Dark Tournament style FTW

Basic coliseum setup, a round arena raised off of the ground made of solid Adamantium, which spans a good hundred meters in diameter. Surrounding said indestructible platform is open ground, starting with simple grass and expanding to the surrounding trees until reaching, at near a half mile distance, upward climbing sheer cliffs.

Rules are as follows;

- First off, the rules that are already posted in the main sub forum.

- Any character who touches the ground outside of the ring for more then a ten second count, or equivalent three posts (real loose on the ten count ain't it?), will be disqualified from the match. This is literal Dark Tournament style fighting. So, be aware of where you're at, judges have the right to say your character was out of bounds for to long.

- Have fun, don't godmod, not complaining and leave me the heck alone until your match is finished.

"Ugh... c'mon! Almost... yes!" She laughed excitedly as she was finally able to get a hold of the top of the colosseum, making a small challenge for herself to climb the colosseum walls instead of entering normally. Once she was sure of her grip, she pulled herself up with ease, swinging her legs over the walls and into the stands. She pulled her gloves back to make them tighter against her hands, adjusting her customized uniform, looking that of a stereotypical kunoichi. She hopped down the steps, feeling fresh and limber as she did a few acrobatic flips and jumps until she made it all the way down to the arena.

She took a moment to stretch before she decided to look around for her opponent.

"Aww, come on. They're not even here yet? I even took my time in hopes of them getting here before me." Her full lips thinned out into a displeased expression.

"Dude...I really wanted to finish my nap.." Words from an unkown source came into view As a man with golden hair shunpo'ed onto the rin. God he hated getting up early for stupid matches and things like that, butttttttttttt couldn't really be helped. From sources he'd heard he was not the only one battling, their was Krin, Shan and others taking on people as well. "Guess me complaining isn't going to do anything." This man? The guy with the golden hair? His name was Demon Kazeka, captain of the second division and known simply as 'The captain with no blade.' Well, he had a blade, he was just more of a handsy type of guy. Blue iris's scanned the battlefield, so this really was a tournament? Wow, he would have thought this would be more 'Rwarrrrrrrrrrrr a** kicking time' than an actual tournament style match-up. Surprises Surprises.

After his examination Demon turned his body in a clockwise manner in order to see his opponent. Well, she was rather giddy that was for sure. Blinking several times Demon gave an almost robotic wave. "Hi, I'm Demon Kazeka. Nice to meet you." Yep, he was going to start this match off nice and on the right foot. His Haori was removed quickly, followed by his upper shirt in order to get comfortable. Krin had taught him to always go in a battle showing some form of prowess, Demons body could be this example. His shinigami bottoms remained the same as he exposed his muscled toned body, from being in the seventh division he had trained to be extremely fit, not to roids level, just normal fit guess you could say. "You seem rather excited about this, I'm glad." Personally he really didn't wanna do this but he had no reason not to and sitting in his office all day wouldn't help his health either.

Was he to make the first move? Nah, Demon never did that. He always allowed his opponent to go first. "I'm guessing by your uniform you too are a speed type shinigami. Good, just make sure you don't fall behind." Time to get started, his Haori flying off as wind picked up, blowing his hair slightly to the left. "Ladies first..." Muttering that he awaited her next move, not in seeming to go into any type of stance for battle. I mean why would he? Showing off all his cool moves would only make this fight lame.

She stopped moving the moment he spoke, taking a read on his reiatsu. There wasn't much to feel, so he had to be relaxed. That, needed to be fix. Quickly. She turned around, assuming a basic offensive stance as she looked over her opponent.Just some run-of-the-mill pretty blonde boy it seemed. He looked strong and fit, but then again a lot of her comrades were as well. But she had no choice to but to assume he was strong, if anything a member or at least ex-member of seventh squad. The haori he tossed aside told the obvious. That he'd be able to at least a little while. Chuckling at the thought, not even completely listening. But as perceptive as she was, she still had to assume that he was too. Her height would easily tell him she didn't have much of a reach, but because of her frame and lithe, strong build she had the speed to make up for it. The fact that they couldn't use shikai either would of sent of another signal. She didn't have a blade visible, and of course that wouldn't be too hard to miss. At the moment she had the upper hand. Hopefully, that just made him think she was being too cocky for her own good. That would let her get in the kill. Her left foot forward, her left hand clenched into a fist at her ribs, her right hand open at her chest and her right foot moved back. She wasn't going to just jump in. Not without properly knowing what he could do... that would be suicide.

