~Accepted Character Profiles~ Blackthorn Residents

• Name: Seth Tucker
• Age: 29
• Gender: Male
• Species: Iberian Wolf
• Personality: Uptight and serious, Seth is introverted and dislikes socializing with others for long periods. He gets cranky fairly easily, and is rather ageist towards teenagers. If you manage to become close friends with him, he'll loosen up a little and grin every now and then.
• Brief Background Summary: Seth was born in a distant, isolated place known as Feather Cove, far from Blackthorn. Working as a cargo and passenger driver with a close friend, several events occurred which forced him to move into the small town of Blackthorn. He was then labeled as the Sheriff of Blackthorn due to his gun-wielding abilities and combat. Unfortunately for Seth, he wasn't keen on having the role. He was forced into the position by the towns folk. About a year later, he was assigned a Deputy, trying to keep him in order and out of trouble. Seth also refuses to tell the people in his town why he has several scars and burns all over his left eye and arms. The majority of the time when he's on duty or trying to slip away from the Deputy, he resorts to running to the town's bar.

• Personality: She's spunky. She knows what she wants and how she's gonna get it, and will talk your ear off in the process. Although she is friendly to others, she isn't trusting, and relies only on three people: The sheriff, her brother, and the gunsmith/doctor/store owner. And don't call her short. She will take you out at the knees and kick you in the face.
• Brief Background Summary: AJ was born far away from Blackthorn, in the Northern recesses of Mobius. What prompted her to move to Blackthorn is still a mystery, but she moved here when she was about fifteen. Some speculate it was trouble at home, or that her home was raided. But either way, she's serving as the Deputy to the Sheriff now, and she tries to keep the streets alive with good times and good drink. Of course, that doesn't keep things the way they should be. She recently lost a fight, and her face has been scarred up pretty bad. It does make her look just a little fiercer than she's known to be.

• Personality: William is a laid-back, chill guy who always keeps an open mind about everything. He's very easy to trust and people open up to him whether they want to or not. He's always friendly and knows everybody around town on a first-name basis. If you buy a glass from him, he's more than happy to listen to the story of your life and all of your woes, and he'll maybe even tell you a story himself. He's usually okay with most things that happen, but god help you if you start a fight in his bar.
• Brief Background Summary: As far as most people know, William has been the barkeep of Blackthorn's bar, The Hanged Bandit, for 20 years. Further back than that, no one knows, and William is very intent on keeping it that way. One can assume he's travelled very far, since he has a lot of stories to tell. He makes it his business to know most things around town by listening to people talk while they're drinking and almost always has a pretty good idea what's going on with most people's personal lives. He's never seen without his bowler hat and a hand-rolled cigarette in the corner of his mouth.

• Abilities: Can hold his liquor, don't even try to outdrink him.
Is at his best with a hunting rifle, and has a rifle under the disk of his bar.
Great with people.
Makes the best ale you've ever tasted.
Never judges anyone.

He can be gruff and unapproachable to the wandering townsfolk, but once you get to know him, he's a pretty fun guy. Of course, he likes his lady friends more than just a little...
• Brief Background Summary: Starsky's been here as long as we can remember. Always the town goof, the trouble making kid. The wild child. Course, that all changed when he went off to start a life of his own. He saddled up a horse and took off into the sunset. Four days later, he came crawling back, missing an entire leg. Turns out the bandits had gotten a hold of the youngster, and then the coyotes did too. Worst days of his life. He got patched up real nice, with a fancy new metal leg that he can wiggle around. He's paying off his debt to the surgeon by working in his general store. It's a small town, someone's gotta keep things running smoothly. He live across the street to the Jailhouse, which almost explains his friendship with the law folk around here.

• Personality: Spinne is modest and tries to keep to herself at all times, normally trying to ignore anyone that is around her. Even so, that doesn't mean she wont try to help anyone out if they get themselves in trouble. She cant let things go easily, and will constantly bicker and complain, and even try to get revenge for whatever wrong doing you did to her.
Despite being private herself she can get a bit nosy around her neighbors, which led her to her demise.
• Brief Background Summary:Back then, Spinne was an immigrant from Germany when she came into this land with her Mother and siblings. After some years, she finally moved out and traveled along the states.
Tired, she went into the nearest town which was Blackthorn and spent the night there. During her stay for the night, she heard voices in one of the rooms of the Inn. Curious, Spinne investigated what was going on. When she entered her neighbors room, someone smashed her head open. Her body was found the next day, with some other corpse that was also killed that night.
Enraged, she could not past on into the next life and stayed in Blackthorn. Walking the streets of the town, looking for the person that killed her. Unknowingly that her murderer left along time ago. Spinne is stuck now, still continuing to refuse peace.

