This is the one of Kyoto's residential estate, now although this may prove a safe haven for those who barricade themselves in a house, now whislt you encounter "Them" on a less regualr basis, when you do encounter them you'll encounter like a hoard, as well staying in a Residential area when there are "Them" wondering, is rather stupid.
Encounter Rule: Every 15 posts, say there are fifthteen of you, after the fiftheenth person has posted then this action will be done; role a single 6 sided dice, if it lands on a 2, 3, 4 or 6 you'll encounter 20 of "Them".

RING! RING! RING! RING! .... The sounds of an alarm pealed out into the air as the sleepy headed, American boy rose up from his slumber and then slapped the digital alarm clock that sat on the end table. "Must I always set the alarm for this early?" It wasn't early at all, but time didn't matter as much anymore. It was the end of the world so why would one worry about the time of the day? Hell, why would anyone even care about what day it was? This boy right here is exactly what I'm talking about. This is Colbert Phillip Peregrina, but more commonly known as Sherbert. He's a foreign exchange student from California, who also happens to be a member of Kyoto High School's Engineering Club, just like he was back in the United States.
"Alright, so I might as well head out... Man, I was having an awesome dream..." The American boy hopped out of bed and stood up tall to stretch, not caring that he was completely in the buff. He did a couple stretches for his morning routine and then put on some underwear. He sat on his bed and reached out to his left to grab hold of a large, metallic object that was against the wall. It was a monkey wrench that he hand taken out of the Engineering Club's room. "Man, I'm glad that I brought this baby along with me or else I never would have gotten inside." One of the windows was broken so that Sherbert could get into the bedroom. He then pushed a dresser in front of it so that "they" couldn't get inside and attack him in his sleep. Though, that would work forever. He knew that eventually, "they" would find a new way to get inside and then "they" would get him if he stayed there for too long.
Sherbert would put on his tank top, or "wife beater" as his friends back home called them, and then he slipped on his cargo pants. Once he grabbed his monkey wrench, he would walk through the house. The place was already cleaned out so he couldn't really loot anything out of it except for furniture or some useless junk that was left behind, like an old phonograph that was probably a family treasure or something. Sherbert would open up a crawlspace in the closet and then pull himself up into it. There was just barely enough light in there for him to tell that the place was clear and none of "them" were lurking inside. He made his way through until he found a small window. He was about to break it until he noticed that it had a latch on it. He gave it a good push and the window swung open. It led to a part of the roof that he could easily rest on top of, so he did.
It was peaceful up there. None of them were lurking around and the few that Sherbert could see from his position were just wandering aimlessly through the streets. "Man, what did I do to deserve this? God can't really be that cruel, can he?" Sherbert hung his head low for a moment and absorbed the situation. He knew that he would make it out of this place alive or die fighting. He just didn't seem to like his odds. He was one boy and there were countless of "them" around, especially at night. On top of that, Sherbert had very few friends that were alive before that virus hit Kyoto. Most of them were from the Engineering club anyway so there was little point in finding them. When the cirus first hit, he and some other members of the club barricaded themselves in the club room, while the rest of the members went ahead and left. It was unlike that any of those members survived. One by one, the others left the club room and said that they would call for help. None of them returned and help never arrived. Eventually, Sherbert was the only one left in the club room. He would just sleep away his time. It was surprising safe in there, though. However, last night, he knew that he wouldn't be able to last very long in there without getting food. He left that night to find some extra shelter outside of the high school and would grab some food and water. He didn't find anything worth bringing with him back to his club, but he did manage to satiate his needs for a night. He would be able to survive a few more days on what he had eaten last night.
Sherbert flopped onto his back and then just stared up at the sky. It was peaceful to look up at the stars and just let your mind wander. However, Sherbert's mind wandered into darker places when he did this. He couldn't help but think about what his family would do if he never came back. He was a family man and was supposed to look after his grandparents once he got his career started. He didn't want to ever leave them alone. Along with that, he thought about how he had just lost quite a few friends. Toshiro, Yuri, and Akane were all killed two nights ago and turned into "them" soon afterward. The only person that Sherbert knew was still alive was Reiko Hayabusa. Sherbert and Reiko really weren't well acquainted, but they knew each other. Sherbert also knew that Reiko wouldn't go down fight one hell of a fight and had managed to find a temporary shelter somewhere nearby. Maybe once he was ready, Sherbert would head out to find Reiko. The two of them together would make a good team if they were going to survive in this world that was pretty similar to hell.
Sherbert shook off his bad thoughts and he redirected his mind to one of the things that always made him feel better; music was that thing. Sherbert was quite the metal head and he did pride himself as a pretty good musician. He played the guitar and could hold his own as a drummer, but his forté was his work on the lead, unclean vocals for the "post-hardcore" genre or in the death metal genre. The tall, blonde, American boy would lay his wrench down next to him, ensuring that the position was safe for it not to fall off of the roof. He would start tapping his fingers against the shingles of the house and then would imagine the heavy guitar and the drums booming as the crowd roared. He could imagine the screams as Danny Warsnog came out onto the stage and then all of the fans in the crowd would crave the sound of his voice, Sherbert included. Then is when the opener came. Sherbert couldn't hold back now! He had to let his voice out!
Oh that sweet brilliance! Sherbert ached to hear that man's voice again. And, as he sang out in a somewhat hushed tone, he let out his full ability to mimic those heavy screams. Sherbert could replicate the harshness in the man's tones and then hit that high pitched scream that very few were capable of. But the next part was better. Danny, after that first verse, repeated it, but with a low, guttural growl that shook the bodies of those in the audience. Oh, it felt so good! That was what Sherbert needed right now! He needed to hear that voice again!
It was minutes later and Sherbert had rocked out that excess energy from his system. He then laid back down and held on tightly to that wrench. He knew that he would go to another Asking Alexandria concert again one day. Maybe next time he'd bring a lady with him. That would be nice to have a sweet girl by his side at one of the places that he loved more than anything.