"Emily Boelba Cruz..." She said back to him, she wasn't going to bother saying much else for the time being. Until she was allowed to fight serious, or rather use her full shikai, she needed to be a few steps ahead of this guy.

'Ladies first', he says. Don't feed me that chivalry s**t. I'll rip out your throat. She smirked as she slowly shook her head side to side. She motioned for him to come at her instead with her right hand, as she slid her left thumb across her neck. This was going to be her first serious fight in a long, long time. She was just going to beat this guy. She was was going to outright slaughter him with her bare hands. She inched slowly towards him, just close enough for her to simply strike him with a punch if she wanted to. Like any other fight, if she was going to win quickly, she needed to be close. She tensed her muscles, moving her hands forward to grab a hold of his head. She made sure to at least move slow enough to block if needed as she brought her leg up to knee his solar plexus.

"Fancy smancy name yah got there. I'm kinda jealous." His name was rather plain when it came to hers and Demon felt quite inadequate. I mean her name was Emily something something Cruz. Who wouldn't want an extra sexy name like that? A brow arched slowly as he looked her over, taking in everything which was being seen. "Hmmm...wonder how old she is?" Why would Demon wanna know her age? Well according to experience and thorough fighting prowess Demon had the upper hand, unless Emily was over 200 years old that is. She had no blade at her waist, meaning either it was already released or she simply didn't fight with it on her. That in itself meant she was already holding back some tricks in this fight. Demon on the other hand had his blade shown, plainly smack dab in the open. A long black katana lay in a sheath, that having latches of every kind shown plainly. A large silver star lay on the blades middle, though it couldn't be seen simply because of what was before mentioned. His eyes watched her go into whatever stance she was planning on using, being that it was something Demon himself hadn't seen before he could only guess it was her own specific style of hand to hand combat.

That was the first mistake of the battle, coming to Demon head on without performing any type of technique beforehand. She was definitely eager to get this fight on the road simply from the moves she was using, which only meant playing with her wouldn't do much good. Usually his way was to play with an opponent, nudging them here and there only to get out all of their technique. With Emily, simply because of her movements, Demon wouldn't do that. A respect aspect also came into play, being that Emily didn't seem like the type of woman to take him holding back lightly and probably be rather angry with him. As we all know 'God have no fury like a woman's scorn'..or something like that. "Really? Such theatrics are what kids do." Moves such as the SUPERCOOLFINGERACROSSNECKDEATHFINISHER was for inexperienced fighters who enjoyed the pure lust for battle or those of the 11th division. After such a long time Demon had forgotten that lust for fighting, enjoying only the occasional spar.

Movement, attack, shifting, thrusting, then the kill. From the way she came at him he guessed she intended to finish this fight early? Or perhaps he was reading too much into her movements. Her hands outreached but would only grab onto air as Demon moved swiftly, seemingly flash stepping while he moved about. From his time in the Gotei his normal movements were as fast as a simple shunpo of about a Vice-Captains level, meaning his real shunpo was much MUCH quicker. As he stepped slightly to the left, only enough to dodge her reach, his arm moved almost instantaneously, aiming directly for her right arms tendon. By taking out the bodies muscle usage they would subsequently lose movement in whatever spot struck and with his knowledge of the human/shinigami body also being combined with his special style of Tenko Demon had the ability to cut through said parts like butter. As his arm moved it seemed his body was disappearing, his next step already being performed mid strike. Counter-attacking would be hard considering how quickly he moved. It was interesting, even with all this his reiastu hadn't even peaked in the slightest, meaning either he had extreme control OR he was using a very basic level of combat. Guess you could say both.

