Background: He never really speaks of his past until he has been asked of it. There was nothing mysterious or special about it, or at least that is up to interpretation. But other than that, he lived a normal life and it started form being born in the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Kaito lived there for about 14 years. Both his mother and father were ninja. His mother reached the rank of Jounin and his father reached the rank of ANBU. He was usually called useless and weak as a child because in the academy he never found anything he was relatively good at, but he trained hard to improve himself. He achieved the rank of Genin with Naruto and the rest of the other Genin. Kaito's three man cell consisted of Kai Sontashi, currently a phenomenal fire styled user, and Megumi Rantou, a great Taijutsu user and an earth styled user that is currently in training trying to crystalize matter. Together they were made as Team 12. They are both Chuunin now. Their sensei was Aoba Yamishiro, which is a water and wind stylist who can use ice as well. While he was in the village he and Sakura both learned medical ninjutsu from Tsunade together and Kaito also learned how to use Genjutsu as an art of fighting through studies. This was the beginning of finding out what Kaito was capable of doing. He had been on previous missions, but his only source of fighting was regular hand to hand combat and the use of his ninja tools. The rest in his cell were already using the basics of their elemental talents and ninja skills. Through hard and vigorous training, Kaito was able to find out that he was good with chakra control. That just meant that Kaito was able to find his talents within Genjutsu and Medical Ninjutsu.
Kaito’s mother and father died during the war with the Sand and Sound waged against the Leaf. Out of total anger and hatred from knowing that Orochimaru was responsible for destroying their home and killing their Hokage, he quickly started to study on what was known about Orochimaru. He stumbled upon his lab that he had done inhumane experiments in. All Kaito did was read as much as he could to know what he really was doing. Through these studies, he actually found a scroll that made a contract with the snakes in order to summon them. He was on the Chuunin track just as the rest of the Genin on his group. He even picked up a Kinjutsu that he now knows how to perform and exactly what it does. As Kaito studied, he vowed that he would be able to at least have a fraction of the knowledge and skill of Orochimaru, but use them in a humane way. Kaito did numerous missions with the other genin so he gained a lot of experience and made very close friends with the other ninja in the village (including Temari, Kankuro, and Gaara) before he came to the Grave Village. Kaito then left the village with the permission from Tsunade to get stronger a year before everyone became Chuunin. When Kaito left he was traveling for about four to six days. Then he had stumbled upon the Village Hidden beneath the Grave. Now that he is in the Grave Village he has been growing stronger everyday expanding what he had learned from his sensei in the Leaf Village and from his current sensei. Only if he knew that his ancestors originated from this legendary village.
