Nywele had seen banu Kifaranga almost everyday for awhile now. He didn't really think about it after all she was there either for Little Vashti or Amara, but when she didn't show up for several days he found himself worrying about her. His daughter Vashti seemed to feel the same way. It also got him to thinking about how he had never met her pad Kwea. Perhaps it was time he pay a visit to this pad. It might be good for them to be friends, since their banu were friends.
The large god padded towards pad Kwea's cave. His wings were tucked tight to his back so they were impossible to see. What would have been standing out about him is that his markings were glowing even in the day light. Little Vashti was in toe telling him which way to go. He could tell when he arrived at the right den though, the same scent that drifted of Kifa surround the area. "Pad Kwea?!" He called out sitting a respectful distance from the den.
Vashti just bounced as she followed her father. She looked so tiny beside him which she felt was a good thing. She was excited to be on an outing with her father, he didn't seem to leave the den to much save on his trips where he promised to bring home more mothers for Vashti but all he had brought so far were toys. When her father sat down she followed suit brushing her fur down and sitting their with her nose in the air just slightly trying to give herself a regal look.

Kwea ears perked at his name and a feeling of great curiosity fell over him as he looked round, checking all the girls were in the den. Amara was out hunting, Thuraya asleep and Kifa seemed to be nursing. Couldn't be anything to do with his banu then. Getting to his paws he made a beeline for the dens entrance his ears perking high as he exited his den, showing his dominance over this area but nodding his head in respect to this other Pad. He did not know him.
"Greetings." he states simply moving towards Nywele and sitting slowly, looking the other male over, who was this? "How can I help you sir? And excuse me, but it would seem you know my name but I do not know yours." he smiles in a friendly manner glancing at the little cub at the other pads heels.

Nywele also nodded his head in respect to Kwea. "Greetings! My name is Pad Nywele, this is my daughter Banu Vashti. I know you through your banu Kifaranga." Nywele smiled thinking he should compliment the other pad he did wish to make friends with him. "You've done quite well with her I must commend you, she wasn't to fond of you at first but seems to adore you now. Plus she is a banu I envy, but that's not why I'm here. I just felt it important to meet you since your banu has done so much for my daughter. That and we were worried, Banu Kifa makes quite a few visits to see either my beybanu or my daughter and she hasn't been by in days is everything alright? If you don't mind me asking." Nywele asked with a tilt of his head.

Kwea smiled, he had heard Kifa mention the little cub before, the one she was teaching to sing. Now he understood what was happening, he nods and a very smug smile raises on her maw. "Thank you, yes she has been slightly troubled but she has learned to love it here."
"She is quite alright. She gave us a little surprise." He smiles for a moment, he was still a little in shock that she had given birth to cubs, he was fairly sure that Kifa was still in shock too. "You see,s he didn't know she was pregnant." He laughs quietly and shakes his head. "Apparently her family gives birth to small cubs but she had never seen another female pregnant before except for Amara and Thuraya and they both ballooned out." He explained though he realised he hadn't explained why he was saying this to them. "She gave birth to three beautiful cubs just a few days ago and has been unable to leave them yet." He smiled proudly puffing out his chest. He was after all a very proud father.

"Congratulations!!!" Nywele fluttered his wings with excitement he knew how much Kifa had wanted to have cubs. "What a surprise I'm sure, I saw her not to long ago and she certainly did not look it. My Beybanu was huge when she had three, but then again I suppose cubs from my side and her's do not run small. Its odd though Kifa is such a large lioness, you'd think her cubs would show it." He mused a bit but figured the must just get bigger with age.
Vashti let out a squeal from the news breaking her regal appearance. She jumped up and down a bit. "When I can they play?! I know they need to grow, but I wanna play with Kifa's cubs!!!" Vashti gasped suddenly and sat back down taking up her regal looking position once more. "Sorry...."

Kwea chuckles a quiet rumbling laugh. "Yes she says the children in her family start small and grow up large. I'm a little dubious but at the moment I am accepting of what she says." He looks down at the little female by Nyweles side, he wouldn't normally accept such an outburst from one of his own Banu. She was not his though so he gave a little shake of his head before replying.
"it's okay, I think it will be a while the cubs are very smallI worry that rough housing will injure them." he bristled protectively, he didn't want to see any of his children hurt. He looks thoughtful for a moment and smiles, he was going soft "Why don't you go along and see her, I am sure she will be glad to see your face, I will talk to your father while you go and say hello." He looks at the heavily marked male and smiles lightly. "Kifa often speaks of your daughter with great love, I think she would appreciate the visit."

