A cool night had dawned upon the land, the wind was tumbling around the trees in horrible gusts, sending frightening shadows soaring across the ground. Illumise however traveled tonight on the occassion of admiring the lilac coated scenery. Usually she was a light-bug but she had heard many wondrous and beautiful things about the night and so far, other than the whipping breeze they had been true. It wasn't dark enough to engulph the land in a blinded blanket of charcoal but just enough so you could see the more amazing things glitter in the moonlight and to be able to find your way.
She settled on taking elegant steps towards the boarder of the forest, her purple curls bouncing gently against her neck, her wings beating together leaving a starlit trail behind her.
Looking in to the forest but having no intentions to enter, she flicked her innocent gaze around, making out the pretty things and disregarding the unfriendly with a content smile on her face. She wished she had seen this side to the land sooner and the peace just made her feel at one with the earth beneath her delicate hooves.
The only thing that aquaired her attention more than the flowers and the stars was a tiny rustle, in a bush right by her side. Her sky blue eyes lowered, blinking in their confusion as she made a clueless face, mouth circled in thought. Closing the further distance between her self and the bush, she lowered her head curiously and poked her nose inside it, ruffling through the branches and leaves until, surprisingly feeling a warm body on the other side.
