Crouching in the tall grass, Mashuhuri was looking for anything that could entertain him for the time being. The leopard stalked a small mouse he spotted a few yard away. Though, in the tall grass, the mouse quickly escaped from him and Mashuhuri skidded to a halt. Sitting on his haunches, the leopard looked around above the grass wondering if anybody was around.
The sun was high in the sky and Mashuhuri decided to find refuge underneath a tall tree. Returning to his sitting position underneath the tree, Mashuhuri scanned the tall grass around him.

She was having a pretty uneventful day. It was normal, by all means. Wander around, eat, take a nap. Though the cheetah didn't really mind being on her own, sometimes she really did get sick of hit! But, as usual, Zyanya was finding other ways to entertain herself. Stalking through the tall grass, not quite hunting anything, just enjoying how well adapted her coat was for hiding in it. Seeing a cheetah outside, in the short grass, one would wonder how their spots managed to hide them so well in a situation like this.
She hadn't really seen Mashuhuri, but she did see the mouse as it tried to escape, and whacked at it playfully. The tiny creature squeaked pitifully, and she frowned, flopping onto her belly and deciding to let it run away. "Hmph, " Oh, her softie heart. She couldn't help but feel a little bad for the rodent.
She sighed, getting up again and seeing there was a better spot to rest for a bit; a tree, she could see it over the grass. She emerged from the tall grass on the opposite side as Mashuhuri, and having become careless due to the uneventful day, managed not to notice him as she flopped into the shade, at the base of the tree. What was one to do on a day like this?

He hadn't expected to see anybody today so he definitely did not see the well hidden cheetah when he had scanned his surroundings. Looking up at the tree, he was debating just lounging around and sleeping the day away. He had already hunted today so he wasn't that hungry.
Leaning up against the tree, Mashuhuri looked around again and he barely noticed the cheetah right next to him. When he did finally notice her, he jumped slightly. "Oh." He regained his composure and greeted her, "Hello!" Looking her over, Mashuhuri noticed her spots and smiled brightly at her. "Sorry, I didn't even notice that you were there." Hoping that he hadn't startled her, Mashuhuri zoned out too easily and should really pay more attention to his surroundings.

Zyanya had almost been falling asleep herself, boredom taking a toll on her quickly. Somehow, she still failed to notice the leopard, even though it'd be great if she had; meant she'd have something to do. Of course, she quickly noticed him when he noticed her. Her head snapped up in surprise, bright green eyes wide to focus on the leopard. "Wu-ah!" Her fur bristled slightly, but quickly settled. Zyanya wasn't really one to be afraid of others. He'd just.. startled her.
"Oh, no, I'm sorry! It's fine!" ... "H.. how long have you been there? " From his reaction, she had snuck up on him somehow.

He couldn't help but admire her green eyes when she finally realized that she wasn't alone. Shaking his head, Mashuhuri returned his attention on the fact that they seemed to both have startled each other. "Awhile actually. Haha." He couldn't help but laugh lightheartedly at the situation. "My name is Mashuhuri. And you are?" He smiled at the cheetah and bowed his head slightly as he greeted her.

Zyanya blinked at this news, somewhat surprised with herself. How had she managed to be so inattentive? Still, she chuckled lightly to herself, before deciding to pay attention to the leopard again. This was great, she had hardly expected to find company any time soon.
"Mashuhuri, I like it." She smiled at him. It was fun enough to say. But she generally liked making the 'sh' sound. "And I'm me." She answered playfully, contemplating whether or not she should just toy with him a bit. She decided he could wait a bit to find out her name. Besides, she kind of liked having this little advantage over him, for now. "What brings a guy like you all the way out here?"

The leopard loved having company once in awhile too and it was a very pleasant surprise for this cheetah to have approached him. He smiled at her compliment and then was a little surprised by her response. Was she playing around with him? Mashuhuri appreciated the chase and it seemed like she was just tempting him now. "Thank you and it's a pleasure to meet you." He was a little rusty when it came to females but it wasn't something you could just forget? He contemplated a response to her question, "I'm not really sure. I was bored and had nothing better to do. How about yourself?"

