And AIM RP with Alis.

Sweeny: Emiko hunched over her clover patch with sad eyes cast down. It had been almost half a year since her sin, and she still had not forgiven herself for it. She had committed a terrible sin, and she had to repent, she just didn't know how. Scarlet had her advice, but Emiko didn't know exactly what she meant. Take your suffering and make it into love? How did she do that? How do you take such a negative thing and make it into something so good? Besides, Emiko didn't deserve such a good thing as love. She sighed gently and lipped at another flower of clover, lost in her own thoughts.
Lately the snow around her home had been melting, revealing the greening grass below. Scarlet was convinced that it was like Emiko's chance for revival, just like the earth. Emiko wasn't so sure. Still, the world coming back to like after the desolate winter did make her happier, if only by a small fraction. The springtime sun also did it's part to warm her from the outside in, chasing away the winter chill. Still, she still felt lost.

Alis: Lucifer trotted along the spongy patches of moss and melted snow, his tail dragging behind him like the tail of a rat. Many moons had passed since he last saw his father, and he was concerned for the livelyhood of his mother at this point. She seemed...odd. The spark she had when he was a foal was now, a walking carapace with no emotions except for sadness and nostalgia.

He found himself trotted over clovers, remembering how he sprung from his basket on clovers the corners of his lips arched upwards, remembering the first feeling of the warmth of his surroundings. It was much different now, years had past, things weren't the same. In the distance he saw the figure of something.
Approaching slowly, he spoke, softly albeit and uttered "Hello?" an inquisitive tone in his voice.

Sweeny: Emiko's head came up all to fast, and she felt the twinge of her muscle complaining at the sudden movement. It took her eyes a moment to adjust to the sudden distance she had to look. The voice had made her nerves jump, and she wasn't exactly looking for another stallion at this moment. Besides... he looked too much like -him-. She turned her gaze away for a moment and tried to clear up her vision again. No, she ahd to focus on her penance. She couldn't afford to dwell on the past. Emiko turned her gaze back to the blue stallion and grinned. "Hello there," she called, the grin easily becoming sincere. "What brings you to Emiko's side of the mountain?"

Alis: Lucifer stopped as she snapped her gaze upon him. "I-I..." he studdered, nervouness overcame him in an instant. "I was simply travelling through, to, um..." He swiped his tail to and fro, the massive curl swinging like a pendulum. "Clear my mind, I suppose." He chuckled nervously. "S-sorry if I scared you ma'am, I really mean no trouble, I promise." He shoot her a nervous smile, trying to make himself look as innocent as he really was. "My name's Lucifer Von Helson, nice to meet you." He bowed his head and his knee, giving her a courtsy of sorts. "Your name, what is it..?"

Sweeny: Emiko felt suddenly sad about startling the stallion. She grinned gently, eyes crinkling at thier corners. "Emiko is easily scared, you shouldn't be sorry. It is, Emiko is afraid, a part of her curse." She bowed her head back, not really sure how to deal with the sudden decorum the stlalion displayed. "Er... It's nice to meet you Lucifer. Emiko's name is Emiko." She grinned brightly, lifting her head.

Alis: Lucifer thought for a moment, 'curse?' the word rang through his mind, not liking the sound of anything to do with bad mojo or magic. "Uhm...curse, Ms. Emiko? What kind of curse?" He smiled awkwardly. "I'm very sorry to have startled you, My hair isn't necessarily the quietest thing around, y'know."

Sweeny: Emiko shrugged gently, lipping at some more clover. "It's just something Emiko must make up for. And please, do not call her ms. Emiko is just another mare, nothing too special, she is afraid." She grinned softly, tipping her head to the side slightly. "Oh, Emiko is easily started. She always has been. Don't be sorry. Especially since your hair is so pretty!"

Alis: Lucifer snorted, "Thanks, I try to take good care of it, after all... My looks is all I have in this world, for the moment." He chuckled. "Afraid of what, If I may ask? You seem like a strong enough mare... And Kalona and Skinwalker usually do not strike in a place such as this, we're far away from typical hunting ground."

Sweeny: Emiko grinned brightly at the compliment. "Thank you, that's what Emiko's brothers say. But... she is just a jumpy mare. There's nothing to do abou it. But thank you. You are very kind." She turned her head up at Lucifer, eyes shining, happy for the company. "Do you live near by then? This basin was far from any families, I thought.

