The 'Mop' of the bathhouse scuttled to and fro, first to the tubs with the scrubbing and the cleansing and the salts! Then to the floors with the scuff-marks and the shining and the rubbing. The walls the doors, the customers, the constant pile of filthy clothing and itch of matted fur. It was just the kind of night that Miyabi hated, the kind when they were busy, beyond busy even! Busy to the point that he wanted to nibble his little black nails off in frustration, on a normal day he felt the stress of constant activity being of such a low rank, on abnormal days it was simply unbearable!
His little heart felt like it was racing as they were called to line up, a new crowd had come in and all the clients needed to be attended to properly. With the utmost care and elegance that the Misses bathhouse represented, blah blah blah.. Miyabi slipping between the legs and feet of his fellow workers and standing on tippy-toe just to be noticed. Cursing his own luck for nearly being stepped on AGAIN... The voice of their task master bellowing above all, listing specifics before dismissing them. Apparently they had some very..very important customers coming in tonight. Of course all customers were important, but as Miyabi had learned, it was often that the more gold one had the better paved the road became. Yes, everything was always nicer with money.
His little hands busy being stuck in his sleeves, stumbling as he hurriedly tied his ears up in a sloppy bow. Little feet steadily moving him towards the greeting room, the front doors wide and bustling with business, the sight of all the clients causing his tiny black eyes to go wide, as miyabi found himself staring, wishing that he could be absolutely anywhere else...

Nama stepped on the spiritual realm of this world. She had been hear once before for the Tanbata festival but hardly remembered it due to her lack of soberness the whole night.
Though she remember the Bathhouse, and its luxury to have pleased her enormously on her last visit. Stepping up to the doors she waited, if not a bit impatiently for the doors to be opened to for her. As they did so, she strode herself in and looked around, her eyes searching again like the predator she was for anything that looked even remotely great to eat.
Something caught her eye almost instantly, and set her carnivore instincts on overdrive. It was a little rabbit spirit nervously pacing around the front of the doors as if waiting or avoiding the work he so did not want to be part of. Nama smiled slyly as she made her way over to him, which wasn't hard to do, regardless of the steady stream of customers, she had the air of nobility, arrogance and danger that made the others look or cower away from her, stepping out of her path as she took her long strides.
Though she paid no mind as she swept up to the little rabbit, licking her lips before bending down to catch his attention.
"Little One, I need a table and a server, and since you have per se perked my appetite, i would be very pleased if you did wait on me." She said the words with a seductive purr, she knew how to play this game, her a large predator trying to coax the smaller prey into submission.

Miyabi felt the others presence long before he heard her voice, saw her coming the moment the doors swung open and permitted her entrance, and who wouldn't have noticed? Tall, elegant, obviously powerful, and she had an aura about her permeated the room. The sea of customers parted before her easily, and she hadn't even needed to utter a single word of 'excuse me'.
Miyabi crouched down and stared on as she approached closer, the urge to run overpowered by his fear of being caught by this..this larger spirit, a silly urge to have but it was there! And so instead he froze, from tail to ear tip going still as stone, his little nosed ceased its twitching, his breathing even seemed to stop for a moment, the only thing racing being his tiny heart.
"T-t-t-tabel.." Miyabi's voice, barely a soft squeak as he spoke, feeling suddenly so very overwhelmed. Her frame seemed to completely overshadow him as she knelt closer, making him feel smaller then small. A shiver running up his spine as she mentioned her appetite.."OhgodI'llbeeaten!! Eaten for sure, she wants to EAT ME!! Bu-but shes a customer an-and I..". Miyabi's mind swelled with thoughts, a warring between his training to serve the customers to the best of his ability, and his fear for keeping his hide. Of course one only had to remember the mistress, and she above all things was far more scary then any customer would ever be, especially if she were to find he'd left such a very important customer waiting on the floor with no one to serve her..
"Ah, yes-yes o-of course It'd be my pleasure to w-wait on you miss. Th-though I'm sorry to say that I-I am not on the menu, m-maybe we can find a nice mice dish?" Miyabi stammered, her words so conflicting to her tone, truthfully she had a lovely voice, sweet and soft..something one might snuggle in..but her words, like ice water on a flame those were! "If-if you would I can lead you to your table, a-all is of the finest for our esteemed customers here at the Bathhouse." Miyabi swallowed hard, holding his sleeve covered arms out daintily in the direction of the main hall.

