Rora was curled up on the couch of the top floor of the shop. She was tanned, as if she'd spent months in the tropics. And Rora looked like it too, she was dressed in clothes that would make one gape at her during winter.
But then, the heater was going and the top floor was rather warm. Warm enough to make anyone wearing winter clothes sweat and feel very uncomfortable...
Aurora yawned and stretched back on the couch. She had been trying to read, but she was drowsy and it was impossible to concentrate. Maybe just a short nap...

It was probably time to meet some more people before moving out. Ronin was whistling slightly as he entered the shop and looked around. No one here. Blue eyes scanned the room. He was dressed differently today, because of the cold. A pair of jeans, which were comfortable and not too tight and a black wool jacket combined with a red shirt. It was warm and pretty.
One hand moved across his chin where a few stubbles looked like some kind of beard and the teen decided to go up the stairs. As he entered the top floor of the shop a warm wave of hot air hit him and he was startled. Why was it so damn hot in here ?
Ronin looked around and suddenly spotted a familiar figure on the couch. "Oh my goodness..." He whispered and his eyes went large as he recognised Rora. Now he knew why it was hot in here...
He stared at her without speaking a single word.

Rora didn't miss the footsteps coming up the stairs. It really was hard to, when there wasn't any other sound in the house besides her breathing. And it had to be male, they were heavyish.
She yawned and stretched as the person reached the top floor, stretching each bare limb slowly and carefully. The voice made her pause though, partly out of confusion and partly because it was a voice Rora reconized.
Though she hadn't really heard it since the island.
"Ronin?" Rora opened one eye, and waved lazily with a foot. "How have you been?"

Ronin gasped for air and blinked as she spoke. She existed ! She was really...alive and so on. "Yeah." Oh come one Ronin, don't be stupid and talk. His tongue didn't really want to work out though and somehow he was a tad angry that she just asked him as if nothing had happened.
Well, indeed NOTHING had happened. That was the problem..perhaps...of course...He made one step towards the couch and tried to keep himself from staring at her chest. That just wasn't right.
"F-Fine." He muttered and shook his head. One hand moved to the zipper of his jacket, but he didn't dare to open it, although it was very hot inside the room. "Well...didn't see you for a long time !" It was really supposed to sound like a accusation. Didn't work out so well, though.

Rora blinked sleepily. She had to get up and give him a hug, and she knew it. Slowly she convinced each limb to move, till all four were working and Rora was pushing herself up off the couch and onto her feet.
"I know. I doubt anyone noticed that I was away though, I just had a little holiday. I don't like snow very much."
After a moment Rora decided to add, "Are you okay? You look kind of hot... maybe you should take off your jacket. It's hot up here. But if you want, I could turn down the heating?"

Ronin watched every movement intensively although he tried to stay calm and polite. "I noticed." He stated as firmly as he could. She couldn't just play with him...she knew that he liked her, right ? But perhaps the snow was the real reason...perhaps.
"Yes, I'm alright. Don't worry, Princess." He blushed as he called her by the nickname and fumbled with the zipper to open his jacket. A part of his body, which wasn't the brain, rebelled against the thought of getting her dressed in warmer clothes. "It's...alright." His voice had become more deep throughout the last weeks and one of his hands gently pulled off his jacket. Better...calm down, Ronin. Calm down.

"Oh, ok. Good. I was worried that my Knight was going to fall over on me or something." Rora was teasing... in a way. For a moment there she had wondered if he was about to keel over onto the floor in a dead faint.
She watched him pull off his jacket, then turned and headed into the bar. Rora had put a few sodas in the fridge, and pulled two out. She pushed one at Ronin over the bar. "Here, it's cold."
Then Rora went straight back to the couch and flopped across one of the arms. She patted the other half of the couch with a bare foot and asked, "Want to come sit? We could watch a movie or something, I haven't seen you for ages! Unless you have to leave soon."

