Intro
As the remainder of the contestants are lead out of the arena, a Protector stands between the remaining two genin. Taking a look at one and then the other, the man nodded his head. "Round One. Jin Taega versus Fuyu Masato. Begin!"Quote: Exploding Tags:The field has been littered with hidden exploding tags. They may be painted over on rocks, tree bark, or even floating with a blue sheen in water just waiting for someone to come to close. Danger:Every round when you take your turn roll 1D10 on a roll of 1 you trigger exploding tags that where nearby. BOTH players will be struck for 1,000 damage with an attack score of 200. You both get an instant reaction to dodge/block/counter as normal.

Not able to sleep due to images still fresh in him mind, and finding out that he'd failed the second exam, while the other two had passed. He realized that he was the weakest link in their team. The first trap he got caught in and couldn't get himself out. Secondly One of his team-mates left the group entirely to go finish the mission on his own. Both Aya, the one who stayed to help him, and Jin, the one who rushed ahead, passed the test, while his floundering mess got him failed for a second time in a row. There was no way he was going to become a Chuunin at this rate. He was suprised that he was even in the room with everyone else as they got ready to announce the third and final part of the exams. Both part one and two were team-related, but he wasn't sure if the last part would be ether. It wasn't until he was in the arena that he realized what was going to be happening. It was one on one fights. His mind quickly shifted over to the event that happened on Markry, how he was pretty much useless in helping everyone there fight that horrid abomination of a creature. He suddered again as the memories from that island and the fresh mental torture he went through yesterday mixed together in his mind and then faded. He waited and listened to the best of his abilities as someone was speaking. He thought for a moment and sighed to himself as he looked up and saw the person standing. It was shortly after everyone started to leave. He figured out that he was in the first pairing to fight, but his opponent was someone, he couldn't remember who. He waited and faced the person who was only left standing infront of him yet a distance away. The image went from yellow to orange signifying opponent. He took a deep breath but before he could get ready the announcer stated who it was. Jin? He'd just been paired up with this person yesterday as a team-mate, and not he was fighting him? These proctors had a twisted sence, he thought that much but he knew that he MUST pass this part if he wanted any hope of moving on in life as a shinobi of the sand.

Jin stood staring at his opponent quietly. So it was Fuyu. The guy that he had been teamed up with in the last exam. He certainly looked physically built, but he was blind. Normally Jin would have avoided assuming that would be a hinderance. Obviously if he was a shinobi he had to have some way for making up for that. But, Fuyu had failed the first exam horribly with no points. And in the second exam he didn't do anything to help them succeed. Fuyu had criticized his map, got caught first, and took the longest getting past the traps out of the entire team. He did nothing to help the team. Maybe it was safe to say he wasn't adquent at all. Jin shook his head. Maybe he was and just wasn't chuunin material. He had to at least be a good fighter? With a body like that, at least being hit wouldn't be smart. "You ready for this Fuyu? May the best man win." Jin said. And that man will be me. Capable or not, I am the best. And I will finally show everyone in the world why the name Jin Taega shall never be forgotten! Jin pulled his spear from it's sling and held it ready by his side. With his fingers drumming on the headband attached to his chest, Jin awaited for the match to start. Quote: .: Stats :.

He couldn't believe that the proctors would make newly formed teams fight eachother right away. He had to get that thought out of his mind, he needed to focus. It seemed that Jin was already rearing for this fight so he closed his eyes and emptied his mind. It was now time to focus and give this fight everything he had. As soon as he could, Fuyu created the hand seals for a jutsu he learned in the accademy from one of the Genjutsu specialists that passed with him, Oasis and Hitori. He looked over at Jin once more and paused on the tiger seal. " Clone Jutsu!" He shouted as he started a second set of seals. He started to move as poofs of white started to appear and Clones of himself appear around. They also started to move around until all of them were surrounding Jin. " Alright, Let the best shinobi win Jin... Confining Twister!" With that over and done with the winds in the room started to pick up and form a twister centering on him. If Jin wasn't able to get out of the way, he'd be stuck there and left wide open for any attack Fuyu could plan.

Jin backed up quickly. Eyes wide, Jin clutched his spear tightly and watched the clones surround him. A pulse of electricity surged through Jin's body and radiated out of him to his surroundings. 1, 2, 3, 4, ... 18. Fuyu had the ability to create 17 clones, possibly 18 and hide himself? Jin surpressed a look of shock at the amount. His face became steely cold and he kept his sights on the Fuyu that was standing where the original had been originally. Jin wasn't sure if that was still the original or not. But it would be his first target at least. If it was, all the better. If not, on to the next one. "Confining Twister?" Jin mumbled. Static electricity was already pouring out of his body as he glared at Fuyu. Spinning his spear on one side of his body and the on the other. Jin took a few steps towards the Fuyu in front of him. Quickly increasing the pace of the spins and expelling more static, Jin continued walking foreward until he was jogging. And then finally he was sprinting as what seemed to be a barrier of static electricity shielded his body. "GrrrRROOOOAAA!" With a powerful leap, Jin attempted to tackle straight through the wind and into that particular Fuyu. The static electricity barrier hopefully being enough to nullify the wind's chakra influence. Fujin stated as into his apprentices mind as he finally appeared in the background of the fight. As Fujin looked appon the scene of Fuyu and Jin, First thing was first and that was to act like he was. The wind. As swiftly as he appeared, an Icey mirror arreared infront of him in which he entered and started to disipate into the air around everyone so he would be able to help Fuyu later on