"Likewise. " She nodded in reply to his first question, then smiled at how her answer could apply for both of them. "It seems we have the same problem, then. " She sighed, though Zyanya wasn't quite as bored as she had been. "I suppose we could remedy at least the bored part. " She purred.
"Care for a game of tag? I'll go easy on you. "

Mashuhuri smiled and looked at her curiously wondering what she was thinking. Sometimes he wished that he could read minds, that would save so him so much trouble especially when it came to females. He could never tell what they were thinking or plotting.... It was clear that he didn't have much expertise in this area.
"Yeah?" Tag.... with a cheetah. It wasn't a matter of if he won or not; it was a matter of when. "Sure why not." He definitely wasn't going to impress anybody with his speed but hopefully it would humor her for a bit. The leopard jumped up and sprinted back into the tall grass; after a second, he realized that it was the worst thing he could have done. He wouldn't see her coming until she was right next to him and his deep red coat stuck out like a sore thumb. Oh well, Mashuhuri slowed his pace a little and looked around wondering where she was.

Zyanya grinned, happy that she'd managed to find someone willing to play some child's game with her. Because really, she could act all mature and lovely, but she was kind of a big kid. She laughed as he hurried into the grass, and followed more calmly. She'd give him a bit of a head start, due to her advantage in speed.
She was also quick to notice the same thing as Mashuhuri, after trotting a bit to catch up, he did stick out quite a bit. She loped after him, keeping her movements smooth, since her spotted coat could only help her so much. She got as close as she could without being ridiculous; he wasn't blind, after all. And once satisfied, hopped out to touch her nose to his shoulder, ready to shout out a tag and then run if she made contact.

He really was a child at heart and when it came to fun and games he was up for it all. He felt that being serious all of the time would actually shorten his life span so he tried to have fun as much as possible. It was all about balance.
Mashuhuri kept running hoping that he could elude her somehow and he began to hear her steps getting closer and closer to him. Thankfully he wasn't competitive or else this would be a horrible game for him to play. Turning around quickly, he was too late and he felt her tap his shoulder before he could even react. The leopard skid to a halt and turned around to playfully tackle her.

Zyanya laughed, attempting to bounce away from the pounce but ending up caught and tumbling to the floor. "Hey! That's not how you play tag! " She pawed at his shoulders, trying to get clear enough so she could run away. "I have to run first, then you can pin me. " If he caught her, anyways. She'd probably let him after some time, but now was too soon!
"If you play fair and square, and catch me, I might even tell you my name. " Maybe. Probably~

Mashuhuri grinned and rolled off of her; he was a little concerned about how he was going to catch her but he welcomed the challenge. "Alright." Regaining his composure and sitting on his haunches, he waited until she was out of sight until he got up to pursue her. He was definitely curious to know her name so he would do his best to catch her. The best way of doing that was outsmarting her... if that was possible. Underestimating your opponent was never a good idea.

Once free, Zyanya was quick to spring to her feet and bolt through the grass, laughing slightly. She'd trot around and keep her ears pricked for a bit, ready to flee if he jumped out of anywhere. But, not after too long, Zyanya was easing up. She wanted to be caught, eventually. So soon enough she was running more slowly, and being less subtle (stepping on a few twigs, and the like).
Still, she stayed alert. Couldn't make it too easy, anyways. She'd probably want to give him a bit of a chase once he caught up.

The picked up into a sprint and tried to see if he could catch sight of the golden spotted cheetah. The leopard's ears flickered as he began to hear her obvious 'hints' and he moved towards the sounds wondering if she was just toying with him. He knew that he couldn't get too close or she would spot him so he needed to move fast once he caught sight of her. As soon as he spotted Zyanya, Mashuhuri sprinted towards her wondering if the element of surprise was on his side.
