I've only read the manga up to number 8 and am wondering for those who watch the series, what happens with konoka and se-chan? It seemed like there getting into a relationship. I hope that does happen!

well, in the anime they do kiss, but it was to save setsuna-san's life, but the kiss didnt happen in the manga.

Oh, they're in a relationship all right, Setsuna just won't admit it to anyone (especially herself). The upcoming Mahora festival kinda preoccuppies everyone in the next couple volumes, so don't expect any major revelations in their relationship.

For now, is the key phrase. I do expect their relationship to incline within the next volumes [the festival has been revolving around Negi; not enough Konosetsu screentime sad ]. Right now, Konoka is the princess, her knight in shining armor being Setsuna. ^^ [Although, there is that scene in Vol. 7 where Konoka asks Negi about pactios since she wants Setsuna to be her partner, but Setsuna being the person she is, hesitates. Don't worry, they will eventually. wink ]
Btw, it's Secchan, not Se-chan. Yes, there is a difference and it does matter. Darn those ignorant Del Rey translators. -__-

Actually, I think Konoka at least is sort of bi; she just likes cute things in general. ^^; It's not about preference, it's sort of about lack of preference. Destiny is all that matters in love. 3nodding
And if they're not [hell will be raised], we can always leave it to fan fic writers to Yuri-fy them. XD

Konoka and Setsuna, in reality, is kinda complicated.
Konoka, at the moment, is just happy to be friends with her again. Like she said to Negi back in vol. 2, she's just not looking for any kind of relationship right now.
Setsuna is the one who complcates things. She has a lot of hang-ups about the barriers between them(Species and Class among them), not to mention a small affection for you-know-who as well.
