Midnight pranced her way through the swamp, her normal way of traveling. It was a rare day, the sun was actually shining down on the damp piece of earth she called her home. Her bright coat soaked in the sun's rays and she giggled and splashed about in the puddles surrounding the swamp. Mud splashed up along with her, mingling with her blues and purples, but she didn't care, she continued to play in her own world, oblivious to any harm that may befall her. She refused to believe anything dangerous would rear its ugly head on a beautiful day like today.
