After Iz "adopted" Kassendra from a nearby orphanage, the duo wandered aimlessly until they stumbled upon a old abandoned house in a city called Revenant City. The house was faded and deteriorating from age, but it was a safe haven from the outside world and the man who was trying to kill Iz. All who attempted to enter risked never seeing the outside world again. So to all who dare enter... Welcome... to the end of your life as you know it...

Lilith's ears rang even with the plugs Iz gave her She had her eyes close because she couldn't keep them open

 About a minute later, Iz came to a stop at a large, decaying wooden fence at the base of a hill. "Hmm... It seems I passed the house," Iz muttered. Then smiled. "You may feel a bit dizzy for a while since this is your first time and all," Iz called to Lilith.

She held tight to him with her eyes still closed she couldn't hear a thing

Not hearing a response, Iz simply made his way through a hole in the fence and carried Lilith slowly up the steep hill.

Feeling him walking again she took off her earplugs and opened her eyes "Where are we?" She felt dizzy as soon as she opened her eyes

"This is a city called Revenant City. Currently, I am carrying you up a hill to the place I call home," Iz stated bluntly. Iz then stopped walking about halfway up the hill.

"Oh nothing," Iz replied somewhat distractedly. "Hey look, do you think you could hop off my back for a minute?"

She nodded and stepped back. She wobbled a bit and leaned on him for support "S-sorry"

Iz looked at Lilith with a gentle smile on his face. "You can get back on if you like, but first..." Iz pulled a small bird from his pocket, cupped it in his hands, and whispered something inaudible to it. Then he let it fly away, sat down and closed his eyes.

She stood feeling a bit sick and looked at him curiosly

Iz sat completely still, seemingly out of touch with the outside world. He sat like this for a good 5 minutes before he slowly opened his eyes with a mysterious smile on his face.

"W-what happened?" She looked at him a bit scared. He sickness made her body turn back in to her half vampire side
