Civ 4. Can't afford Starcraft at the moment, but I'll probably pick it up eventually.
Been playing Metal Gear Solid too. I fail at it so hard though. crying

I haven't played a Civ game since Civ I. I can't decide whether I miss it or not. Civ 1 was awesome.
sad I too am not super-awesome at shooters, whether they are 2d or 3d. I do not have the most lightning fast of reflexes.
But w/ RPGs and RTSs, I destroy many.

Metal Gear Solid isn't a shooter per sei. Most of the game is done in a top down third person mode because you're sneaking around. There are moments where you need to be in first person to shoot though and that's where I fail miserably.
When a headshot is the difference between knocking someone out immediately or having to hide for a minute as the shot to his butt makes him sleepy, you really want the headshot.

For some reason, when I read Metal Gear, I thought of Metal Slug instead. xD
Guess you can tell I haven't ever played anything with Solid Snake involved other than flash videos.