• Abilities: As a ghost she can faze through walls, and send peoples temperatures to freezing cold when she passes through them. Her looks can strike certain mobians dead in their tracks when she does pass through them. Spinne can also lift light object up and throw them at people when in the night hours

Gruesome Gary's Gangaka The Red Plague

• Name: Gary Talon, aka "Gruesome Gary"

• Personality: Cocky and loud, Gary has become a rather attention-seeking character. He's known for his murderous rampages and Lady-killer personality. Although Gary has his own gang known as the Red Plague, he has an easy and wild tendency to back-stab his own crew. If it means him surviving or getting any women and gold with his greed, he'll by all means kill his own men.
• Brief Background Summary: There is very little knowledge of the outlaw's past life. All we can truly say is how he's robbed and pillaged dozens of towns blind, and that he wishes to obtain gold just to keep himself entertained.

• Personality: Don Juan, as he likes to be called, has a demeaning personality. He's sadistic and cruel, also serving as a right hand man to Gruesome Gary, or as he likes to call him, "Big Papi". He gives nicknames out to everyone, whether he's gonna eat you or not, and usually they stick. Even if you don't like them. He's notorious for the manner in which he leaves his calling card, a large smile drawn with a victim's own blood. It takes a lot for him to do this, considering it's half of his diet.
• Brief Background Summary: Don Juan Triumphant came to the Westwind valley about ten years ago. No one knows how old he was when he got here, or how old he is now. He's a no good outlaw with no sense of decency. He looks the same as he ever has, and some people have seen him even eating people alive. Some speculate he steals their life to use as his own. Either way, we know he's working for Gruesome Gary and the like. He's been running through the nearby towns like no one's business, all ways two steps ahead of the law.

• Personality: A bit jittery and extroverted, Ross isn't entirely labeled as the bravest soul around. When surrounded by peers, he'll try to mask his personality and appear tough and intimidating - but when trouble comes along, he's the first to dive for cover. He will stand up and fight if it's a last case scenario, but in most situations he'll keep a reasonable distance away from those that bother him, or he'll try to socially slip away from the situation. Ross is also INCREDIBLY superstitious, and believes in supernatural beings.
• Brief Background Summary: Born and raised in Feather Cove, Ross worked in his family's blacksmith shoppe. At the age of 17, his town was attacked by bandits, (rumored to be Witches) forcing his family to escape and leaving the shoppe to burn down. About a week after the attack, he joined the Red Plague to search for his family and in hopes of earning some cash to build a new Shoppe. After clinging to the gang for a bit, Ross became desensitized to the point where he doesn't mind taking the life of a Mobian.

• Abilities: Armed with a hunting rifle and is a great sharp-shooter from a distance. He's also armed with several crosses, holy water bottles and daggers against any supernatural creatures he may encounter. Has a vast knowledge on the supernatural as well and knows the signs when encountering one.
• Weaknesses: Isn't very brave and has a tendency to avoid eye contact or jump for cover if things intimidate him to a degree. Terrible close combat due to his cowardliness and prefers to take down enemies from a distance. The rifle he uses also does not work well close range, and needs to stay still or position it carefully before firing.

• Personality: Incredibly monotone, this character barely shows any emotions besides anger. He's usually considered introverted and has a very disgusting sense of humour towards peers. He's also incredibly blunt and will tell the honest truth unless something is on the line.
• Brief Background Summary: There isn't too much known about Roth. He's been in the Red Plague group for some time now and has a tendency to harass Ross on occasion. Roth and Gary have been partners for years now.

• Abilities: Incredibly large upper torso, causing him to take quite a few bullet rounds. Also has huge arms and hands for brutal close combat, and has been known to tear down jail cell walls with just his fists.

It was now Illario's job to corner the girl once he had gotten rid of anybody in his way

Newly Arrived Wanderers

• Personality: Extremely introverted and is very keen on keeping people out of his personal space, as he severely dislikes being touched. Edward remains aggressive and suspicious towards all strangers, and even if you do get close enough to get to know him, he remains fairly uptight. He's very easy to anger. Very friendly towards children.
• Brief Background Summary: Edward was originally from somewhere far away from Westwind Valley, but he refuses to say from where. He's spent most of his life travelling around on his own, eventually landing a job transporting cargo and people to various towns together with someone, who to this day, remains his only friend. An unfortunate event landed him without a job and without a heartbeat, and he's now in a desperate search to finish the business that's keeping him in this world. Edward refuses to take off the scarf he has covering his face, even though it causes most people to assume he's an outlaw.