"Your - Oh no, I'm fine, don't worry." Ronin straightened his body. She didn't think he was a whimp, right ? He wouldn't cry about a girl not talking to him for a long time. He was a MAN !
The soda was just what he needed and he gladly accepted it. He took a sip quickly before staring at the girl with wide eyes. Movies were nothing bad, right ?
"No, I've got time. I'll move out soon anyway, so mum says I'm old enough to go out as long as I want to." Moving towards the couch he sat down beside her and smiled slightly.

"You're moving out? That's great! I hope you'll have a house warming party, Ronin, I'd love to see where you'll be living." Rora grinned at him from over her soda. "I'm still living at home. I'd like to move out, I just havn't been brave enough to do it yet."
She picked up a DVD remote. Rora wasn't sure what was in there, so she just pressed play and hoped for the best. It, apparently, was a movie called 'Duty of Love!'.
Rora settled back on her back, her feet slipping off the couch next to Ronin's legs. She sipped at the drink. "I don't know what this is... want to find out?"

"Yeah, moving in with a guy called Kendall. You're invited...of course." He tried to smile as charmingly as possible and moved one hand through his hair.
"Sure, I always like to try out new things." Apparently that wasn't true, but he hadn't thought of the movie anyway. His eyes followed Rora's feet and one of his arms felt the urge to be wrapped around her. Being insecure at first, he just settled his hand on the couch's back close to her body.
It was damn hot in here, he really felt the desire to drop more clothes. Watching the movie it didn't get any better. The guy on TV was just kissing a beautiful girl. Ronin looked at Rora.

Aww.... Ronin was so adorable when he was trying to be cool. Rora grinned back at him, she loved to see it when he tried to be charming. Or brave. Or strong. Half the time he was all those things, but it was the way he'd do it that would make her smile.
"I'm glad." She replied softly, and didn't elabarate. He could decide if she meant the moving in, or the trying out new things. Either way, she didn't mind.
Aurora's eyes drifted to the TV, and she flushed. Sure, she'd done that. But she was now sitting in a hot room, with much bare skin, near Ronin. While watching them do that. It made her skin come up in goosebumps.

Ronin took a deep breath as he allowed his hand to touch her shoulder slightly. If she thought that was ok, he could probably move to her wrist. She's be lying in his arms then.
His brain seemed to melt as he thought about this and he grinned. As he touched her skin, he noticed the goose bumps and frowned. "Are you cold, Rora ? You're not sick, are you ?" There was true worry inside his voice.
In the meantime the people on TV had started to get off their clothes pretty slowly. As his eyes noticed this fact he started to blush and tried to think about something else. It didn't work.

She blinked as a hand touched her shoulder, but didn't let herself move. He was nervous, Rora could tell that... and she was a bit nervous herself, though she couldn't figure out why.
After all, it was Ronin. "I'm not sick. I'm fine." Rora replied, shrugging lightly. "Maybe a bit cold..."
As soon as the word 'cold' left her mouth, she blinked. Okay. In this heated room, WRONG word. "I mean, hot. Aren't you hot, you dressed for winter and it's warm in here?"
A moan from the screen made Rora flush. Oh yea. Hot was the word for it.

Ronin was slightly confused by her comments, but still only one word counted. Hot and a moan were indeed a comatose mixture for a guy's brain. Especially for a teenager, who had never been able to touch or kiss a woman before.
"I'm very hot." He almost whispered and looked at her intensively. But Ronin never forgot about his manners ! "I can't take them off though, I'm not wearing a shirt below this one." He shrugged and sighed.

Rora was having a bit of a problem controling herself as well. She had a feeling that something was her fault here, and had she had not been as close to him as she was then, she might have decided to not say or do anything till she figured out what she had done.
...but who cared about all of that anyway? Who cared about anything! She had to live a little, right?
"You feel hot." Rora whispered, curling into his arms. She fingered some of the buttons on Ronin's shirt and added, "It doesn't matter. You can take it off if you want."
