Iskra: *Pronk~ Pronk~ Pronk~ HOLE* DDDDD8 ooooooow
Jaelyn:: -Pronking behind Iskra but then notices her disappearance- O_o Where'd ya go?!
Iskra: @_@ Where am I? JAELYN. IT'S DARK. WHERE ARE YOU. *Sneezes from the dirt*
Luca: *moping about as usual, oblivious of his two friends*
Jaelyn:: -follows the voice to the hole and gasps dramatically- ISKRA! Oh my goodness! The ground has eaten you! Don't be digested!
Iskra: W-what? D: Heeeyy there' some light up there and.. Eaten? D< GET ME OUT OF HERE.
Jaelyn:: -gasp- I'll get you out! I'll get you out! I'll- -almost slips in herself- =-O -backs away from the edge of the hole- Stay there! I'll find help! -dashes away and starts running around. Doesn't see where she's going and charges into Luca- OOMPH!
Luca: *shrieks as he's bowled over by what he images is a horrible monster, bursts into tears and flails, trying to get away* GET OFF HELP HELP PAPA HELP DX
Iskra: *Attempts to pronk her way to freedom but only gets more dirt to fall down* D< *Hears Luca's scream and imagines it as Jaelyn being eaten by the earth too* Omgomgomg ;~;
Jaelyn:: EEEP! -flails on the ground trying to get up but is to shocked by the screeching- My ears! My sensitive ears! -finally struggles to her feet- L-Luca?! Luca! -nuzzles him and coos softly- Sh sh sh sh sh... it's okay! It was an accident. I swear!
Luca: *stops sobbing and opens his eyes, relieved to see Jaelyn. slowly stands up, trembling* I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hurt your ears--I was just scared! Oh it's okay Jaelyn please don't feel bad I'm okay *sniffles, trying not to cry again, because he feels so bad for reacting like that and it actually did kind of hurt... but he has to be strong!*
Jaelyn:: -beams brightly at his apology and shakes her head- No no! It's no biggy! Come though! I need your help! -bounces with nervousness- The ground has eaten Iskra and we need to get her out before it's digestive juices melt her! -nips at his hair and tugs it gently for him to follow her- We don't have much time! -dashes back to the scene of Iskra being 'eaten'- I have help! LUCA IS HERE!
Iskra: D: JAELYN DID YOU GET EATEN TOO? *Totally worried now, wondering if the shadows of roots she sees above are actually teeth- And oh god is that a tongue now?* OH! 8D Jaelyn! I thought you got eaten too.
Luca: *cringes and pulls his ears back, terrified* B-but--*whimpers as he's lead by Jaelyn* How can I help? I'm scared, Jae--*jumps as he hears Iskra* Iskra?! Are you okay? ;_; *eyes the hole, too afraid to approach*
Iskra: *Giggles, even though she's shaking like a leaf from fear* 8D Hi Luca~ I'm okay. I think. My head feels funny.
Jaelyn:: You can help me, I'm sure you can Luca. It's better than doing it alone... -she gulped and peeked down the hole- Oh no! The fumes from the ground monster are already starting to mess with her mind! We need to get her out fast! -looks around and spots a vine growing up a tree- Oh oh! That! -she dashes over and tugs at it with er teeth, but its on there really tight- Luuuuca! Help me! -continues tugging-
Luca: *tries not to panic, choking back a sob* D-don't die, Iskra! *she's the strong one! the oldest one! how could this have happened? snaps his attention back to Jaelyn, cowering and doubtful but listening to her words* But what can we do? *glances back at the hole, can't help but whimper again, then hears Jae call for him and scurries over* I.. I don't think I'm strong enough, Jaelyn. *eyes the vine uncertainly, sees how hard Jaelyn is trying and considers how scared Iskra must be... tentatively grabs the vine in his mouth and pulls, digging his hooves in the ground*
Iskra: D8 YOU CAN DO IT. I believei n you Luca~!
Jaelyn:: -managed to loosen it a good amount before Luca joined her so when that little added force was gained it snapped the vine off and Jaelyn tumbled back into Luca- Oh! You did it Luca! You did it! Thank you! -nuzzles him and takes the vine in her mouth dashing back to the hole with her friend- Okay Iskra. We're going to lower this vine down to you! And uh... well.... just bite it and don't let go! We'll try to pull you up! This light as a feather! -she gave a nervous chuckle before tossing down one end and holding on to the other.- Luc, hold on to it too. I need all the help I can get.
