Oooh! When are you having it? Are you excited? I know a few people who are having babies, but one doesn't even *want* anything new (it's their third girl), and I haven't heard anything from the other about party plans...I think they're focusing more on getting the nursery painted before B-Day! (I'm trying for #2, so not allowed to help paint - doc says not until second trimester, and avoid while trying as much as possible.)
Can you post about how the games went, and which ones you did? This is your first baby, right? Gah, I'm so excited for you, I'm losing the ability to make a coherent post! mrgreen

This is your first baby, right? Gah, I'm so excited for you, I'm losing the ability to make a coherent post! mrgreen Hahaha, me and my mom are still talking over the date, She wants it to be April 9th (I think that's what she said) but I'm also trying to work it around a time when my best friend can come. She's in collage in DC and live in Boston Mass when she's not at school but it's not for a little while.
Yah We're trying to get the baby's room ready but we want/need a new roof on the house and I'm starting to get paranoid that the room won't be done in time.
I'll defiantly post how it went and the games and stuff. Yepp my first rug rat, and my mom's already planning for my next one to be a girl lol. She was hopein that I had a girl first , and the other day while we were out I was looking at something (I think a baby sling thing) and there was red, black and blue and I told her I wanted blue because it's a boy. She looked at me and smiled asking what if my next one was a girl.
Hahaha I do that too, I'll be talking to Jake and just be on this rant were it makes no since what so ever, or from one subject to the next with out stopping lol.

I want to get Jake something for the baby shower, I read somwhere that it's not the right thing to do. But the way I see it is this is OUR baby and I know (not all the time but sometimes) the mother get's something special for herself.
I was also wondering if you think This would be nice to get him. It's something simple and sweet

*Looks* Heh, that's cute! Does he enjoy scrapbooking? Or were you going to do it for him? I always thought it was nice to include the Daddy at least a little bit in the baby shower festivities. I just had my hubby help me register, that way he wasn't stuck carrying a girly-looking diaper bag, etc. I think for my next one I'll get him some new bedtime stories to read. After all, our son loved the sound of Daddy's voice. Once, he even woke up in the middle of the night, and insisted on being held by Daddy while Daddy sang to him! Yeah, I jumped on that one and got some shuteye...
