Far beyond Gaia, past a sheild of mountains, lies a large barren land. The earth is scorched and few plants can grow in the vast plainlands. Volcanic activity is daily, and the only river flows at the center of the nation. Who could live in such an inhuman habitiat? Only one race...the dragonkin. Clans and families of dragons live in small separate villages close together. Dozens of small towns cover the land as far as the eye can see. But at the center of the land, lies the huge capital. Huge buildings that reach to the clouds are safely behind golden, jeweled walls that hold beauty not even an elf could craft. In the city square, the river runs through a crystal and ivory fountain as merchants from all over the land gather to exchange rare meats and gems that could make even the most selfless monk lust for. And at the very heart of the city, stands the largest and most beautiful structure of them all, Bahamut's castle, home to the great Dragon lord and his queen.

rook and zing landed right at the border between gaia and draconia and waited sky's arrival"why do i have to come"whinned zing"because we have to know that lord bahamut will accept both of us as solders"rook replyed

Skyeheart appeared before them in a black traveller's cloak and handed both of them one as well.

"There. If we start now it should take about three hours to get to the city gates."

"privided we walk"said rook lifting a finger and in the process a large stone crate but with no lid and it was long enough to acomidate all of them,hopping in with zing on his tail he said"i figure we can get there in an hour and break from the crat half a mile away so not to cause suspisicion,hop in"

"There are wards and patrols everywhere being that the villages are so small and far apart. You'll be detected within moments if you used such methods.

"should have though of that,things never come easily,come on zing"rook said this almost laughing at himself and lowered the stone back in to the ground.after that was done he head off into the desired direction.

The walk was rather uneventful.
All that could be heard were the rumbles of ashclouds and mountains on the horizon.
At last they came to the walled city.
Skyeheart, however, moved to the side away from the front gates.

not asking questions rook followed sky only to stop to make zing get in the middle so they wouldnt loose him,not that anyone was gonna take him but that he would get disracted

Skyeheart slid his claw along the edge of a rock next to the wall. A draconic symbol glowed and a passage opened up.
"As you know. This is but one of the captials of Draconia. Secret passageways were made in case spies form other provinces were already in the city. We'll use them to avoid being noticed by the citizens."

rook really could only follow about half of the disscussion since his fsther never taught him dragon tongue,however rook was abit amazed to see another of his fathers spiecies,but did not stop to gawck,he made sur zing was following him and followed sky