Nama shrugged as she pulled back, Unfortunate for her, but fortunate for the little rabbit, she had only been joking on eating him. Sorta. She almost shook with laughter at the poor rabbits expense and followed his fingers to the man all, where she saw of the finest and most esteemed customers of the spirit realm.
Truthfully she only wanted a quiet spot, tired of the stank of the other spirits, she wrinkled her nose in disgust before quickly smiling at the little spirit.
"I detest Mice little Rabbit," She purred it out, low and a monotone kind of sound. "I would much prefer a good steak, cooked only slightly so that remains red and a bottle of sake." She stood up straight now and tapped her foot, waiting for the rabbit to lead her to the table.
"Come along little one, or i will truly eat you here instead." She purred again before smirking, she like to torture the little beast, purely because it was amusing, and purely because she was a predator, If not for the bathhouse and its rules, she would've chased and gobbled the little rabbit up in a heartbeat.

A tiny sigh slipped through as miyabi quickly hip-hopped alongside his esteemed guest, long ears and sleeves trailing across the floor beside him "O-of course! Mice after all are rather sm-small arent they? N-not at all a meal fit for one such as yourself!" Turning his 'kiss-up' switch to its rightful 'on' position, truly he didn't care a bit what she thought of him! He did care though whether he earned a tip or not, and certainly cared to avoid becoming an appetizer. Which, if he ruined things, he would surely become. Either by the mouth of the lovely lioness, or at the hands of the Mistress...
"Steak? Oh, steak! We happen to serve lovely steaks here, after all we cater to a wide v-variety of guests, from the humble vegetarians to the robust carnivores, and have specialty sake's to go with each dish." Miyabi wanted to bite his tiny tongue, here he was quoting straight out of the manual..all those silly white washed, cooing lines of dribble the task master had driven them to remember.
Tiny black eyes going wide as he realized just how slow he was being, sitting there chatting her up when he should have been busy seating her!! This was why he didn't work in the diner, he was soo forgetful. "E-e-eat, haaa of course your starving, right this way! F-forgive me I'm u-usually not so slow" Miyabi chittered away, eying a plush oaken booth off to the side where the lighting was not so bright, he personally disliked overly lit eating areas, surely she would as well.
His little claws click-click-clicking away as he led her to her seat, head tilted alll the way back just so he could catch her face...she hadn't looked so huge when she'd been kneeling down, and now here she was standing....soo tall..."We ha-have a number of chilled and hot sake's, do you have a preference?"

Nama stared at the little rabbit before letting a small laugh out, he was quite amusing the way he changed his train of thought. "Yes little one, Mice are quite small, i would never eat that small of game not even if i was starving..." Nama almost spat the words out, the one thing she hated was the tiniest of rodents. Most thought just cause she was a Lioness that she would hunt the filthy creatures, but Nama would rather eat and god forbid this, grass then try to swallow down a mouse.
Nama nodded her head as the little rabbit spoke, "Good, i would enjoy your selection then." She shifted impatiently and kept a good natured but dangerous smirk on, if this rabbit didn't get her a booth and or a seat soon, she would really eat him. Be damned that she would lose the bathhouse as a spot to go.
"Starving..." Nama punctuated the word with a growl before frowning. Oddly enough, even on her last hunt she hadn't found anything suitable to eat, her stomach clenched with hunger. No wonder she was eying the rabbit like the next greatest meal on earth.
She followed his gaze to a oaken booth and purred almost in content, the lights we're dim and even secluded from the people. For that the rabbit got bonus points in her book. Even if she hadn't specified the place she wanted to sit, he had read her mind. Or maybe he was just doing as he pleased. Whatever it was, Nama was content.
Nama followed the rabbit to the seat, her long legs and strides ate up the ground. She got stares from other customers but she was to that as she swept herself into the booth. Removing her cape first, she set it on the seat before sitting herself down. As she did do, shifting till she was comfortable, she removed her hat and set it to the side before shaking her orange hair free a bit.
"I prefer mine hot, especially if i am going to be eating meat." Nama purred out as she sat across from the table and eye'd the little server, "Little Rabbit, Did you tell me your name? I fear if i keep calling you 'Little Rabbit' you'll hop away and leave me high and dry here." She smirked at him.