• Brief Background Summary: The last witch in her bloodline, Carrie had been avoiding assassination for years. She remains on the run till this day, since Illario is the one that keeps coming after her in order to destroy every last witch there is. Because of this, Carrie had now made it her top priority to get rid of him before Illario can get rid of her.

• Personality: Despite what you'd expect from a doctor, he's not exactly a friendly, personable, caring type. Maybe he was at one point, but he's become very cynical and is prone to sarcasm. He sometimes seems older than he is, and he's learned the hard way to repress his emotions. Still, there are somethings that can break his stoicism. He couldn't care less that Saiz is a witch, except that it makes excellent leverage.
• Brief Background Summary: A doctor from the East, he was making quite a bit of money with his practice. However, his life came to a screeching halt when his wife was lynched for "consorting with witches." The incident left him somewhat broken, and when the mob turned to him, he fled. Saiz is the only other person who knows what happened, as he just tells people he's a wanted man.

• Abilities: He's a doctor, and thus knows how to treat a wide variety of injuries and illnesses. Not much of a sharpshooter, but he knows how to operate and maintain a gun. He can fly, although only for short distances, and seems to prefer traveling over ground anyway.
• Weaknesses: He's not built for fighting, constantly running low on medical supplies due to being located in the middle of nowhere.

• Personality: An odd mix of cockiness and scowling at everything around him. He's highly combative, frequently picking fights for no real reason. He seems devoid of both fear and sense at times, although Elliot can reign him in fairly easily.
• Brief Background Summary: Also originally from the East. He comes from a line of witches. In fact, his parents were the very witches Elliot's wife was accused of consorting with. Both his and Elliot's families had historical ties to each other, and Elliot knows they were witches. After the incident, he was informally adopted by Elliot who dragged him along to keep him from getting killed as well. However, his invincible teenager attitude means he has little but ressentment for it.

• Abilities: Limited black magic and bits of medical knowledge picked up from both Eliot and his late parents. He's learned to use a gun, but he lacks knowledge of properly maintaining firearms. Mostly, he relies on his fists, which have yet to let him down.
• Weaknesses: Rash, quick to anger, and kept on a fairly short leash by Elliot. Additionally, he has the standard set of witch weaknesses.

• Personality: Axel is very laid back, and happy-go-lucky. Anger and sadness rarely come across her, and is willing to cheer anyone up if they feel down, even if she fails at it. She is not a mean person, but may end up being offensive and rude without knowing what she did. From decomposing, she has become quite stupid and can be confused easily.
• Brief Background Summary: Axel has little to no memory on how she became this way. Over time her mind rotted away, and she had forgotten her purpose on why she is still alive. Even so, she goes about on living as if she still has it. Searching for something that needed to be finished, but then was interrupted by her death. From her travels in searching for whatever she was looking for, she had ended up in Blackthorn, and has been staying there for quite awhile.

• Abilities: Cant feel pain and has enhanced hearing.
• Weaknesses: Nearly blind, and lacks common sense and brains. She is also very slow and cant move fast mentally and physically.

• Brief Background Summary: Sam’s life was great and perfect with no problems until her mother and father went into a massive project when she was little. At 7 years old, she lost her mother and had to live with her father. Her father had a secret that she knew about Sam. She had her mother’s powers dormant inside her. Her father then brought them out when she was 9. He then showed Sam how to use her new powers correctly. She became a great fighter with her powers when she turned 12. Someday, she can control her powers that she cannot unlock and find out how to control such powers.
In battle, she is very well with close, powerful light attribute attacks and uses her air powers to assist her and to balance her battles to her favor.

• Abilities: Light magic. Controls air to her will.
• Weaknesses: Sam has problems with far-away attacks in fights because of her abilities. Her abilities are weaker in the distance. Plus, she can only use her abilities with her hands. If she cannot move her hands, then she cannot perform her air attacks. She doesn’t have a lot of force if she is distracted by something or someone that reminds her of her mother. Her powers could go out of control if she is extremely mad at someone. Her powers at its peak, she cannot control it. That is her biggest flaw.

