To some the scene that painted itself along the meadow would seem like a image from a photograph, or an old ages art piece thought would be sitting in a model home, or an antique shop, but it wasn't, it was reality, and the moment reality seemed to lay low and sit still for everyone around. No birds sang, no squirrels scampered around looking for acorns or just romping around. Everything was as silent as the moment before a war.
Amongst the silence a little filly carefully worked her way to the edge of the forest where all trees entered the the terrain welcomed the noiseless meadow. She had no idea why she was hanging around, but something told her she might find some sort of amusement around, even if it might only be for a moment. Really, any sort of amusement would be welcomed for the slow day, and anything was welcome to get away from her brothers.
As Nikita stood at the edge of the forest, or the entrance of the meadow, she gave a snort, her golden orange eyes scanning the area for any sort of life hanging around. "Tch, at this rate this place might as well be a graveyard instead of a meadow..."
She shook her head and started to make her way across the area, her ears staying perked for any sort of noise and eyes staying alert.

Today was dull. No one was out playing games, siblings were asleep, and parents were watching over their foals. The meadow was too quiet, too peaceful, and too perfect. It needed to be livened up a bit. Someone needed to bring a little excitement and wake up any sleeping creature in the area. Akino would be happy to oblige. He wouldn't mind waking everyone up.
The young colt smirked as he began to dash through the quiet meadow. As he ran, bugs of all sort jumped out of his path just in the nick of time, before they were squished under his small hooves. His short mane danced as much as it could with the wind created by the colt as he ran. Akino laughed as he slammed his hooves against the ground, trying to create as much noise as possible. No one deserved to rest during the day! It was the time for playing and enjoying life, not sleeping it away. Grown ups were so boring sometimes...
Something caught his eye and Akino lifted a brow. A bright orange figure stood at the entrance of the meadow. With a smirk, he flew in the direction of the figure. It seemed to be smaller than both his parents, about his younger sister's size. Maybe it was another foal! He smiled at the thought.
