The Information:
Okay, the rules of this Forum are rather different from the rest, as here you are allowed to make your own bases to be safe in, except, you must make a thread and title it WIP, then you must RP going into the town and finding the tools and materials needed to build your base, because of this the most your Base will be is a wooden shack, possibly with a fence built around it to be safe, but you must also then PM a Mod informing them you have built said base. There is a post requirement for said base to be made, but if it is a base for a group, you may share the post requirement between the entire group. Please do not include an encouter rule, we as mods will install that part into your thread after it is made.Please Note: The base can only be a wooden shack; like the size of a small/medium shed; about 2.5 meters in width and length; and 2 meters in height to begin with. Summary:
1- You're allowed a base here. 2- You must name the thread "WIP". 3- You must RP in the town getting the tools/materials to build said base. 4- You must post the required ammount of words to build the base. 5- PM a mod informing us of the base being made. 6- The requirement can be shared between a group. 7- Do not post a Encounter Rule, the mods will do this part. 8- You CANNOT cash in the 2500 words for stats.

Base Expansion Rules:
Okay so this section here; is about how your base can be expanded to be much greater in size; as well as safer having traps etcetera. So pay close attention as each different expansion; has different requirements; some of which you may not be able to fulfil.
Size Expansion:
Size Upgrade V1: This expansion increases the size of your wooden shed/shack from its original lengths and heights. Not by allot but is a great start. Your shed/shack can now be expanded by an extra 1.5 meters in length and width; as for the height; it can be increased by an extra 1 meter. With these added; your shack/shed's dimensions can now be L 4m x W 4m x H 3m.
Requirements:
[x] Requires at least Two People to perform this first upgrade.
[x] You must RP obtain the materials needed for the expansion of your Wooden Shed/Shack; out in the towns. - At least 1000 Words. [x] Then you must come back and RP increasing the shed/shack's size. - 1500 Words.
Size Upgrade V2: This expansion increases the size of your wooden shed/shack from its lengths and widths of the first upgrade. Not by allot though. Your shed/shack can now be expanded by another extra 1 meter in length and width; as for the height; it can not be increased. With these added; your shack/shed's dimensions can now be L 5m x W 5m x H 3m.
Requirements:
[x] Requires at least Two People to perform this first upgrade.
[x] You must RP obtain the materials needed for the expansion of your Wooden Shed/Shack; out in the towns. - At least 1000 Words. [x] Then you must come back and RP increasing the shed/shack's size. - 1500 Words.
Material Upgrade:
Material Upgrade: This expansion allows you to upgrade the material your shack was originally made from; allowing you to now first obtain Corrugated Steel Sheets to be used to improve the strength of the walls; the steel sheets can be painted if you wish to a more blending colour for the surroundings.
Requirements:
[x] Requires at least Three People to perform this first upgrade. [x] Requires somebody to be in the Engineer Club with at least 25 Intelligence to perform this upgrade.
[x] You must RP obtain the materials needed for the upgrade of your Wooden Shed/Shack to a steel shack; at the warehouse district. - At least 1000 Words. [x] Then you must come back and RP applying the steel sheets to the shack. - 1500 Words.
Ground Floor Room Upgrade:
Room Upgrade: This expansion allows you to essentially create another shack/shed and attach it directly onto the side of the first shack. Each room created must first be made out of wood; and be the same size as your current first room. So if you first upgraded your first room to the maximum size; then this room may also be of the same upgraded size; but you must follow the material upgrade system for each room you wish to be re-enforced with the Steel Sheets.
Requirements:
[x] Requires at least Three People create an extra room. [x] This can only be done Three Times.
[x] You must RP obtain the materials needed for the room upgrade . - At least 1000 Words. [x] Then you must come back and RP building the extra room. - 1500 Words.
First Floor Upgrade:
Ground Floor Support Upgrade: This expansion allows you to first reinforce the ground floor of your shack using Scaffolding to support the ground floors structure; both inside and outside. Of which the scaffolding can be obtained in the Warehouse District.
Requirements:
[x] Requires at least Five People to reinforce the structure.. [x] Requires somebody to be in the Engineer Club with at least 50 Intelligence to perform this upgrade.
[x] You must RP obtain the materials needed for the structure support upgrade obtained from the Warehouse District. - At least 1500 Words. [x] Then you must come back and RP installing the scaffolding. - 1500 Words.
First Floor Room Creation: This expansion allows you to create another four rooms on top of your ground floor; although you do not have to create all four rooms; maybe only create three; and allow one area empty to be used as a viewing platform. What ever size your ground floor rooms are built to; your first floor rooms may also be the same. But to have the steel sheets to strengthen their walls; you will have to once again use the same system as you have had to for all other rooms.
Requirements:
[x] Requires at least Three People to create the rooms.. [x] This can only be done Four Times.
[x] You must RP obtain the materials needed for the room upgrade . - At least 1000 Words. [x] Then you must come back and RP building the extra room. - 1500 Words.

