The school jazz band gets invited to the nationals pretty much every year, but for once they're not a plane trip away, so we actually get to go!! There's a bit of pressure thanks to the fact we haven't got anything less than gold in the last 7 years we went, and nice stuff like really good records, but whatever, I'm so psyched!! Concert band might be going too, but whatever...

Just got the details yesterday..5 days. 15 000 people there. Worshops every hour of every day, and a concert every night with quality performers...i.e Diana Krall, who also did workshops last time. eek eek eek It's expensive, but selling chocolates isin't beneath me..
