Edits Scale
Note: Removing wings/accessories from species such as Angelics, Nightmares, Fae, etc to make them essentially Normals on different lineart does not count as an edit.
Minor Edits: Visual sample Visual Sample A minorly edited kitsu can include up to three of the following edits (bullet points): • One, two or three pieces of basic, SIMPLE custom jewelry (example: necklace + bracelets + hairclip = 1 minor edit) • One small detailed piece of jewelry (example: necklace with glowing dragon pendant & mist) • Expression Edit (eyes, mouth, and/or ears in different "poses") • A basic custom clothing accessory (hat, ribbon, bowtie, leg bandages, normal scarf etc.) • Short to medium length custom hair; some long hair may count if the style is simple enough • Small animal or a small item (butterflies, basket-in-mouth, a frog on a toadstool, lantern, etc) - must be fairly simple
Moderate Edits: Visual Sample Visual Sample A Moderately edited kitsu can include up to three of the following edits (bullet points): • Up to 3 minor edits (You can use more than one "bullet" for extra minor edits. Each bullet allows up to 3 minor edits.) • Long and/or more complex custom hair (like, going past the knees/draping on the ground) • Some kind of minor change to the stock tails (slightly longer, thinner, more fur, etc) • Minor changes to stock wings on species that have wings (ex: longer feathers on the end of Angelic wings, etc) • Minor body edits (simple wings added to species that normally don't have wings, slight facial shape changes, one paw missing a toe, half of one leg being a peg leg, etc) • Complex Jewelry/Accessory (a large detailed piece or group of detailed pieces- celtic knotwork necklace with gems, stereo headphones with MP3 player, many flowers in hair, chains over body) • A piece of Partial Clothing, or single piece of simple clothing (really long wrap scarf, skirt, knapsack, shinguards, vest, shirt, pants, etc.) • One larger animal or item (cannot be bigger than kitsu's head in area - ex. a sword, a plush fox)
Heavy Edits: Visual Sample Visual Sample A Heavily edited kitsu can include up to three of the following edits (bullet points): • Up to 3 moderate edits (You can use more than one "bullet" for extra moderate edits. Each bullet allows up to 3 moderate edits.) • Very Long and/or Difficult custom hair (tons of hair - think Rapunzel, or cascades of wrapped/braided/twisted/curled hair) • Even more extreme changes to tails (dragon-like tail(s) on Normal, more or less than the standard for that species, very fluffy fur, draping on the ground, etc) • Major changes to stock wings on species that have wings (ex: complex dragon-like wings on an Angelic) • Larger/more complex body edits (complex wings on species that don't normally have wings, shape or size of leg(s) changed, lots of spikes/horns/etc added to body, etc) • Full body detailed jewelry (majority of kitsu covered in jewelry) • Clothing, per large item (ex. cloak, jacket, shirt+vest, skirt) • Most cosplays that are not simplified somehow to be minor or mod would fall into this category
Extreme Edits: Visual Sample Visual Sample • 4-9 Heavy Edits • Very complex Cosplays • Very complex changes to tails (9 tails swirling all over the place, so much fluff it's covering up a lot of the rest of the body, etc) • Several major changes to body (i.e. scaling/armor all over, dragon wings, dragon tail, changes to face, basically a case where you make the kitsu look a whole lot like another type of creature) • Colorist discretion if they believe something else you want warrants this category