In fact, she will only face a problem head-on it's the only option or the best option. Though she won't go too far out of her way to help someone, she considers herself a decent person, ignoring the dubious legality of some of her actions
• Brief Background Summary: When Sam was young, her father worked for a rancher. Not herding cows, but stealing them from other ranchers in the area. He was caught, and would have been hanged had he not vanished without a before they could get a noose around his neck. Ten years later, Sam found herself in much the same position, though she'd managed to avoid getting arrested. She fled south to avoid capture, disguising herself as a man when she realized how much easier that made things. Somewhere in Mexico, she met Ruby in an incident involving a brothel, ten pounds of oranges, and a live alligator. Both of them refuse to elaborate, but said incident prompted them both to leave Mexico.

• Abilities: A good shot with a rifle, and to a lesser extent, a revolver. She's good with horses and knows how to herd cattle. She has very good reflexes and is a quick runner.

• Personality: Wave is a very calm and calculative person. With the aid of his bounty hunter skills, he has become strong enough to prevent his own cowardice from making him run away. When he is given a bounty to claim, Wave isn’t the kind of person to do whatever it takes to capture it. That being said, however, he gets enough information to make calculated guesses on how to round up the bounty without much trouble. Outside of the bounty world, Wave is a kind person and doesn’t push people into doing anything. While he might come off as an arrogant a** to some folk, it’s not that he’s trying to but more that he just gives off the feeling.
• Brief Background Summary: As a kid, Wave was always fascinated with the stories and tales of the brave bounty hunters, a group of people who carried a sense of justice greater than most others. By the time he reached the proper age, he joined up with a small group in an attempt to learn the ways of these people. The first thing he noticed, however, was how much of a coward he was. To him, it seemed that running was all he was good at… Eventually, he learned most of what they could teach him and had him work on some bounties. These bounties were meant to be small fry, something that Wave could easily handle on his own. What they didn’t know was that one of them happened to be a nasty vampire. It was the first target Wave wasn’t able to take down, and also the target that gave him the nasty scar on his chest. From that day onward, Wave’s cowardice began to fade after having been so close to Death’s door. Now, with around three years of experience under his belt, Wave has received not much of a bounty as it is to a request. He travels the landscape, trying to find the woman and child a caravan had failed to bring back home, in hopes that they still remain alive…
• Good, Neutral or Evil?: He’s a good guy, but has to play the neutral part as a bounty hunter.
• Abilities:
- Super Speed : Wave is a man who enjoys moving as much as possible. From the point where he could remember to the days now, he has always kept himself in a fit state as well as trained his body with running exercises. With that said, Wave has managed to increase his speed and stamina about four-fold, allowing him to run faster than the average Mobian. He still can’t dodge a bullet, but damn is it hard to hit him to begin with!
- Dead Shot : As a sniping bounty hunter, Wave has learned how to use his rifle in a more effective way. Aside from creating a make-shift scope for better aiming, if Wave balances the end of the rifle barrel against his arm in a way not meant to be done, his aim increases substantially allowing him to make the most out of the ‘impossible’ shots.
- Specialized Ammo : Since he’s been a bounty hunter for at least three years now, Wave has encountered all kinds of bounties. At the same time, he’s encountered quite a few supernatural in the process. To better combat them, he found someone who could create ammo made with various effects to help out. Aside from Normal Ammo, he has Holy Ammo (meant for the vampires and witches), Spectral Ammo (meant for ghosts), and Force Ammo (serves as a better way to dispatch undead instead of Normal.
- Melee Combat : While Wave is more of a sniper than a melee specialist, all good bounty hunters know that they will be put in a dire situation with their worse traits on the table. As such, he carries a pistol and a combat knife, and has trained himself to be somewhat decent in melee combat.
• Weaknesses:
- Frail Body : Ever since receiving the scar from that vampire, Wave’s health has been slowly deteriorating. Most likely because he never had it cleaned and dressed properly… At certain points, sometimes in the worse possible moments, Wave literally falls prone into a coughing hack and unable to perform any action whatsoever.
- Melee Combat : Although Wave has trained himself in this category to be somewhat decent, melee range is still his worst aspect. That being said, anyone being within arms reach of him is more likely to win a fight against him.
- S. Ammo Creation : Even though Wave knows a few people who can craft the special ammo for him, the material measurements and calculations of combination are still beyond his grasp. That said, although he holds the recipes for each one, he can’t create them by himself.