"Oh-mai" Well now she did have quite a distaste for mice didn't she? If only that disgust would extend to larger rodents such as himself Miyabi might not have feared for his fluffy hide so much. Then again, maybe it was all for the best? If he'd been a mouse he never would have gotten the chance to serve her, even if this unique meeting did shave a few years off his after life.
Miyabi was a bit pleased with himself that she seemed to like the seating, or was graciously feigning enjoyment in order to spare his poor withered pride. Either way she seemed comfortable enough to remove her cape..her head-dress..
Miyabi was ashamed to admit that he was one of those caught staring at her. It was terrible of him but he simply couldn't help it! So deadly and beautiful this one was, no more perfect a spirit had he seen! Her hair like a halo of fire befitting her presence, absolutely precise in its cut and not a strand out of place. Her face far more beautiful without the black gauze to cast shadows across it; and the armor simply glowed!
"Uh-uhn?" Starving, beautiful..starving...His name? Miyabi shook himself from his trance, remembering that he had things to tend to, and more importantly that she was asking him questions! Very important things those were. "O-oh m-my name! Oh no madam you don't need too, I-I wouldn't dare to hop away, unless being chased of course, but otherwise I'd not dare!" Miyabi giggled sheepishly, daring to scooch a bit closer to her so he could be heard clearly. "It'd be rude of me if I didn't introduce myself though wouldn't it? I-I am Miyabi, the-ah-the mop of the esteemed mistresses resort."
Miyabi flushed beneath his fur as he quickly muttered off his name to her, normally the customers did not ask. The lady lion was being far to sweet to him, maybe she was trying to make up for being so overwhelmingly terrifying?
"Ehemn, a-anyways, as for the sake if you'd prefer it hot then we have a lovely selection of Kiccho Hozan, I've heard that it goes wonderfully with most meat dishes. Has a very crisp earthy flavor to it!" Miyabi hopped in place a bit, grinning nervously as his ears swayed out behind him. "I-Infact I should go get your order ready n-now shouldn't I, n-no reason too keep you waiting." Miyabi squeaked, realizing that's exactly what he'd been doing..
Rare slightly browned meat, a bottle of hot sake, he could remember that couldn't he? Of course he could!

Nama shifted one leg over the other as she stared at the little rabbit who was apparently...staring at her as well. And quite unabashedly, it would be almost insulting if Nama didn't know that she attracted attention regardless of what she did. Her haired swayed as she rested her elbow on the table and setting her chin in the palm of her hand.
"Little Rabbit, if you keep staring then i would assume you have already fallen in love with me." Nama smiled again, a quick fleeting smirk before she frowned. It almost seemed that he had be entranced and scared at the same time. Her predator instincts went on over drive almost with hunger, Her eyes dialated and her breathing became quick. She was hungry yes, but she would not lose herself to the little rabbits smell. Instead she tried to think of something else before he spoke again.
She evened out her breathing before returning to the smirk. "Yes your name and ha, I have heard of all manners of spirits that run, even if not being chased. I am more concerned with eating right now then to give chase to you....Miyabi." She enunciated his name with a lyrical voice before straightening in her seat.
"I do not care if you are the mop." She waved her hand before listening intently to his selection of sakes and then smiled. Why yes that was exactly what she was interested in, "Ah well then if you know what you are about, I will wait for my order here. Am i allowed to smoke a pipe as well? And does the Bathhouse offer means to fill my tobacco pipe?" She pulled a small pipe, gold and red colored with a intricate design of a lions body, the tip where the tobacco was to be placed was a large golden lion's head in the position of a roar. She smiled at the small pipe, a gift in joke of her being a Lioness.