The moment he moved, it definitely made her realize that he was a quick foe.

Ugh, this is going to take forever if thats the case. She immediately dropped her form, as he swayed to her left. More than likely he was going to snap back with an attack with the speed he wants to display. Her reiatsu surrounded her legs and as soon as he retaliated, she disappeared in a flurry of dust, sliding back a few feet from the momentum of the sudden movement. The dust settled as quickly as she moved, showing impressions in the ground from her shukuchi technique. She was grateful to know it because odds are he was planning on taking her down just as she was to him.

"Does the pretty boy really hit girls? For shame. Chivalry must definitely be dead." She said jokingly. She leaned back to crack her back a little, almost as if she was taking the whole ordeal lightly now. She ran her fingers through her hair.

"Just a few more lovetaps and we'll actually be able to play, Domon." She said, mispronouncing his name on purpose, questioning to herself if that'd get a rise from him. She picked up a different stance this time, hopping lightly from one foot to the other. She let her arms dangle at her sides, more or less to leave herself open. A stance she picked up from watching her vice, and after theorizing it a bit she figured it was best used against armed opponents. A situation which always seemed relevant... until now. She wasn't too sure of his swordsmanship, but he definitely seemed to be a more of a martial artist, she assumed that because of that, his swordsmanship had to be lacking to some extent. That was a toss up on the odds, but with her confidence she put it in her favor. The issue was though, how was she going to get him to draw his weapon?

Hopefully, the seemingly lackluster stance she held would draw him in, but then again with her own display of speed made evident, he may begin to question whether this was an opportunity or a ruse to get a clean hit off of him.

Perhaps she thought by running away she'd avoid getting hit or even by using whatever speed enhancing trick she could get herself out of this situation. How foolish to think that. A step occurred right after she moved, Demon himself disappearing as Emily did. It seemed the move she was using wasn't a shunpo, so it had to have been something on another scale considering the speed level. As the dust cleared both fighters would seem to have disappeared off the stage floor, but what exactly had become of them? Well, those watching would see Emily appear first, looking and talking to nothing but air. Where exactly was the pretty boy in which she constantly spoke of? Well by the time she finished with her second sentence Demon would be seen appearing behind her, using a technique much similar to the one she herself had used. "That move.....it's almost identical to my own." Was she copying his technique? No, that was just impossible. He had never met her before and probably would have known if any spies had been sent to him during his long training session. Both techniques seemed to use the exact same principles, though it seemed that Demon was a little more refined in the usage of his. His technique, much like hers, used reshi to make himself move quicker. Unlike hers however it was still some kin to a shunpo and was promptly named 'Kairopo' or 'Pulse Step' being much quicker than a flash step.

Attacking from behind was indeed predictable and such a ploy Demon wasn't known for using. Usually he'd come straight on at his opponents without much of a care, being that his speed had surpassed most all those in the Gotei Thirteen. Of course the head captain commander was always rearing to go in a race but usually Demon was the one who came out on top and they'd raced over 10 times. Still, he guessed that this woman could obviously hold her own in a match up of speed and because of that his usual methods for fighting were placed aside for the time being. Instead he'd have to use all the knowledge he'd gathered over his years in the Gotei and completely kill this woman without a second thought....but deep down he knew he'd never be able to do something like that. With all that thought through and with no other choice Demon decided to use a technique which could effectively end this woman without killing her. Suddenly his Zanpaktou was drawn, what exactly was he planning if he wasn't trying to kill her?

