. "Sorry, but I don't need a piece of paper to tell me what I need to know. I'll judge any event personally and punish or reward accordingly. As ridiculous as that story may or may not sound, you were invariably truthful, that much I know." She tapped the side of her head to indicate she had some alternative method for seeing the truth, then dropped her left hand to her side.
"I shall not be punishing you." Yuki pushed off the railing and straightened up, then turned towards the door that lead inside and began a short stroll towards this door as if she had nothing more to say. After she reached the door that lead inside, she touched the door frame and turned to face him, pausing to finish her thought. "However, if you want a punishment then give it to yourself, Hibiki-kun. And make sure it's proper; don't do it for me, do it for your sake. It's your own self you have to look at in the mirror, after all... your own self you have to think of everyday. It's not my problem if your self-inflicted punishment is not enough and the guilt eats at you. Good night, Hibiki-kun" With this, she disappeared inside, shutting the door behind her. 623 ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ Hakase Hei Jūnibantai Taichō ◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." After making a short detour to the labs in order to drop off the blood specimen that apparently already existed, Hei arrived at Yuki's quarters only to find a most unwanted visitor. Hibiki, the 9th Division Captain, was here after hours, bothering his sister with something. His gaze fell towards the ground after he caught the sight of ashes tainting the lacquered wood of this room. His eyes traveled to the lone piece of paper on the ground and after zooming in on it, he scanned it's contents, committed it to memory despite it being utterly useless, and then looked up to Hibiki. All he had discerned from the writing that he had seen was that Hibiki had run off during the fight between the Lieutenants and the Exaequare, and without the information from the other pages, he had no idea of the rest of the story. This would not, however, prevent him from assuming the worst about Hibiki and thereby looking at him in a whole new light; a coward. "Running away from the battlefield. Deplorable little boy. Get out of my sight." After curling his lip towards Hibiki in an expression of deep disgust, he wasted no time in seizing the Captain by his robes and hurling him over the railing and into the dimly-lit, yet still active streets below.
Brushing his hands against each other as if to get rid of dirt, Hei turned on his heel and gathered Yuki's dishes, then moved towards the door that led into Yuki's quarters. Once inside, he hurriedly moved towards the kitchen to drop off her bowl and chopsticks, carelessly leaving them sitting in the sink to be dealt with at a later time. After dropping them off, he moved towards the two pocket doors that lead to her room and hastily threw them open, only to be struck by the familiar smell of lavender. There he found her, his sister, sitting on her bed as though she had been expecting him. He instantly relaxed himself, sliding out of his usual straight stance and a smile spread across his face. "I missed you." He said softly from across the room. "Some people argue that you know nothing while you are dead, but that's not the case. I was just alone and trapped to my thoughts, only to think about you day in and day out. Death is terrible, but then I'm not sure that was really death... I managed to think about a lot of things, Yuki... And one of them was just how much I feel about you, and random other things..." Stepping forward, he appeared in front of her with his hands against her shoulders, pushing her her over slowly as he craned his neck and touched his lips to her exposed collarbone, then her neck, and dozens of other places, anywhere he could reach.
His fingers took hold of her shirt, tugging at it as he continued his gentle kissing that eventually ending with his mouth next to her ear. "Death made me think about you so much... So... It would be very small, I don't want to tell anyone either, and I'm not sure, but I don't think it would be legal. However, if you would like to... I would gladly take you as my wife." He whispered softly into her ear before returning his lips to hers and gathering her hand in his as he pushed her all the way down and fell on top of her, but took care not to sandwich her between himself and her bed, but instead quickly shifted his legs so that he was straddling her lower body while remaining on his knees and leaving the rest of his weight to his back.

Glancing at the door as it opened, Yuki smiled softly as her brother's frame filled the door and watched his mouth as he spoke of missing her and how he had thought about her while he was dead. She was initially surprised at his eagerness to approach her, given his choice to use a Shunpo rather than simply walk the ten feet. Nevertheless, she was not displeased with him taking hold of her shoulders, pushing her back and planting kisses on every inch of skin he could reach as he eased her descent back onto her own bed. Eventually his kisses ceased, ending with his mouth at her ear and her feeling herself being thrown into the simple pleasure of having Hei's warm breath violating her ear and neck.
He began speaking, clearly avoiding the real subject matter at first, which made it obvious to her that he was nervous about bringing it up. Yuki waited patiently until he got to the statement she really wanted to hear; the one about marriage. She let out a small gasp and her arms instantly found themselves wrapped around his upper body, pulling him towards her as she hugged him tightly. "Yes!" was all she could breath past a mixture of excitement and rising pleasure that was being brought about by constant physical contact. Hei was definitely a man who know how to please a woman without even taking her clothes even partly off, which was a very valuable skill to have.
As he shifted herself above her, it was all she could do to cling to him tightly, hindering his advances that she was very willing to receive, but also trying to deny them at the same time. "Oh how long I've been waiting for you to say that, Hei. And no, I don't really care if anyone knows. It's just you and I that need to worry about this relationship and no one else should be included." Pressing her lips to his neck, she let out a relieved sigh and turned the both of them so he was at her side. Images of her wedding flashed through her mind, more specifically one of her wearing a wedding dress, and idea which she had cast aside many years ago. But now that Hei had essentially proposed, she could fulfill that dream.
