As Bruce Wayne took d**k Grayson as his ward and sidekick. The first Robin, before Jason or Tim. Training night after night to protect Gotham, from it's daily criminal.

During today d**k flashed back in the times when he was Robin....
Many years back...
"Hey Bruce, what are we doing today?" He asked in his high voice. During his time when he was a young Robin, his voice wasn't deep enough. So he sounded more childish than mature.

d**k reminded him of himself when he was young and happy. Before that night, that night that changed everything. He walked over to d**k, and gave him another smile.

"Yeah...Robin..." He went over to the Grandfather clock, using the dial and opening the door to the cave. Then walking down the stair's and waiting for d**k.

He rushed down the stairs and grabbed his work out clothes and changed behind a privacy wall. When he stepped out he was in his karate suit, waiting for Bruce, he went to the boxing ring and practiced the teachings of Bruce he taught him the day before.

As Bruce got into the ring with his gear on he looked at Grayson, wondering if he was crazy for bringing a child into his war. Now d**k was his soldier. He went into his karate stance.

d**k bowed before they fought, he then went to fighting stance. For his first move he let out a tall kick to Bruce's chest.

Bruce caught his foot, then flipped him on his stomach. Then looked at him and said. "Stay sharp."

"Yes, sir." He said getting back on his feet and launched a quick combo of punches, the third combo was a flip-kick aiming directly at Bruce's chin. He caught his balance back on his feet.

Bruce got kicked by him in the chin, then tumbled a bit. He looked at d**k, and knew he had something special, then smiled.