Miscellaneous Upgrades:
Okay so this section here; is about how your base can protected through the use of traps; fencing; pits etcetera; so read closely.
Trap Expansions:
Pit-Fall Trap: This trap; although very effective; as "They" cannot climb; well the Normal "Them" anyway; it can easily fill up quickly; and become a hazard more than a safety measure; and so this should only be installed if you have a safe means of clearing the pit of "Them" when ever possible. The pit should be about 3 meters deep; and 2 meters wide; covered over with thin branches covered in leaves.
Requirements:
[x] Requires at least Two People to dig this trap.
[x] You must obtain a shovel from in town; no word requirement to find a shovel. [x] Then you must come back and RP digging the pit and getting the branches and covering them in leaves etcetera. - 1000 Words.
Spike Pit: This trap; is somewhat of an upgrade of your Pitfall-Trap as using Bamboo spikes created through the use of a machete or other strong bladed item will raise the chances of Killing "Them"; with a possible chance of the spikes skewering "Their" heads/brains. If you decide to make one of these pits; following the design dimensions of the Pit-Fall Trap; it is also recommended that you use a visual sign; to signal that it is in fact a Spike Pit and not just a normal Pit Fall Trap.
Requirements:
[x] Requires at least TwoPeople to dig this pit and cut the bamboo/install the bamboo..
[x] You must obtain a shovel from in town; no word requirement to find a shovel. [x] Then you must come back and RP digging the pit and getting the branches and covering them in leaves etcetera as well as sharpening the bamboo and installing it at the bottom of the pit. - 1500 Words.
Spike Pit: This isnt so much as a trap; as it is a safety defensive measure; basically; after obtaining Chain Link Fencing panels from the Warehouse District; you will then proceed to set up a fenced perimeter around your base. These Chain Link Fencing Panels; are about 3 Meters High.
Requirements:
[x] Requires at least Three People to set up the fencing.
[x] You must obtain the Fencing Penels from the Warehouse District. - 750 Words. [x] Then you must come back and RP installing the fencing. - 2000 Words.
Trench/Moat: This trap; although very effective; as "They" cannot climb; well the Normal "Them" anyway; it can easily fill up quickly; and become a hazard more than a safety measure; and so this should only be installed if you have a safe means of clearing the Trench/Moat of "Them" when ever possible. Now unlike the Pit-Fall Trap; this will be on a much grander scale; as it is supposed to surround your entire base/shack; and so this should be done after all upgrades to the actual shack are completed; and then give the base a 5 meter free space around it for people to patrol; so take into account that your base's length can be varied in length and width; dig this Trench to fit your base's needs.
Example: If you've made your base a generic Square; so that would be two rows of two rooms connected together; the length and widths of this base would be 10 meters; now add another 5 meters to each side and you have 20 meters by 20 meters; this is your safe zone and should not be dug into; but after marking out your safe zone; feel free to dig your trench; remember 3 meters deep but instead of two meters wide; a recommended 3 or 4 meters wide from the safe zone to the other size of the trench is recommended; so whilst digging this trench have a ladder ready; also I recommend having a largish plank of wood for those that will be unable to jump this gap. Just remember this will require allot of work.

[x] You must obtain a shovel from in town; no word requirement to find a shovel. [x] Then you must come back and RP digging the pit and getting the branches and covering them in leaves etcetera. - 3000 Words.
