Starting with!

Alaken

Rhaze- Al loves Rhaze, because he's his brother and he admires his passion. However, he feels dodgy around him because of his temper and his iffy relationship with Nicolai. Most of the time he stays out of things, but sometimes he'll speak up about the lack of love in their relationship. The rest of the time they can be found playing silly magic games with each other and acting like wood nymphs. They train together often, but Rhaze has a tendency to either fight dirty or get angry at the huge magical gap between them. So it's mostly just mischief that works its way into their day.

Nicolai- Al has always felt a strange bond with Nicolai. Since he was the one who revealed that he was an Irikaran to him, he feels as if Nicolai saved him from the uncertainty that drove him mad on Elijarta. They trained extensively together and they trust each other like nothing else. They've been known to swing weapons at each other and even deadly spells knowing full well the other is skilled enough and smart enough not to kill them. Alaken percieves a deeper anguish lurking inside his brother, however, and seems pained whenever it occurs to him. Despite this perception, he almost never will speak up.

Kaiore- Due to their tie in the circle, these two are commonly flitting about each other and using spells in tandem. In a battle they are always dashing between each other and working illusions together for subdual. Teamwork is their biggest strength and they pull it off more than any other pair in the circle. As far as their personalities go, Al is always looking to Kai for amusement, although at times they wear each other out. They talk frequently and for long amounts of time, and they are engaged in conversation at some of the strangest times. Their intellects meet at a strange point and they intrigue each other greatly. Al thinks Kai is the most fun since waterfalls, but at other times wants him to just bug off and bother someone else.

Alijatra- Alaken barely speaks with Alijatra, mostly because Ali seems cold and distant to him. The two never felt a need to become really close. In battle they stay their seperate roles and almost never intermingle. When they do interact, they tend to show more respect for each other than necessary. This vexes Alaken, as he would love to be friends with the aloof stranger that Ali is, but that very nature keeps them apart.

Kori- Alaken and Kori are friends, but they became so out of respect for each other. Alaken feels that Kori is a strong and admirable person that he'd love to be more like someday. They speak frequently about philosophy and Kori presents Alaken's curious mind with thoughts so complex they often lead to days in meditation at the Netra Temple.

Taran- Alaken and Taran are often seen sitting together and musing on emotional issues, and Alaken comes to him when he desires a new take on an old problem. He finds Taran oddly deep for his naivety and treats him as a brother. He sees Taran as vulnerable and often does his best to try and keep him out of trouble, but the dreamy nature of the Sky Phoenix makes him hard to keep track of.

Jallai- These two can range from being the perfect magical pair to being the twin children of Satan. Nature is fickle, and as strong as her presence is in these two, things can get ugly if either of these two get hyper. Jallai is a mystery to Alaken, one he enjoys not knowing the answers to and spending time with to learn on his own.

Miashiu- Alaken is afraid of Miashiu. Very very afraid. His lack of emotion and lust for death is unheard of to Alaken. The only emotion Al can muster towards this enigmatic being is apprehension.

Nicolai

Alaken- The sheer purity Alaken puts forth is endearing to Nicolai and he finds himself willing to do just about anything for him. He trusts Alaken and at the same time feels protective of him. He's older by birth, but he feels as though Al is still a child and needs someone to guide him or he will falter.

Rhaze- Nic never found anything offensive about Rhaze. In fact, everything about him draws him to his fiery older brother. But they have a great lack of understanding, and that keeps them apart.

Kaiore- Nicolai is annoyed ENDLESSLY by Kaiore's spunk, but at the same time finds him to be the best friend anyone could have. The two can either be found having sarcasm wars or causing trouble with the other Irikarans. On a personal level, however, the two are actually a lot more open than one would expect. Or so Nicolai says.

Kori- The closest thing Nicolai has ever had to a best friend is Kori. The two talk frequently, drawn to each other's intellects. They share plenty of secrets, including the truth about Nicolai's limitations as an Irikaran, which he hides from the rest of the circle. He sees Kori as strong and admirable, sometimes taking it so far as envy. He feels he can never be as refined as the Ice Phoenix.

Alijatra- Alijatra, to Nicolai, is arrogant and cruel. His attitude makes him abrasive and Nicolai seldom wishes to deal with him. Past fights they've had have made Nicolai apprehensive of him, and he speaks to Alijatra as if trying his damnedest not to make him angry.

Jallai- Nicolai sees himself as a sort of guardian and keeper for the skittish Earth phoenix. He sees her as vulnerable and naive, despite the wealth of power she possesses. He figures in time she'll be the one protecting them all, but for now she needs to be nurtured to grow as a goddess.

Taran- Being the only sibling Nicolai remembers throughout his youth, these two have bonded the best as a family. They refer to each other as brothers despite the reality that they are second cousins. He surprisingly doesn't feel as protective of Taran as the rest of the Irikarans do. He sees him as strong and incapable of being overcome.

Miashiu- "Aww! WHY are you kill me so easily?!" -cringe- That's all there is to say. -cringe-

Rhaze

Alaken- Despite Rhaze's resentment of his family, Alaken is a very dear person to him. He is drawn by his purity and kindness, and believes him to be a perfect person in the way he treats others. However, sometimes he just wishes the poor kid would grow some backbone. He finds himself tiresomely defending his lack of confidence against others.