Alis: Lucifer smiled. "My family... we live on a hill, not too far from the coast." He closed his eyes in thought, "I wander though, as does my father. My mom stays home and mostly hopes one day she'll pop out kids, or that one day we'll return with grand-children for her." He chuckled, "My mother is in 'that' stage in her life, if you catch my drift, heh." He tilted his head. "Yourself? Where do you reside?

Sweeny: "Emiko does indeed. Her mother loves children as well. While she no longer wishes for some of her own, she does adopt whoever needs a home, like Emiko." At his stories of travel her eyes sparkled. "Oh, Emiko would like to travel. She's too scared to do so, though. She lives up that mountain up there. Along with her mother and two brothers."

Alis: Lucier nodded. "I see, I see~" a spark of interest in his tone. "Yeah, momma is just lonely, dad disappears sometimes, so it's rough on her, being alone..." He looked at the mountain, staring. "You climb all that, just to go home? You're definitely a tough cookie. I'd whine the whole time during the climb."

Sweeny: "It's not that tall. Emiko supposes it gets easier once you do it several times day. It's like the distance you travel, Emiko could not do it, but you're used to it." Emiko shrugged and went back to eacting her clover. She raised her head and grinned gently. "Emiko doesn't think you would have a problem with it. You seem like a stong soquili."

Alis: Lucifer held back urge to laugh. "If you only knew how weak I really was, almost falling slave to- nevermind, it's a longer story then I have time to tell." She picked up a clover and chewed on it gracefully. "How far have you travelled away from this place? I personally think there is no distance too far, when you have a open-minded opinion of the world. Before I die, I want to see the whole world, if that's at all possible."

Sweeny: Emiko almost laughed at the question. "No farther than this basin. Emiko's life before this was enough of an adventure. All she wants now is to live out her days here, in peace. Like she said before, Emiko is far to frightened to travel beyond these mountains. After all, what can be so good about the world?" She turned away from the stallion slightly, looking to the boarder that protected her. What indeed? Predators, harassment, liars, thieves, darkness, heartbreak. No, she loved her home, and would never leave.

Alis: Lucifer smiled. "I used to feel that way. But I've learned these few years, that yes, the world is tough. But for every wrong, there is right. For all the darkness, there is alright right. My mom always told me water washes water. Blood washes blood." The quote might not make sense, at first, but Lucifer used it almost religiously when he used philosophy. "I think, to really enjoy life, you've got to take the risk. I've had plenty of close calls, but it makes me all the more grateful for the days that're peaceful."

Sweeny: Emiko shook her head fervently. "Emiko has lived her supernova," she said quietly, lamenting her past life, wishing she had not lived quite so many. She sighed, closeing her eyes, which suddenly felt all too hot. "Now all she wants to do is live in the peace she ahs found. She wants her routines, she wants her calm. Once Emiko is done repenting for her sins, she will become even more peaceful."

Alis: Lucifer listened and nodded. "I see," He sighed. "I guess that is understandable. I, on the other hand, have my whole life to live. I want to love someone, to raise a family." She sighed. "Peace doesn't corrolate with that though. It's one or the other, and perhaps, I will make the choice for peace. But I want chaos in my life." He smiled. "The silence of peace would drive me into oblivion, personally, Emiko."

Sweeny: "Everyone is different, Lucifer, Emiko finds that is her favorite part. And normally someone wanders into this valley, just as you have. It's not so lonley. Emiko also has her mother and brothers up on her mountain. She is not lonley." She grinned, leaning down to lip at some clover. "There is nothing wrong with conflicitng ideas, in fact it's the spice of life."

Alis: "That's all true, I suppose." He smiled at her. "Do you think you'll ever leave this place? Even after you've repented for your so-called sins?" Tilting his head, he waited for the answer. "I think you should, even if you prefer solitude, maybe seeing the lands alone would be good for you. You could bring your family along too~ I think it'd be good." He smiled, not realizing how pushy he was actually being with all of this.

Sweeny: "Probably not. Emiko is a fraidy-pony, and is scared she'd get lost and never be able to come home. Even after she is done repenting she will probably never leave." Another clover flower was popped into her mouth, leaving a bare stalk. The stalks were always too tough and woody for her anyway. "Even Emiko's friends come to visit her, because he won't leave. Granted, he does make it hard to repent, sicne her penance is to make others happy..." She lipped a little grass, considering her conundrum. "But Emiko helps who she can when they wander through."