Jin's body blasted through the wall of wind. The static destabilizing the chakra that was controlling it and leaving it to break into an easy breeze. Holding his spear out to his side, Jin landed with his feet and knees slamming into the Fuyu befoe him. As the two hit the ground, Jin quickly rolled off. With his hand pressed against the com-link that rested on his ear to make sure it didn't fall out, Jin turned his head quickly. Eyes scanning the area quickly, Jin sent a pulse of electricity. There was something odd with the wind currents. Jin took a quick step back. His eyes were wide open as Fujin's form appeared in a static outline. There really was something in the arena with them. Just what the hell was that? Was it there to make sure that nothing got out of hand? Or was it possibly something Fuyu was creating. The guy already seemed capable enough to create a multitude of clones and create a twister with them in unison... Jin turned to look at the Fuyu he had knocked down. No. He was Jin Taega. It didn't matter what his foe was capable of, he would overcome them. He refused to let someone else get the better of him. Eyes glaring at his target, Jin spun his Spear once. The electricity sparked violently out of it powerfully. And with a lunge, Jin slashed down onto Fuyu with the electric surging weapon. As Jin's slash came down, his eye widened yet again. There was a set of tags lining the area around the two. And he had just set one off with his attack. Leaping back, Jin dashed away as the nearest tag lit on fire and prepared to explode. Jin kept his spear close to his body and darted straight for the wind spirit. It was only then that he stopped and noticed that there was a link leading towards the spirit as well. With his face draining of color and shook spreading to take it's place, Jin turned to run in a different direction only to... [To be editted] End up stumbling over himself in haste. Rolling across the ground, Jin used his his spear to slow himself. The explosion was big but not big enough to reach him. Through the flames he couldn't see if Fuyu had blocked or dodged or gotten hit. He half wished the guy and the strange being got blown to bits. But he couldn't help have that nagging feeling of guilt. If Fuyu died, it was his fault. Jin turned to his side quickly to the sound of sizzling. Right beside him was another tag. Gritting his teeth and taking his chances, Jin slashed the tag with the tip of his spear. At once the tag crumpled up uselessly. Breathing heavily, Jin turned back to see Fuyu's condition. He was a lot stronger then he'd anticipated, and from the looks of things it would be his downfall. Jin seemed to have a clear view of him as the real Fuyu and not just a clone. He watched as Jin came shooting out of the twister which was now a calm breeze and aimed directly at him with his knees and feet first Unfortunatly, there was no time for him to move, so he instead tried to use the move he'd used in Markry. Wind suddenly shot out from all of his skin acting as a barrier, but unfortuantly again, he just wasn't in time. The knees and feet collided into Fuyu's chest knocking him down. When he realized what was happening, he knew that what he tried to defend wasn't the attack. He spouted wind from his pours yet again but to no avail as Jin's spear came crashing down and into Fuyu's chest. digging deep into his flesh and also shocking him very badly. For a moment, after Jin pulled the bladed end back out, Fuyu felt a little bit colder except around his wounds and also he felt the numbing sensation of electrisity un-naturally corsing threw his body as he quickly chutched the wound and became breathless in pain. Quote: End: ---Chakra: 2,047 ---Stamina: 2,322 ---Fatigue: 0/50 As Fuyu laied on the ground holding his chest wound, He was able to see that Jin was not attacking him right away, infact he was running away from him instead of attacking again so that he couldn't get up or rest. He pondered for a moment and then looked aroudn as he rolled his head. It was then he noticed something. There was fire right beside him. Jin didn't use any fire based attacks, he was actually from the looks of things someone heavy on lightning style Jutsu. Then it hit him, TRAP!! Fuyu, not having the time to move, used the same Jutsu that failed him and curled up into a ball, knowing that if this worked, he could get to his feet, if not it would hurt like hell. As his luck would have it though, his was starting to run out of energy after that last strike. He was now really running low on steam and the explosion was able to bust through the defence he had sending him up into the air. He knew that this was going to happen, the flying in the air bit. Unfortunatly he now had burn marks all over the front of his arms, and legs, his clothes were now blackened with char and he was just in pain. He landed on a foot and knee, but knew that if something didn't change quick, he was going to be in trouble. Quote: crap, roll is next post. He was holding his chest wound with one hand and supporting his body weight with the other hand. He looked over up and once the dust was settled, he noticed that Jin looked like he'd barely been scratched let alone burnt. This was getting on Fuyu's bad side in a hurry. Those images from the second exam were twisting themselves to fit this situation, except it was Fuyu who was the monster this time in his mind, not Aya. He clenched his eyes shut and shook his head. " I will not fail...." He mumbled to himself. He gritted his teeth as he rose up and looked over at Jin. " This exam.... keeps me from knowing who I am.... who my father was.... I will... I will not stop until I know.... who I am.... who my father was..... I will not rest, even if I die trying....." This was all a wisper to himself and anyone who was about two feeet from him, so Jin wasn't close enough to hear him at the moment. Fuyu's mind raced as he got ready to finish this fight now if this idea would work.... With that, Fuyu grabbed his cloak, and drapped it over his entire body, and without warning, he vanished in the arena.