To seal both the bodies spiritual links, chain binding and soul sleep. That is the technique Demon had come up with. Reading about it back when he was the captain of the 6th division and mastering it in his training to become the 2nd divisions head captain. A move which he had only tested on two other people and those two couldn't use their spiritual abilities ever since. Was this a curse? No, simple knowledge he'd picked up and put into practice. His blade came sliding from within it's sheath quickly, black tinted in a blur as the attack went spurring forth. "Senka!" For a moment and only for that moment, Demons reiastu sky-rocketed to it's true height. Using senka in a mixture with his style of Zanjutsu wasn't something he'd do to just any old opponent..she should feel honored. The promptness and speed of the attack in question was extremely hard to tell. To anyone who wasn't a speed type shinigami it'd like as if Demon was simply standing behind Emily, not making a move. To he and the woman, the battle was raging. His swordsmanship was also unique, created a very long time ago when he and Krin were still students under the second division. It was known as the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuukuzuryuusen and Demon hadn't even shown it to anyone in the Gotei yet. Lucky for Emily she'd get to see it first hand.

If his attack landed, as it was aimed for the spot right underneath her right shoulder blade, Emily's reaistu would be sealed. Hopefully this attack would finish her and Demon could go take a nap somewhere.

Her senses perked up the sudden pulse in reiatsu, her heartbeat was thumping mad, as she held her breath. She leaned forward to start her shukuchi as she didn't see her opponent in front of her, so of course he had to be behind her. It was then her shikai activated. The cloth wrapped around her body in no time at all, knowing that protection was definitely needed. She wasn't going to make it, and the fear of a mortal wound had struck her before the blade, which only made the activation more prominent. With force behind the pretty boy's zanjutsu, she was sent across the ground, rolling about like a rag doll until she hit the wall where the benches resided behind it. With a loud thump, she slumped to the ground.

It did take a moment, but Emily soon rose up, a hand caressing her back. There was something different about her however. A difference that Demon would be able to clearly see. Unknown to him, the weird coloring of her 'skin' had detailed that her shikai was finally active. She sprang back with life as she stretched for a moment.

"Heh, if you was going to do something drastic like that, you should of did it from the get-go, idiot. Now that I can use her, you're screwed." She said, making a reference to Divina, her zanpakutou, or rather second skin. A skin-tight bodysuit of the brightest blue and ivory white you could see, or rather after she pulled off her uniform. Her reitasu bursts forth from her gloves a little as if she was taunting him to go after now that she could really let loose. She kept her distance however. If anything, the smart move would be for him to release his shikai as well, but who knows what it could be. And for that, she needed to make sure she had the distance to move. As a precaution, she used the first of many techniques. One of which to make her defense a tad more fortified.

"Rengeki." She said calmly, her body glowing a little as the technique was active. She smirked as she readied her stance once more.

Now he'll have to hit me with a physical attack to actually do some good damage, but that'll also mean that he'll have to get in close too. He's done. Her rengeki ability was a leeching technique at its base, the ability to absorb the energy from an attack, be it normal or having an elemental affinity for her own use at the cost of still enduring the damage of the attack itself. But with her tactical planning, if it came to him attacking her, she would just increase her spiritual pressure to lessen the damage and absorb the attack to gain back what she lost. She would just tire him out! And if he had the ability to use the elements she could use it against him, though that only seemed to work against multiple opponents.

She was confident once more, she definitely had her bases covered now. As long as she didn't let on what Divina's abilities were too early, she would have this in the bag.

Yes! Finally it was time to get some sleep! Demon was extremely happy now that this entire thing was over and he could go off to get himself some well deserved peace. At least that's what he thought as she attempted to escape is Senka and went spiraling off into the stands, how wrong he was to assume this fight was over already. "When I hit her there was something blocking the sharper end of my Zanpaktou. Some type of barrier. What exactly had she placed up?" It seemed Emily had some type of defensive maneuver ready for such an occasion and that would only prolong this fight much longer than he wanted. He arched a simple brow as the dust clear, Emily standing with some new type of suit on her. "Well that's quite the fashion statement you have going for you." Just from it's appearance and the way the suit appeared when she needed Demon had drawn some conclusions from his last strike. "...Hmmm..I'mma take a wild guess and correct me if I'm wrong but...that little skin tight cat suit your wearing. I do believe it's your shikai." Yeah it pretty much had to be. Her Reiastu level had indeed risen some and that suit appeared smack dab in a situation when she needed it the most, telling Demon that she had some type of serious connection to it.

