It was a quiet night and Keiran was just wandering about again. His daughter was gone and he no longer had to spend time training with her... Though, he knew that he shouldn't worry because she would be alright and could take care of herself. She learned from the best. Unable to sleep, the kalona decided to wander a little and release a little energy so that he could fall asleep.

Looking around at the forest, Keiran hadn't been out here in awhile and he almost forgot what this area had looked like. Now that he thought about it, he hadn't seen the rest of his family in a long time; he made a mental note to visit his mother sometime soon...

Hearing something making a ruckus in the distance, Keiran decided to head that direction and see the creature responsible. When the soquili appeared in his line of sight, he couldn't help but chuckle to himself. It was only a foal, a very rambunctious kalona foal though. He wondered why it was out here by itself and why it was making so much noise.

Getting closer to the foal, Keiran called out, "Hey! What's with the disturbance?" As he got closer, he observed the foal carefully wondering if he knew its parents or not.

Unfazed at the foal's boldness, Keiran observed it curiously not recognizing any of his markings. "My name is Keiran. Your turn." The kalona stopped a few feet away from the foal and smirked as the foal's tail lashed about. He was definitely an interesting little foal, Keiran was already beginning to like him. Already at a young age, this little kalona was a good example of the way kalonas were supposed to act. There were too many of these 'good' kalonas wandering about nowadays and not enough purebloods.

Hah. And this kid's got pride too, Keiran couldn't help but see a lot of similarities between himself and the foal. The names were unfamiliar but kalona families were getting huge nowadays it was difficult to keep track of them all. "Nope, not me. Are you?" With a little training, Keiran knew that this foal would be fearsome when he grew up. That was a good thing to know that there were still capable purebloods out there. Looking around wondering if his parents were actually lurking somewhere out there, Keiran asked, "Do your parents know where you are?"

"Good to hear. We need more kalona like you and me around." Nodding slightly, Keiran wasn't sure what else to tell Lilith. It seemed like this foal had everything together and Keiran fully supported him. "I see. My daughter used to do that a lot too; she worried the hell out of me sometimes. Just don't get into too much trouble... yet." Pausing, Keiran smirked at Lilith. "I'm sure that you can handle yourself but you're still young, you'll have plenty of time to prove that to them."

"It's okay, makes you even more unique. Be proud of it." Keiran wanted to make sure that this foal knew that he was one of a few and needed to make sure of that. Others were beginning to forget how fearsome the kalona race was and this foal was a glimmer of hope for them. "Well, don't back down then and never show weakness." If the foal was going to get into trouble, he might as well do it with a bang.