He had warned them all, and yet no one chose to listen to him. Did they think that he was joking? Or perhaps that he was simply insane? No matter what their thoughts were, he was not crazy or insane. No mental hospital would be needed, but body bags would be needed for the coming Apocalypse. Not that it would stop the zombies at all, but it was common courtesy. Although, he did have to wonder about how his parents were doing in this Apocalypse. Kota knew that, he himself, would be fine. At least for a little while, but what of his parents? Neither of them took an interest into Zombies or the Undead, and he was starting to believe that their gift to him was simply so that he would feel better about himself. On his back, attached to a sling was the gift that his parents had gotten him. It was there for easy access should he need to fire at a Zombie, or slap its directly in the face with the gun itself. Provided a Zombie ever got that close to his face, or any part of his body for that matter. Sighing quietly now, he listened as his shoes tapped along the ground. One of the easiest ways to tell if Zombies were coming, was to listen to the sounds of heavy footsteps behind your own quiet ones. Of course many other could not discern scared footsteps from undead footsteps. It was almost as if they did not even know anything about Zombies. " They do not know a thing about Zombies, yet they managed to stay alive and well during this crisis. I have to say, I am impressed. But...the friends I did hope would survive, I had to kill in order to stay alive, to which I am deeply sorry for. I hope you can rest in peace." spoke Kota now as he paused for a moment in respect for the friends he loss in this battle against the undead. Taking a calm breath he proceeded onwards to his destination.
Turning the corner now, he took a moment to asses his situation. Currently, he was alone, which was never a good thing when Zombies took over as it would easily lead to him being captured, and then becoming one of "them". Something that would be cool, but gross. As such, he would try and avoid that possibility at any and all costs. He had reached an intersection in the Residential Area of Kyoto, something that he immediately regretted. The street before him was littered with a load of "them". Due to this, a song flooded into his mind. " Kagome, Kagome. The bird within the cage. You'll be there forever. On the evening of dawn, the crane and the turtle slipped and fell. Who could be behind you?" A song that was used in games when he was younger. The small group of his friends would form a circle around someone and sing the song, with the objective being to guess the person who was behind them. While he thought about it, he began to apply the song to his present situation. " I'm trapped in a cage surrounded by them". Surely "they" would eat a bird with no hesitation. But I can not remain here forever or one of them is going to catch on to me eventually." Looking around now, he looked for the quickest way to gain higher ground. Sure enough, an abandoned car was to the side of him. Climbing it as quietly as he could now, it made a tiny creaking noise which seemed to alert all of the zombies in the area. However, they could not tell where it came from, which had saved his life. Putting his hands onto the side of the triangular roof before hoisting himself up. Given his strength, a few panting breaths escaped his lips before he heard what sounded like a person. Moving his gun into his hands now, he peered through the scope after taking a slight step back. He was sure he saw it. Kota had seen a body lay backwards on a nearby roof. " I have to get over there..And cars seem to be only option." Breathing softly now, he stepped down off of the roof and onto a nearby jeep. A bus was his next vehicle, though it was close enough, it was also turned towards the roof he was headed too. Running along the bus as quickly as he could now, he jumped onto the closest roof to the boy and almost twisted his ankle on his landing. " Now..to get his attention." Zombie noises would work, but then he risked being attacked because of the noise he made. Opening his bag now, he reached inside and grabbed one of the various water bottles he had acquired.Talking aim now, he tossed it up and onto the roof where the male was located. Hopefully it would land on top of the male, but if not, it would more than likely crash besides him. " Please..Look down.."