Good, her shikai was active, which was entirely fine by Demon. Defeating her without releasing his Zanpaktou could easily be done but first he needed information. "Idiot? Whoa now. Those are fighting words and the fact that you had to release your shikai in order to stop such a basic move meant you were backed into a corner and this fight has barely even begun. So, rethink what your saying child." From the way she acted and her entire 'frontal' fighting style Demon had come to the conclusion that she was no more than a baby shinigami. Thinking things through might be better than trying to be all cool. "Also, my strike from earlier hit you, meaning only one thing that I needed to know in this fight and that one thing shall lead me to victory. I'm faster than you." Clearly he was if she barely got out of his Senka, there was no doubting it now.

A superior smirk came over Demons lips before he let his Zanpaktou came to his side, eyes plainly looking over to the bab-err Emily. It seemed she'd activated some type of technique, probably to give herself an edge, fool. She had no edge. "That suit of yours, I say it amplifies your bodies defense, taking the fact that you took my blade forcefully and came out with little to no wound, impressive. I'm also gonna take a stab at saying it holds more than just defensive power." All this information came from the encounter he had just had with Emily moments ago and he quickly stored it in his memory so that finishing this fight would be much sooner than later. His free hand came outward and in all of a moment his reiastu flared. "Carriage of thunder, gap of a spinning wheel, together with light, divided into six. Bakudou #61 Six Staves of Blinding Light!" A moment later six bars of reshi appeared directly around Emily's body, going inward in an attempt to bound her. If hit moving would be almost impossible.

"Oi oi! This girl is kinda fun to play with Demon-kun" A voice spoke but only Demon himself could hear. "Yeah, shes interesting to say the least but she's way too young for my tastes." Not that he was flirting with her or anything, just saying. "Plus, Solange would be rather pissed if I were flirting with other girls so I'll keep that to the barest of bare minimums." Once he got back to Soul Society he'd have to thank Solange for the mass of Bakudou training. After a little conversation with his Zanpaktou Demon watched, ready to move in an instant if that were to be needed. So far Emily was putting up a rather good show, he hoped she'd continue to do just that.

"How'd you figure that one out, genius?" She said in a sarcastic tone, trying her best to keep herself relaxed. Getting flustered was only going to cause her to make mistakes like before. She was lucky her shikai jumped into high gear at that moment, as she was sure that would of been over for her otherwise. The way he voiced his 'observations' were beginning to wear on her patience though.

"Like I need you to point out the obvious, fool." She said taking a deep breath as she listened in on his incantation to figure out what exactly he was doing.

Thats definitely kidou... no, bakudou. As he finished his spell, she crossed her arms across her chest, letting the bakudou hit her. She needed to get her point across that he was going to have to try much harder than a simple bakudou. ESPECIALLY sixty one. It wasn't the first time she was bonded in such a technique and with enough force and pressure, you can easily break though. Something she would be able to do, no problem.

"Afterburner." Almost immediately, her reiatsu was amassing around her arms, close to her elbow. As her energy collected itself, it was compressing itself more and more, creating more pressure about itself and even some heat form the friction of the compression. Once she collected what she had assumed was enough. She let it out in one strong burst, using the propulsion of the attack to force her arms against the rods to put an immense strain its structural integrity. Sure enough, within a few seconds, the bakudou broke. It was definitely a mistake of his to not go on the offensive while she had him bound, but no matter. Hopefully, the message was more than clear enough.