Nywele had shot a look at Vashti from the outburst normally he won't mind, but the first meeting between to pads was a formal one. "I am glad to hear that there is an explanation behind it, I would hate for anything to happen to banu Kifa's first litter." Nywele said with a worried voice he knew it would devastate the banu if anything were to happen to them.
Vashti smiled at what Kwea said, but not wanting to make another mistake she looked to her father first to make sure she had permission from both of them to do so.
Nywele wanted to let her know he still wasn't to happy, so he kept his eyes on Kwea. One of his wings stretched out and nudge the little banu forwards at a silent sign that she could go.
Vashti seems to scoot over the ground with out moving. The almost invisible wing almost shoving her over . She looked back at her father with flattened ears knowing she was in trouble before moving forwards. She made a little bow as she passed Kwea. "Thank you and excuse me Pad Kwea." The little banu entered the den quietly in case the banu in side were sleeping.
"Sorry, my daughter is still young and excitable, but she will learn, she has her mind set on being the perfect banu." Nywele said with a smile he was proud his daughter was trying to learn as many skills as possible. "Little Vashti just adores banu Kifa and always likes to tell me how with her help she will one day sing to her pad whenever he wished her too. I am thankful for this so if you need help from my harem while you have a den is full of cubs please do not hesitate to ask." Nywele said with a nod sure that Amani or Uggi would be more then happy to help hunt seeing as the god really didn't each much anyways. "Also when the cubs are older they can use my playground if you wish. I built it for my cubs, but..." Nywele sighs. "I have not been as blessed as you when it comes to banu and cubs. I do think I need to become more aggressive in my banu capturing wooing the female does not really seem to work like I thought it would." Nywele confessed he was a trusting pad so he was easy to talk with Kwea even though they did not know each other all that well.

Kwea nods a little watching the young banu run off in to the den. He knew the other male was embarrassed and hadn't missed the almost invisible nudge to the young femme. She was clearly sorry, he could see that so he accepted that she was actually a good banu, just a little unruly because of her age. he wondered if his children would be like that? Well he would find out soon enough he supposed.
"Thank you for your offer. I would much appreciate any help you could provide, it was a little unexpected that Kifa would give birth too, with only Amara hunting and there being eight cubs in the den. I'm afraid kifa just hasn't been as well fed as Thuraya so she is suffering a little." He sighs gently he was worried about Kifas health, if only he had known she could have been getting extra meals as Thuraya had.
"Kifa is very good at singing, she is finally coming back to herself some of her lullabys are just beautiful." He sighs gently. "I am sure you will be more blessed soon, it's always a delight when they finally have cubs but these are my first, Kifa didn't even know she was pregnant and Thuraya comes from a very large family, obviously those genes have followed her in to my harem." he grins proudly. "I would certainly reciprocate your kindness in the future. Perhaps one of my daughters would come to you in the future I have five now."

"Then I will tell my banu to double the hunting efforts and drop the extra off for you and your banu. I bet it was unexpected I've never heard of a female that gives birth without showing she was pregnant. It must have been a shock when she went into labor." Nywele commented with a nod.
"I hope so, my beybanu is not ready to have off spring again while my other banu is still to young." He admired with a frown. "I have a good feeling about my next banu hunt though." He said with a nod determined to come back with another banu. Nywele smiled and held his excitement in over being offered future banu, obviously he had done well to make friends with this pad. "I'd be more the willing to send one of my future daughters your way as well pad Kwea. I'm spoiling Vashti my first daughter though, its wrong of me I know this, but she is having a paw in deciding where she goes. I want her to be as happy with her pad as I will be. Your Egemon is on her hopeful list though. Banu Kifa brought him by one day and he and my daughter got a long together quite well." Nywele remarked with a nod of his head. Though he separated himself from Kifa for he found it wrong for them to be alone with Amani not being there. He had watched the cubs play together in the playground from the den.

Kwea nods his head appreciatively. "Indeed, I thought she was suffering with Thuraya, it was a surprise when she gave birth to three cubs." He chuckles, he felt blessed, but he wished that he had given Kifa more food recently. How was he to know she would not show her pregnancy?
"Egemon is a good boy, a good pad. He will treat your girl correctly though with a paw that isn't too light. I don't believe in spoiling the banu though I do understand about treating your children differently." He smiles a little quick smile, he felt very differently abut his new cubs, they were his children they needed to be treated right. Not to say he wouldn't make sure they were good little Banu but they were his. He wasn't sure he would spoil them but he knew he would probably be more lenient.
"I suppose it is something i must think about in the future, but for now, they are much too young to be thinking about such things. I do wish you luck in your future though, I am sure you will manage to return with a fertile mistress."

"Well I must say my congrats to you again." Nywele said with a firm nod.
"Then if she so decided on him I will agree with a happy heart. Any boy of your's Im sure will do her good. She is a good banu but could use a little discipline that I do not seem cable of giving to her. Vashti is sure to be the best banu she can be though so she is headed on the right track she just might lack in humility." Nywele admitted.
Nywele nodded and got to his paws. "Believe me when they are your cubs and not just banu it is so much different. I think its time for me to head back, but I would not mind a spar or two if you ever find the time Pad Kwea. Vashti!!" Nywele called to his daughter still holding a stern tone making sure she knew she was going to have a small lecture when they got home.
Vashti tiptoed out of the cave obviously trying to be quite now that she understood the cubs were so young and Banu Kifa was still tired. As soon as she felt she was at a good spot she be lined to her father's side and sat down not sure why she was called.
"Thank you for meeting with me Pad Kwea." Nywele said giving a gentleman's nods before glancing over to Vashti.
Vashti sunk to the ground in a little bow knowing she best not miss a beat. "Thank you Pad Kwea for your hospitality, understanding, and forgiveness for my earlier outburst." She waited for a moment before peeking to see if her father approved, seeing his nod she stood.
"See you around Pad Kwea." Nywele said with a big smiled before turning to leave, his daughter right at his heels.
