Scott sighed when he saw Mina reappear with Elaise and Richard. Richard looked a little battered, while Elaise looked nauseated. "Tell me he didn't deliberately get himself caught ta get her loose," Logan said dryly, sounding annoyed.

elaise lifted her head and looked at logan, smiling slightly as she did before falling forwards still held by mina.
" she's very weak." she said softly before holding up the broken headbnad she'd taken from the floor " this is what they were using to restrain her's and richards powers."

"I heard a few of them gloating they had two 'psychic' mutants as prisoners and knew one had to be Elaise after they caught me... I simply let them assume I was the other, and used it to my advantage when I got the chance, catching them all off guard and kicking some a**," Richard said blandly. He didn't really expect Mina to pop him in the back of the head for his language.

mina hit richard round the back of the head playfully before looking at the others " logan please could you take elaise." she said softly holding the girl in her arms.
jean moved forward and rested her hand on elaise's head " i don't think she'l have any lasting damage she's going to be exhausted for a while though." she said " i'l get hank to have a look at this, maybe we can find a weakness." she added taking the headband off mina.

Logan did so, being surprisingly gentle with her. He shifted his balance slightly as he chuckled softly.

mina watched the way logan was with elaise and smiled slightly " logan when i get back to the mansion i need to tell you something." she said before entering the jet and grabbing something from her bag. " give her this. there's something i have to do." she added before vanishing again.
jean began to walk back towards the jet, freezing suddenly she turned and looked at the others worry showing on her face " she's gone after stryker." she said not wanting to look at logan.

Logan turned away with a snort before a blade shot from congealing shadows as he turned slightly, the blade shooting past his face and thunking into the landing ramp of the Blackbird. "If my guess is right, either someone wants to protect his or her interests or somethin' unexpected happened," he said coolly.

mina stumbled out of the shadows, almost falling into logan. she tocuhed her arm and felt a scratch were the blade had narrowly missed both her and adrian. " logan he's after us all, he has calebunder his control." she said softly.
Adrian walked out of the shadows, her tilted his head slightly to close the shadows behind him before looking around at everyone " i managed to get to her in time." he said his eyes rested on elaise for a moment before he looked at jean.

Logan growled softly. His eyes narrowed as he took a step toward the dissipating shadows. "Caleb never was one for takin' orders easily, like both of us; knowin' him, he's fighting his best to make it seem he's followin' orders while waiting for a chance ta shove a blade straight up Stryker's a**," he said quietly, his tone annoyed and gruff at the same time. "I have a feeling when the time comes, Stryker's gonna get the worst surprise of his life, and one he won't forget," he said quietly. Richard tilted his head fractionally, a blue aura swirling around his hands before he flicked a ice blade at a tree before the wood blasted outward, the tree falling backward away from them and the jet.

mina nodded " that's true if caleb was under his control either me or adrian would be dead. caleb never misses you know that." she said looking at logan before moving in front of him, gently she rested her hand on his arm. " how's elaise?"

Logan nodded slightly at her words about Caleb. Caleb James Underwood was a Alpha level mutant with the ability to use his inner strength to directly create weapons of equal density with steel virtually at will. He was also lethally accurate with the weapons, able to hit a dime dead center with a blade at seventy five feet. "Exhausted," he said dryly.

mina nodded " i'm glad richard got to her before she had a power overload. she's always been the one whose powers are effected the most by her change in emotions." she said softly before taking his arm and pulling him to one side " there's something i have to tell you, alone." she added nodding to the others as she spoke.

Logan shrugged slightly before he headed into the jet for a moment, strapping Elaise gently but firmly into her seat before he headed back out, nodding slightly to Mina.

mina nodded to him and watched as everyone climbed into the jet. She smiled slightly as she saw adrian dissappear again. " ermm i haven't been able to tell you this yet but your related to all three of them." she said softly turning her eyes away as she spoke.

Logan tilted his head slightly, cocking an eyebrow. "That don't really surprise me; I never was one for conventional methods o' doin' stuff, and Richie's got that in him, I can tell. As for Elaise... she's already kinda got a surrogate daughter thing goin'... but that other girl I don't know well enough to say either way," he said dryly with a shrug.