She motioned for him to come at her, as she mouthed her next technique, 'Afterfang', in a low murmur. Her reiatsu collected around her arms again, this time the compression fluctuating a bit as her energy spread across her forearms and hands. Her reiatsu compressed itself to a fine edge along each finger, almost mimicking that of claws. She assumed a different stance this time, mimicking tai-chi almost, her movements being fluid in nature now as slowly moved her hands around her person, making sure to keep her eyes drawn to Demon. This however had a different purpose. The odd fluctuations of her reiatsu were not because of her afterfang technique, it was because she was projecting barriers around herself. Though the barriers she fashioned were only as wide her forearms, she needed to constantly move them about to fortify them further. Of course, normally one would pick up on this and she figured he would too, which is why she decided to form barriers in the guise of her 'tai-chi' stance. It was an odd feint, but she was sure that at this distance, it would be more than difficult to see them, at least until he drew close enough to attack her. But by then, if he broke through any of her barriers, she would be more than prepared to attack back. She wasn't going to make any other mistakes happen, she had to keep to her general planning and get him to mess up himself.
**I figured it would be best if I gathered some visual aid to help out with you picturing exactly what she was doing, since I wasn't too sure if I had worded it the best I possibly could. What she is doing specifically is her own take on Chen style Taijiquan (taichi) Simplified 38 step routine. Shown here**

Sooooooooooooo..what exactly had she proven? That she could break a kidou? Whoopie dingle do! Who couldn't do that!? I mean really. A bit of sarcasm laced Demons thoughts as he watched the woman display her 'Prowess'. "Nice job using energy you might need for this fight." Yeah, it was really smart of her to use extra power to break a kidou which she most likely could have dodged. Unlike her he had used little to no energy in this entire fight while she was expending it with all of her different advances. First the shikai release, then this extra bit of power shown moments ago and now...claws? Was she some type of kitty cat? "Your calling me a fool and sarcastically using the word genius when the upper hand is still mine. Your so young....no more than a child." It was obvious to him now and it had become a bit of an annoyance at the same time. Shifting slightly onto his left Demon brought his Zanpaktou upward as the hot friction was released into the air, blowing his hair back from the midst of pressure. Such fierce reiastu she was using. Perhaps it would be better for her to calm herself and rethink the situation at hand.

Ah, but Demon mustn't get too cocky as it could very well spell the end for him. So instead he'd take her seriously and fight her with little to no restraints? Maybe? "Alright then..." His clam demeanor seemed to stay the same but in actuality one could tell that something had happened deep within Demon. Krin, Shan, all the other captains who knew him could tell when this shift occurred and it wasn't something to face with happy intentions. Suddenly, his eyes shifted into a tanish color, more wild than before and his reaistu began to rise, suffocating the very air as it did so. "No more holding back...." The amount of pressure formed shook the entire arena floor for all but a moment, then it stopped as Demon calmed himself. Blinking slowly he brought his blade outward before placing it within it's sheath, hand to hand combat was Demons specialty though it was adept in Zanjutsu it just fit him a bit more. Breathing in Demons body began to pulse with a mass of energy, blowing outward around him in every dimension.

The floor of the stadium under him would not be effected, considering what it was made up of. "Child..have you heard of a technique called..Shunko? Being that you seem to be of the second division as well I would think you'd have proper knowledge of the technique. If not then I will teach you of it's properties.." The easiest way to learn is first being shown correct? So in order to teach her he'd have to show her..correct? As his logic was complete a simple nod came before the energy compressed itself completely upon his body. Time to move. With his Shunko came a boost of speed as the power massed both around his legs and arms, meaning his striking power increased drastically as well. Take both of those into effect and Demons master of Hakuda you had a fighting style which would promptly rip though any barrier you would attempt to put up, her shikai skin included. Plainly he watched her movements before taking a single step forward, right when the bottom of his heel hit the ground a disappearing act occurred, Demon gone as he moved forward towards the child.