Iskra: *Notices the blob figure that must be Jaelyn above her then gets smacked in the head with the vine* DD< HEY. WATCH WHERE YOU THROW THINGS. *grumbles and searches for the vine against the dirt wall.* 8D okay! found it! *Bites down on it hard*
Luca: *surprised when the vine actually snaps, can only blink as Jaelyn nuzzles him. pride and relief and all that doesn't really register as he follows Jaelyn in a daze, but snaps out of it when Iskra shouts* S-sorry, Iskra! D: *furrows his brown as he moves to help Jaelyn again, praying this is enough. chomps down and pulls as hard as he can*
Jaelyn:: D: Whoops.... -whispers to Luca- probably should have warned her before I dropped it. -mumbles around the vine in her mouth- On the count of three tug! One! Two! THREE! -digs her hooves into the ground and leans back hard, trying to hoist the older yearling-
Iskra: *Is jerked a few feet up and begins to dig her hooves into the side of the wall and try to walk up it vertically*
Luca: *nods nervously at Jaelyn, then clenches his eyes shut and pulls back when instructed, straining but forcing himself to pull as hard as he can*
Jaelyn:: Alllmoooooost.... -she heard the scraps of dirt as Iskra got closer and closer to the surface, but unfortunately the vine snapped, sending Iskra falling back into the depths of the hole- AH! NUUU! -pokes her head in and widens her eyes. Surprisingly enough the shine from her glowing eyes and chest illuminated the hole pretty well- Iskra! So sorry! Are you okay?
Iskra: *Omgomgomg almost there- SNAP* OHSHIT. *Thuds herself against the ground again, groaning in response to Jaelyn. It takes her another moment to regain lucidy* I'm.. Alive.. Wooaah you're really pretty up there.
Luca: *gasps as the vine snaps, then pauses for a moment, shocked* .... *starts crying, going into panic mode* We were s-so close! What are we going to do now, Jaelyn?! I-I thought it would work--Iskra, Iskra I'm so sorry! *cowers behind Jaelyn, sobbing but too afraid to look*
Jaelyn:: -giggle blush- Teehee... aww thank you Isk- hey! Wait, now is not the time for compliments! We need to save your tushy! Um... is there any way you can climb up? Look on the wall. Is there any holes you can stick your hooves in to get up up up? -She used her eyes to focus light on the walls, hoping she was glowy enough to save her friend.- Luca... hold my tail so I don't fall in. That.... would.... SUCK.
Iskra: Uuh, I'll look.. *Gets to her hooves and sways a moment* D< I'll kill you if you fall ontop of me, Jaelyn. *Totally grumpy now.* I see some.. D: I just hope the dirt isn't too soft. C-could you get another vine? Incase the holes stop midway?
Luca: *flinches away from Jaelyn, eyes wide and teary behind his purple visor* N-no, Jaelyn! Don't do that! I'm not s-strong enough to hold you a-and.. what if you fall in?! *shakes his head frantically, his stringy hair flying all over the place* I-it would be bad if you were both stuck.. *okay that is pretty much the scariest thought ever. looks around, hoping to find someone else to help, then turns his attention back to Iskra and gasps as she threatens Jaelyn, trembling* D-don't say that, Iskra! ;_; W-we'll help you, just please... *looks around, even more panicky, then realizes...* M-maybe we can use my scarf? *looks down at the scarf around his neck. although his dad hates it, it is like a security blanket to Luca... though he'd risk it to help his friend. looks up at Jaelyn worriedly* W-would it be strong enough? Do you think Iskra could reach it? ;_; *really hopes he's being helpful*
Jaelyn:: -widens her eyes at Luca's little scarf and tilts her head- LUCA! You're a genius! -nuzzles him quickly with affection and unwraps it from his neck carefully- It'll work just fine. It looks very strong. -Jaelyn looks back in and sighs- Iskra... you're going to have to climb up a little more before you can probably reach it. Can you do that? -shines her glowy chest and eyes down so she can see.-
Iskra: *Renewed with hope at the sight of the scarf* LUCA! I love you you are a genious omg! *Slowly climbs up the wall, making sure her hooves are secure in the holes before putting any pressure on them.* @_@ Th-this is really hard.. *Slowly proceeds upward*