Thud! ... "...Ouch... Whait, what the ********> Sherbert was beyond confused. He was just laying here quietly and minding his own business when all of sudden a bottle of water came down from the heavens and smacked him in the tummy .... Well that was mighty stupid of him to think. Why would God drop water bottles? That's just asking for lawsuit! There was only one explanation for this .... Aliens! It had to be an alien! Of course! They knew that the humans were in need and came to provide assistance! .... No, that's another stupid thought. "Might as well take a looksie," he thought to himself as he rustled around a bit and then lifted his upper body. He held onto his massive wrench and then hoisted himself up so that he could look around. He held the water bottle in his right hand, wrench in his left, and then looked around above him. Nope! Nothing there! Why not try below? Sherbert would look down and, the first thing he sees, there is one of his fellow class mates down there and was likely the one who threw the water bottle.
"Well hey there, man!" Sherbert accidentally spoke in English and forgot that he was still living in Kyoto. He quickly scrambled around in his mind to find the right words. He swiftly translated his speech and reiterated exactly what he had said. Sherbert's Japanese was a tad rusty since he hasn't really been speaking much for the last few days. Best to keep quiet during the zombie apocalypse, right? "So, uh, hi? Umm... Kota, right? Yeah, you're one of those guys that was always getting shoved in lockers and pushed around, right? Man, I thought you were actually crazy until this .... "thing" started. If it means anything now, then I'm sorry. Anyways, what are you doing out here? This is one of the most dangerous areas of the town! I'm really just here trying to grab supplies before I head back to the school or maybe the forest." Sherbert walked over to the edge of the roof and sat down, dangling his feet. He was high enough so that "they" couldn't reach him, even if they stacked on top of each other for a few seconds. Sherbert then realized that he was still holding that water bottle and tossed it back over to that blue-haired boy.
"So, I know that this is a bit of an awkward situation, but could you maybe team up with me for a little bit? I've been alone for about two days now and this s**t gets old really fast. Plus, I know a guy who is hiding out nearby and is totally gonna help me survive if I can get him to come with me. So maybe the two of us can fight our way over there? I'm sure that you could stick around once we set up a base or something." Sherbert would stand up and stretch as he then looked around the area from his point of view. Those streets were flooded with "them" and maneuvering through the countless hordes would be quite tiresome. Maybe if they went ahead and climbed the rooftops and stayed up there, then Sherbert and his new buddy would be able to finally make it out of this God forsaken part of Kyoto. Well ... what part of Kyoto, at this point, wasn't forsaken by all of humanity?

Jubei Uchiha Delete your posts, the both of you. You are not to start OUTSIDE the SCHOOL. Before you delete them, Clear out your word bank, then you may post anywhere in the School. Thank you! :] I cannot find the rule that states that I must start in the school. If anything, I'm giving my Rpc a tougher time by starting in the High Risk Zone. And what is the harm of just casually RPing out here? I mean, we are not offending anyone by being where we are.
If you can show me a previously arranged rule that states I must start in the school, then I will go quietly and simply delete my posts. I'll throw in an apology and everything and we can all continue with our happy lives.
But if we cannot find this previously arranged rule, then I would at least like to have these word pools cashed in. We worked hard on these posts and losing them simply sucks. If I can't do that, I have a perfectly fine compromise that Aaron and I both start at the school, make an exit post, and then re-post here with these posts. I mean, that works, right? I just don't want either of us to lose what we have worked towards.
Another compromise, how about we just...move our Rpcs from this location over to the school and continue from there. Fair?
I3ambi Only quoting you so that you also could possibly provide me with some enlightenment on this situation. I do respect your judgement as Captain, and as I have stated previously, I will not put up a fight at all. I'm simply supplicating for these words pools to be cashed in if we have to leave this location.

I guess I forgot to place it in the rules to start at the school. The reasoning behind me wanting everybody to start at the School is to encourage people to interact and RP together. So please start at the School.

Thank you so much, man. mrgreen I'll be sure to run an update asap and then post at the school.
By the way, you have like three profiles waiting on you for approval. Just letting you know 'cuz I'd hate to see Rpers so anxiously waiting to join not being able to Rp.
Totally understand that. But hey, look on the bright side of this happening. You found a small error that can easily be corrected to prevent future issues! xp Maybe you should put that in one of the starter threads so that people will be able to see it. After you do that, then there will be way fewer of these incidents.
