My poem. i hope you like it it's more of a free verse i kinda did on the spot
He sits across from me. He stares in my eyes longingly. Brown, and a little bit of green, swirl together to make a perfect color of comfort.
His lips curve up in a crooked smile. The smile I fell in love. The smile that always kept me coming back. The smile, attached to the lips, attached to the beautiful face, connected to the magnificent body of the one i love.
When will he come back? When will my waiting be over? Soon, thats all I know for sure. The answer to all of these questions, the small voice in my head always whispering in my ear "Soon, love, soon."

Decent poem, my best ones come from me writing many at once. My best ones tend to be last but there have been exceptions.

I write my best poems at random times... like when it's really late at night or when I have a verse stuck in my head.

I usually write the best late at night too. It's like a lightbulb flickers to life when the sun goes down. And I'm up all night just scribbling in a notebook.