Luca: *nuzzling Luca is like nuzzling a boulder, can only frown and eye his scarf, saying a final farewell in his head* Be careful, Iskra... *hopes this really works now, gingerly grabs hold of his scarf in his mouth and waits, tense*
Jaelyn:: -feels bad for poor Luca. He seems to really like his scarf- Okay, grab it when you can and then we'll pull you up the rest of the way! -bites the scarf and holds it tightly, waiting for the weight of Iskra-
Iskra: *Finally touches her nose the scarf* D: I'm really sorry you have to do this with your scarf, Luca. *Steps up again and bites down hard on it, lightly tugging to let them know she got it.*
Luca: *this hurts me more than it hurts you, scarf* >: *chomps down and tugs, pulling back just as hard as he did with the vine*
Jaelyn:: -Tugs and tugs and tugs and rip... riiip...- D8 Oh my gosh! Hurry Iskra! It's tearing! -pulls at it harder and just as Iskra made it to the ledge Jae bit at her hair and pulled her up painfully, not thinking-
Iskra: *tries to get up faster when the cloth starts to rip and omg almost there-* OOOWWWWW *Nearly screams as she tumbles onto the ground* DDDDD< LEGGO LEGGO LEGGO.
Jaelyn:: -lets go of Iskra's hair and pouts- I... I was only trying to h-help.... -feels bad for pulling her up by her hair, but it was the only thing she could really grab-
Luca: *can't help but tear up as he feels his scarf rip, but refuses to let go, just closing his eyes and pulling* pleasepleaseplease... *stumbles back when Jaelyn lets go and opens his eyes, terrified for a moment that it did rip, but is instead surprised by Iskra's screeching and.. and she's out! rushes over to Iskra, now crying out of relief* Iskra! *buries his face in her fur, sobbing* y-you're alive!
Iskra: *Omg rush of emotions, sniffles at Jaelyn* S-sorry. ;~; It just really hurt. T-thank you. A ton. *Would go nuzzle her but is attacked by Luca!* OMG Luca ;~; Thank you so much. You're so brave and cool and please stop crying. *Massively nuzzles him.* It's okay. I'm fine now. A few hairs gone, but I'm okay. *Giggles and smiles at Jaelyn*
Luca: *sniffs and hiccups and is embarrassed now that Iskra has asked him to stop crying* I-I'm sorry... *moves way from her, silent for a moment, then picks his scarf back up dejectedly*
Jaelyn:: -watches as Luca tackles her and luffs all over her- Aww... -smiles at the cuteness- We're both really glad you're okay Iskra... -nears them both and takes her turn to nuzzle Iskra as well-
Iskra: *Giggles and snugs Jaelyn* I can't thank you two enough. *Sniffles, stepping over to Luca to nudge him affectionately* It's okay to cry. :3 I just don't want you to be sad anymore. Is your scarf going to be okay. *frowns*
Jaelyn:: -frowns at the rips in his scarf and feels bad for using it, but at least it saved Iskra's life- I... I think it looks better actually. The rips give it a vintage look... plus, now you have a story to tell. The story of how you saved your friend. Pretty heroic if you ask me. biggrin
Luca: *his ears droop, but hey at least he's not crying anymore* I hope so... But it's more important that you're okay, Iskra. *quickly glances up at her, then at Jaelyn* ...You don't have to make me feel better, Jaelyn... *not like he has anyone to tell the story to, he realizes* Our... friend is alive, that's what matters. *frowns and looks at the two* What were you doing? This is why I don't like to go out and play... It's dangerous.
Iskra: *Stops wagging her tail at his grumpiness.* We were just looking for cool stuff. Ya know, because we were bored. Instead we found a hole. *Frowns.* You know, we could find you a new scarf. *Beams at the idea, wiggling her tail again.* I'm sure we could find something in one of those guardian thickets. >3< Whadya say, Luca? *Nuzzles him.*
Jaelyn:: -sighs and shrugs- Well I think it does look better... just saying... -glances at Iskra and brightens up as she mentions finding him a new scarf.- Yeah! We can all find something! I would love to have something pretty like your guy's stuffs! -bounces with excitement-
