Unia traveled along the beach's shore, her dark fur contrasting roughly with the bright waters rays of sun. Two BCR's clicked together on her back legs, her most recent find. She had a habit of finding odd things, and these two BCR's were the most recent finds. She needed to find them homes, maybe their original. She had found both in the forest near Cruor, an odd find among such dangerous lands. She wanted to raise them, but two at once would be to much by herself. She didn't even have a mate! These BCR's needed a home.
She was returning to her tribe from a brief adventure she had been having, and if she brought the BCR's back or not was something she had not planned or decided. The motherly fox wanted them to have a good life, but she did not know where that would be. These kits could not be hers for now, without a mate or anyone else to help her she was hardly suitable to raise creatures when she herself was unable to watch over herself.

Persephone did another twirl through the one wisp of cloud that could be seen in the sky giggling a bit when the water lightly dampened her fur. As she flew upside down she noticed there was a rather dark gray blob on the beach. It was was rather contrasting and caught her attention. 'should I go check it out' Persephone thought.
Well she had come here hoping to run into Jaci or Horus since when she was little this is where they had met. She wanted to show the small permikit she was all grown up now and could hunt that deer. So far her search had been in vain. "well I cant find any of them so lets go check it out. As long as it isnt a mean daeva I can escape back into the sky" Persephone said out loud. She often traveled alone and talking to her self helped her from becoming rather crazy. With her mind made up she corrected her self before beginning a dive down to the curious grey spot.
As she got closer to the ground she noticed it was a dark gray fox. Deciding to stop a little ways above the modifox in case it was hostile she decided to call out. "Hello there"

NikoNiko padded along the beach, his paws leaving behind formidable prints in the sand. He hadn't come out here looking for company--in fact, he'd wanted just the opposite--and he was hoping other foxes would stay away from the water and leave him to brood on his own. For awhile he thought he'd gotten his wish until two shapes appeared in front of him. From this distance he couldn't make out a lot, but it looked like one of the figures had wings, and they weren't leathery like his. A Modiphim, then.
Well that was what he really needed. Snorting, Niko looked around for a different path to take to avoid his polar oppsite species, but of course he found none. And he was not the type to fly away from his problems...which meant he was just going to walk past the pair. No giggly, over-the-top Modiphim was going to inconvenience him today.
As he got closer it became apparent the pair were both female. Rolling his eyes and grumbling something to himself about vixens, Niko realized he had a problem; they were blocking his way down the beach. He stopped a good ten feet or so away as he considered how to handle them.

Unia spotted a creature flying above her, nearly jumping out of her skin. She let out a loud yip, shudders rushing through her spin. She was a rather jumpy fox, friendly but jumpy. The blue blur moved closer, and she tensed, hiding the leg of BCR's on her leg from view, until she saw it was a female modiphim. Phim's were known for being kind. She lowered her stance, allowing the female to approach her.
"Why, hello!" She answered back, smiling at the Phim gently. She looked above her at the other, tail wagging twice. What pretty fur. "You have lovely fur!" She called out, beaming. Such a naive fox she was. She spotted something from the corner of her eye, turning it to see a Daeva. Oh, two flying creatures? She backed up, slightly overwhelmed. The fox held her leg with the BCR's under her protectively, slightly worried about these pair of foxes.

"Oh I'm sorry. I didnt mean to startle you. I was just trying to find the best way to say Hello." Persephone said floating down a little closer again. Lucky the modifox seemed to be rather nice and had even commented about her fur.
She blushed a little as she was very proud of the lightning coat she sported."Thank you. I am very proud of it. I inherited it from my dad. He has a lightning coat too" Persephone told her and then noticed something in the back ground. As it came closer she noticed it was a grump mister. She lightly bit her lip hoping it wasn't going to start some thing with her.

When the other two reacted badly to his presence, Niko couldn't help but roll his eyes. "Have a problem?" he drawled, not even thinking before he spoke. He knew his kind carried a stereotype, but really, they weren't all about spattering blood everywhere.
As if feeling the need to prove his point, the Modidaeva walked closer to the pair. "' 'Phim, fox," he greeted them shortly, watching them almost boredly. He bore signs of past fights--a chipped horn and torn wings--but he clearly wasn't in the mood for one now.

