Are you serious about writing and not just for fun? Get posting your projects here and how you're doing. Ensure you post regular updates on word counts for your projects, keep us updated on what pieces you send off, if you send out any queries or attend any relevant events... etc. In the next post I will keep tabs on people's progress and update as often as I can. 'We' can not make you keep pushing yourself, but hopefully having a community of like minded people to post progress to will keep you motivated. If you're struggling, post that too and as a group we will try to find ways around your issues. If you have a target you intend to hit, post it here and keep us updated on how you're keeping up. I will be Emailing the first chapter of my collab with Catherine to her tomorrow. She's writing a first chapter and we're going to compare to see which one we want to keep or if we want to combine parts of the pieces and go from there.

My weekly goal for the foreseeable future is a short story or poem a week. I'm behind this week, but have three that are on deadline, so we'll see how that goes.

Well, I was going for 75k for Blut by the end of the summer, but now I think I'll be lucky if I get 10k, haha. And now that I've ordered a bunch of new books to boot... Yeah, I'm gonna be distracted until NaNo, I think.

yeah i'm struggling with my targets at the moment too. just about managing 1500 a week. Keep falling behind so I'm only do that instead of the 3000 I want to get done.
