Bio: Alala was created along with Lang Fa and Lady Bat by Mikeru. She's a fairy-like minion that sings two songs: "Star Mero Mero Heart" and "Oh Yeah! Alala". With the help of the first song, Alala can shoot stars at the Mermaid Princesses and with the second one she can make men immediately fell like they're in love with her. She's quite peppy most of the time.

Name: Izul
VA: Sayori Ishizuka
Debut: Episode 1 "Pearl Tears"
Appearance:
Bio: Izul is the first villain ever seen in Mermaid Melody. She's also the first of the Dark Lovers and she's the most mature. Izul commands waves and sea monsters and she's able to create dragons for water. They can appear from nowhere.

Izul is also the most obsessed in winning the heart of Gaito.

Bio: Eriru is the second of the Dark Lovers. She's an idiot, but she is very dangerous and mean when she changes her personality. She's a demon with "two faces"; normally, she is silly and nice, but when she spins around, her eyes glow red and she becomes a more malignant girl that controls water. Although she's a fan of Gaito and thinks she has better plans of catching the Mermaid Princesses, she still fails and Gaito disagrees her fondness for him due to stupidity.

Age: 14
Appearance:
Bio: Gaito is the antagonist in Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. He rules the Dark Lovers, but is secretly ruled by Sara. He also has followers known as the Black Beauty SistersMimi and Sheshe. All of his minions seem to believe he is irresistible and are in love with him.

Kaito is Gaito's twin brother. He was tossed on the shores to live a good life as an infant, while Gaito was forced to live a life of solitude. He wanted revenge on the mermaids for sealing his family away for tens of thousands of years while releasing Kaito. He also wanted to collect the powers of the seas for his beloved Sara. This leads Gaito to capture the mermaid princesses, to take their pearls and awaken Aqua Regina, the sea goddess.

Name: Lady Bat
Race: Vampire-like
VA: Sanae Kobayashi
Appearance:
Bio: Lady Bat was created by Mikeru. It's learned in the Japanese version that she is actually a he, a male who dresses up like a woman. He is after the Mermaids. His song hypnotize people who hear it. Whenever he does this to the Mermaids, he tries to drink their blood. But sadly, it doesn't work.

When Lady Bat first appeared before Luchia, Hanon, and Rina, he sang it. But it failed when Mizuiro no Senritsu was played on the piano.

Whenever Lady Bat appears, bats come appear and Lady Bat then appears. He, Alala, and Lang Fa were all created by Mikeru. They are in the second season of Mermaid Melody.

Name: Lanhua/Ran Fa
Race: Butterfly Humanoid

Appearance:
Bio: Ranfa, Lang Fa or Lanhua, is Mikeru's butterfly-like servant. She sings a song that makes the listeners dance incessantly. She can also transform into dozens of chibi versions of herself, that barely look harmful, but, in fact, they are very dangerous.

Appearance:
Bio: Maria is part of The Dark Lovers and she is Gaito's favourite of them. She's a water demon that controls and manipulates ice and snow. Like the other Dark Lovers, she tries to catch the Mermaid Princesses, but she usually fails.

Maria is rather calm and elegant, but she can be cold-blooded and cruel at times.

Name: Mikeru/Michel
Debut: Pure Episode 1 "Morning of Separation"

Appearance:
Bio: Michel resembles an angel and is the one who launched a personal vendetta against the Mermaid Princesses after learning their relations with the human world. Although he is strong enough to resist any song the Mermaid Princesses would dish out against him until the finale, he is cursed with a weak body. He steals both Kaito's memories and Seira's heart in order to keep himself alive. In the manga, it is revealed that Michel is under the control of Fuku and is very good and gentle at heart. Michel is an ancient angel and is disgusted by what humans had done to the Earth that him and the other angels created. This explains why he needs Michal's body, Seira's heart, the heart of a mermaid princess, which means a fairly large amount of power, and Kaito's memories because he is a very powerful prince whose powers may rival those of the mermaid princesses. Michel believes that "angels" and mermaids are superior beings to humans because both species understand the importance of the Earth and each have powers, in one form or another.

Bio: Sheshe and Mimi are hired by Gaito after the Dark Lovers failed so many times for capturing the Mermaid Princesses. Sheshe is the one with red hair and Mimi is the sister with light blue hair. Together they are The Black Beauty Sisters. They sing two songs. These songs give the listeners or at least a Mermaid headaches and makes them feel defenceless

Appearance:
Bio: Yuri is the youngest of the Dark Lovers. She's a water demon that controls people and objects, with the help of a sad, depressive piano music that she plays it. Yuri is very spiteful and malignant, yet deep inside she has a very childish and sensitive heart. Due to Gaito's continuous treatment for her as a child, it leads her to form romantic feelings for Hippo later.
