Faris wandered through the market street with a bit of interest but slight difficulty moving and breathing. Out of a fit of frustration she had bound her chest down to keep them from getting in the way and it was damned uncomfortable. Maybe it took some getting used to or maybe she did it wrong. Her mother had eyed her a little but Faris acted as if nothing was out of the normal and went through the door looking at least a little less 'blessed' than she was when she first grew.
Sure Kay and any friends that were aware of her odd way of thinking made a good point and even made at least an impression on her thinking...It still didn't solve her main problem. They got in the way.
With a small sigh she stopped near a vendor selling various vegetables and rested. The sun beaming down at her just made it that much harder to want to move anymore.

Gera was moving about the market himself, his large heavy self clumping through loudly despite his best efforts to be careful and quiet. His boots were just too big to be quiet..and he was just too heavy to not be obviously heavy looking.
People tended to move out of his way quickly.
Stomp stomp pause look at a stall...stomp stomp stomp some more. He nearly ran into a certain person he had met a long time ago, but her own heavy figure meant when they collided they...
CLANG
There was the ring of metal on stone, even though it was just a slight crash.

Faris' body trembled in reverberations from even the light impact. The Gargoyle stretched out her wings and hands to steady herself as she held in her breath as if to help herself stay standing and that was a mistake because a wave of dizziness nearly overtook her. She shut her eyes tightly and forced herself to let out a deep breath. She needed to take off the damn wrap. She was trying it out to see if it made anything better for her physically and it didn't!
It only made her more aware of things about her body because she couldn't quite breathe correctly and was even more aware of the cause for it.
Still after she reoriented herself and saw who it was her face brightened up even just a touch, "Gera!" she said happily. He was a sight for sore eyes though she didn't exactly throw herself at him for a hug in fear of another noisier clang.

Gera hadn't seen Faris in a really long time, actually he was pretty sure they had only met once...and boy she had left a big impression on him. After all she was the only person as heavy as he was, if he recalled correctly.
"Oh....oh!" It had really been a long time, and she had grown since their first meeting. By accident he took a step back his hand going out to balance himself...and metal...what where they forks? zoomed out to his hand stuck to him like a magnet before being absorbed into his body.
"HEY!" A rather angry stall owner looked rather furious to have his merchandise suddenly...gone.
Looking apologetic to Faris he turned to the stall merchant and after a moments pause he re-summoned the items he absorbed. He handed them to the man, apologizing profusely before going back to Faris. He smiled at her...what the..was this the same little boy from before?
"Hi Faris."

Faris watched in a mixture of both amusement and amazement as her friend stumbled about a bit and then ended up absorbing some bits of metal. She reached up her hand and hid a giggle as she watched the shenanigans that went on and then once it was taken care of she beamed at Gera as he smiled at her.
He smiled at her! She hadn't seen him smile before, it was a nice thing to see on his face. She resisted an urge to throw herself at him for a hug because the result would have ended up with another epic clash of metal and stone and honestly they had crashed into each other enough for now.
The Gargoyle's tail swished side to side in an excited manner, "Geraaa~! How are yous? Doing good, ja?" she asked with warmth on her face trying to ignore the fact that her chest felt tight and uneasy due to the bindings she was trying.

Gera had managed to get himself away from the glare of the merchant and he waved for Faris to follow him as he sheepishly wanted to get out of hearing distance of the man.
"I ..am well Faris. I am happy to see you." He managed to reply once they had gotten far enough that he felt comfortable enough to speak. Even if she had hugged him he wouldn't of minded. He wasn't exactly use to contact but he wouldn't turn it away either.
Clomping along he was loud as ever, "You look happy Faris."

She happily followed after him and once Gera responded she giggled a bit, "Happy to see yous too~," she replied. Faris really was happy to see Gera it had seemed ages since she had last seen him and they had both been much younger but now he is bigger and she was too! Maybe they could go do something rather than hanging around the marketplace. Any reason why she was here in the first place was (temporarily) forgotten in favor of catching up with her friend.
Faris seemed thoughtful for a moment as he reflected on her happiness before she responded, "Kinda ams but kinda nots..." she admitted quietly with a small shrug.
"Not happies with how I grew," she said simply to her friend.

Gera looked to her curiously, he looked her over wondering what she meant. Not happy with how she grew? He looked himself over, at one arm and then another. Was he happy with how he grew? He was more armored...and Roxy had told him that he looked scarier than before.
"Am I scary?" He asked finally looking to Faris before he reached out to touch Faris's shoulder. "You look good, why not like?" He inquired concern on his face. His grammar ..awkward.

Faris stared at Gera as he looked at himself and then over at her, she blinked at his question. Was he scary? She could never recall a moment when she was scared of him not even when his face held a much sterner expression or rather no expression at all. The Gargoyle didn't pull away from her friend and even blushed a bit when he complimented her even when his grammar came out awkward. After all she didn't talk any more normally than he did.
"Never been scareds of you Gera. I always knew...You was good, I always thoughts you were good," she smiled at him and then looked down at herself and then pointed at her chest blushing a bit. The young Gargoyle resisted the initial urge to 'freak out' at her friend grabbing her bound chest trying to make things more obvious and instead pointed at them.
"I gots..these things...? An..And they makes it more...obvious that I am a girl I guess?" She said uncertain how to explain. "I am...not a very goods girl..or I don't thinks I will be...I kinda don't wants to be a girl...Cause in some movies...and some stories..They are weaks and make people do things for them...I don' wanna be that." She hoped that explained it well enough.
