I was laying out in my mom's yard at dusk just daydreaming and thinking and (I might sound a bit dumb for not realizing this sooner) I noticed that the moon and the sun were out. Granted I know that both of them come out at the same time at dusk before, sure, but I thought sbout it and was like "Goddess and the God [symbols/representatives/however one sees them] out together..." And I thought that it would be a GREAT time for rituals/spells/meditation/ect. Call it my epiphany of the summer xd .

The moon actually rises at various times during the day, not just at dusk. You can check out your local moonrise times though the USNO site. Even though it's a fairly common occurrence, I still think it's pretty cool when they are both out at the same time.

I love to see them both out at the same time, it feels magical. I normally say a little prayer, or just pay my respects to them and get on with my day though. I never actually sat down and did anything fancy.

Wow, I didn't think I would get too many replies too fast =).
too2sweet: Thanks for the link. I see it at other times too, it was just at dusk when this thought struck me.