Unia realized how rude she was being, approaching the Daeva until she was merely steps away. She stared him straight in the eyes, took a deep breath, and smiled. "Hello. I'm sorry I was being rude, I've had a bad encounter with a Modidaeva before. That does not excuse me from judging you before I met you." She shyly smiled, hoping he would not be to offended. Well, this was odd. Three different species of Modi's all together. She found herself envying their wings, but kept it to herself.
She turned around, lowering her tail from the BCR's, gasping in realization. "Oh my gosh! Am I in both your ways? Oh! Are you secret lovers meeting here?! I didn't meant to intrude! Oh...how romantic!" Her eyes seemed to light up at this thought, her cheeks flushing.

Persephone took a deep breath and set her self down on the ground. It seemed like the daeva had forgotten meeting her once before. Well it was okay in her opinion she was very tiny and didn't have wings at the time. It was a time for fresh start anyways he didn't seem to want to start a fight. "Sorry its an ingrained response Daevas always seem to make fun of us phims so we become rather guarded when one shows up."
Persephone jerked before giving a ridiculous look to the gray fox in front of her. "Um I'm afraid there is nothing so romantic as that. we are just like you walking down the beach. Well in my case I guess that would be flying wouldn't it."

Niko snorted in response to the gray vixen's explanation. "Then it wasn't me," he said shortly before turning his attention to the Phim when she spoke. "Oh yes, it's all our fault that our kind don't get along," he drawled in response, voice absolutely dripping with sarcasm.
It might have been true that Daevas were built to sneer and taunt and tear things apart, but Niko had been taunted by a fair number of Modiphims before. Some of them he didn't care about--others annoyed him for trying to push his buttons.
The gray vixen mentioned "secret lovers", and Niko spluttered in repsonse. "What-no!" As if he would ever do anything of the sort with a 'Phim. He hardly liked his own species. "...Yea, no romance here."

Unia withered under the look the Phim gave her, nodding and lowering her head. Of course, what Phim fell for a Daeva? Not many, they seemed to have a natural grudge against one another.
The responses the two were exchanging were starting to look ugly, and Unia wished to halt it in its tracks. True, they were just passing one another, but it there was no use for hurt feelings or cruel words. She frantically glanced between them, searching her brain for words to make this alright, so when everyone parted it'd be in a good mood.
"U-uhm! Well, so, if you aren't lovers, then why are we all passing through here? Seems more than a coincidence."

" Well I guess the blame shouldn't all go to the daevas. My kind doesn't often help fix the relationship either and I have heard of some modiphims and modidaevas getting along so it is possible." Persephone pondered thinking over the Daeva's words. It wouldn't do to be accusatory now.
"Well I cant say for your two but I had met some good friends of mine here and I was kind of hoping they where still around this area" Persephone pointed out turning towards the gray fox. "I used to come here a lot as a kit and thought about returning now that I can fly. My dad used to carry us on that really nice thermal over there."

"Really? Lucky, my parents never took me anywhere." Unia paused, glancing at the BCR's. She sincerely wanted them to have a better life than she did as a kit, a better home. Maybe they could be friends when they were older? Unia watched the two winged foxes, nodding to them.
"What about you, sir? By the way, what is your names? Mine is Unia, pleased to meet you!" She flashed her brightest smile, tail wagging side to side. She wanted to make up for being rude to the Daeva, and she was naturally friendly anyways.

Niko shrugged one shoulder at the Modiphim's little speech. He wasn't on this beach to debate the relationship between his species and hers, because, frankly, he didn't give much of a damn. Let the more volatile and stupid of his kind deal with the role between their kinds.
"Name's Niko," he told the gray female--Unia, she'd said. "I was just taking a walk. Haven't been here before, haven't been here very long."

"Niko? I like that. What about you, ma'am?" She tilted her head to look at the other, relaxing considerably. She guessed she should explain herself as well, but she was reluctant to. She didn't enjoy talking about herself at all, instead enjoying hearing other's stories. She decided to wait to share why she was here until she heard the purple foxes name, it was only considerate to know someone's name, even if it was only for a few seconds.