"My ultimate form of Hakuda, Sairento Tenko --Silent Force Palm--" A voice would be heard as Demon appeared directly in front of her, body down as his arm extended outward directly in front of her stomach. A mass of spiritual pressure came flooding outward from his open hand, blowing outward. The reason why this was so powerful was because of the mixture being used. Instead of simply punching and kicking Sairento Tenko 'pushed' reiastu from the body, allowing for a more precise attack. Her skin was tough but seeing as Demons combination wasn't anything more than blunt trauma then most likely it would effect her. His body glowed wildly with the power from Shunko, his eyes dead set on her movements. Hand to hand was always dangerous, but when it came to Demon using it one could say it was on a new level of danger, code red to be precise.

(Not too sure if its too late, but I'll just post anyways. Work and sickness had made my time pretty hectic.)

She inhaled through her nostrils as he started to blabber about again. She relaxed herself as she stopped her afterfang technique still maintaining the energy she was using. The barriers were up, that was definite, and more than likely whatever he would try to do would have to hit hard. Case in point when she picked up on him mentioning shunko.

Ok then, shunko. I already know about that. Big waste of time that thing is. Why bother showing off all that power? Thats only telling you're opponent to be careful, not rush in... god, how did he even survive this long in battle. Likely only fought hollows or something. Either way, I already know how to stop it

She still kept her form, making it a little loose as he started his advance, using shunpo to advance quickly. It was an obvious tactic, and with all the reiatsu he was expelling from shunko, it wasn't even difficult to continue to track him. As he started to break through the barrier, she had to wait until she was able to determine his target.

My stomach... She realized as she snapped into action. She moved down, sliding her right leg beneath him. She turned to her side to move out of the way, bringing her right hand down to redirect the attack towards the ground and swinging it back up to block if he tried to use his other arm to attack. Either way, this moment was perfect. With force and precision as her guide, she went to grab a hold of his face to apply her own technique, Souan. A technique that her sister had taught her, a move that forced her reiatsu inside her opponents body repeatedly like a piston, its purpose being to shake and rattle the insides at an alarming rate. She wasn't going to kill, but of course she'd try to shake him up a bit, disorient him at best. She was beginning to enjoy herself, the fear she had briefly was gone.

The young girl showed some promise in her skill, that was for sure! Though this would do little to change the fact of who had the upper hand in battle and Demons had would be at the proverbial top, not allowing the little Baby-chan to get back on her feet. She should have thought about her movements before making them as in this entire battle Demon had already thought of steps to take in order to combat any skills she might have up her sleeve. Offensive...and defensive of course! As her foot slid outward Demons other palm slid downward, using a bit of pressure from his technique to unless a type of rocket effect, aiming towards the ground as she had done with his redirection. The result was him going upward, his entire body now in the air above her, meaning whatever move she used would grasp nothing but his left over reshi particles which lingered where he once was. His eyes planted on her, not wanting to give much of a chance for countering his movements, this one being a surprise as it wasn't really a true part of his move set, just something to think up on the spot.

His palm went back, building up pressure in his arm whilst she was still moving forward, unleashing a hard outward pressure moving directly downward as she was now underneath his floating form. His movements were precise and didn't seem to skip much of a beat. The pressure from his first attack had actually left a large dent in the arena floor, not cracking it. This meant his technique was more of a one strike thing than a large blistering attack, giving him a more type of precis lock-on-ish type of view on where his move went. Take that into consideration and it basically meant Demon rarely missed these types of movements and with her now being directly under him that left maybe three ways should could get out of this blow. One, she could very well use her speed enhancing trick again but that would waste reshi. Two, she could simply let her skin take the hit but if she did that who knows what the after-effect may be. That could do more damage than good. Three, well she could probably figure out some creative way of dodging the blow, but that could also prove to go against her if Demon thought of another way as well.

It was clear who was ahead in the battle and who probably could use a tad bit more training. This wasn't to say Demon looked down upon baby-chan, no, that wasn't the case in the slightest. She was just far too rash and obviously enjoyed taunting an opponent, meaning her fighting style was at least 100 years to young for Demon to face without having the need to scold her. Still he'd teach her a lesson about battle one way or another...wait...was that a rant about age!? Oh no! This meant that Demon was indeed old!!! Agh!