Nicolai- The relationship between Rhaze and Nicolai is complicated. Rhaze's side of it, admittedly the worst, involves a lot of resentment mixed with regret. Nicolai was the person who removed him from his happy home with the wolves and flung him into the heavy role of an Irikaran without his consent. He tries depserately to remember that Nicolai did it for the sake of everyone's lives, but somehow he can't shake the idea of what might have been. He can find himself angry at Nicolai for little to no reason, but he always finds time away from him to regret and punish himself for it. Since the incident involving Alaken and the Khridda in Starlaitia, there's just no rest for Rhaze's conscience. Still, he can't seem to get over how much he feels like he should be angry at Nicolai, despite how deeply he knows he loves him. In the old days he might have killed Nicolai himself (and did, mind you), but since then, he knows that no matter what, he'd defend his brother with his life.

Kaiore- Oh god get him away. Rhaze tries to avoid Kai a lot of the time, as Kai has far too much energy even for the Fire Phoenix. In a good mood, however, Rhaze and Kai are an impeccable pair. They rollick with jokes only they would understand, for all the humor in the world. Kai causes mischief with anyone, but with Rhaze, the two are downright dangerous. Rhaze's wild side is drawn to Kai's free spirit, though at other times put out by his immaturity.

Alijatra- Alijatra's deep consciousness and aloof manner are practically nonexistant to Rhaze. The two are best friends, as their link in the circle demands, and they are the most likely to wander off together while the others cavort about Circle business. They don't care, they don't get it, and they would rather return to the wild. Rhaze sees a loyal friend and a passionate person in Alijatra, despite the stoic and arrogant facade he gives the rest of the circle. He and Alijatra are most likely to fight in tandem, whipping up massive cyclones of fire with their combined magic.

Kori- Man, lighten up! Kori is just too old, too smart, and too much for Rhaze. The two scarcely get along, but Kori's wit keeps Rhaze in line enough to keep them from any massive fights. Rhaze sees Kori as stiff and lacking in real personality, but he has plenty of respect for the mysteries he can somehow detect surrounding Kori's demeanor. He tries to avoid grating Kori's nerves too much, but the fiesty fire spirit can't always be expected to conform.

Taran- Rhaze is always going to be slightly suspicious of Taran. The first time they met was in battle, so he is always on his guard, if just a little, around the skittish little Sky phoenix. It took a while to develop any real feelings toward Taran, but Rhaze finds Taran to be endearingly pathetic. Maybe it's his wolven instincts, but despite his apprehension, he still finds himself treating Taran as a pup of his. The little brother of the circle may be weak, but he won't allow anyone to harm him.

Miashiu- HATE. Pure hatred. This jerkface shows up out of nowhere, slaughters his brother, attacks everyone in sight, and then has the UNBELIEVABLE NERVE to chase his GIRLFRIEND.

Jallai- Argh. Annoyance is something Rhaze doesn't stand too well with, and Jallai is a perfect example. Her spritely voice and her bouncy demeanor make her a grating thing, especially to one who much prefers the quiet company of his dear Mackenzie. When Jallai's squeaking whines start up, Rhaze is out of the scene faster than light.

Kaiore

Alaken- Yay Al! Kai and Al are close, and Kai sees him as the best friend everrrrrr plus one. They compliment each other perfectly in their intellect and outward expressions. Kai sees Al as having inner torments he could never understand, however, and for the most part clings to Alaken as a way of consoling him without saying anything about it.

Nicolai- Nic. Nic, Nic, Nickynicnic. Such a bloody mystery. Kai has always seen himself as close with Nicolai, but is at his wit's end as to how to deal with his unwillingness to open up. He knows how deep his thoughts run, but he just can't get this ice to crack.

Rhaze- They tease, Rhaze even bullies, but these two are indeed friends, despite Rhaze's too-hot-to-touch exterior. If there's some sort of injustice, these two are right by each other's side, having yelling matches with the offenders and resolving the matter with sheer badassatry. Immaturity is the common denominator in this relationship, though Rhaze will refuse to admit that.

Alijatra- Kai and Alijatra have been friends since childhood, though in a vague sort of manner, and while Kai admits he knows little about him, he considers him a very close friend. Kai finds himself being "********" constantly by Ali.

Kori- As with Alijatra, Kori and Kai have been close friends a long while. They're intellectual partners, and Kori serves as a sort of mentor for Kai. They joke a bit but Kai finds himself calmed by Kori. He strongly admires him and hopes to mirror his composure someday... til then? It's fuggin party time!

Taran- Despite the fact that Kai is almost as much the baby of the group as Taran is, he sees himself as a stronger counterpart and guardian for the ickle Sky phoenix. His magic is downright scary to Kai sometimes, as he himself was the one to defeat his evil side and bring him to the circle, but he feels tenderly protective of the child in Taran. He won't let his duties kill the spirited little thing inside his younger comrade.

Jallai- Oh wow. Someone as downright bouncy as me! Kai loves her to death, as far as he can tell. She's such a joy and a great target to tease. They can team up to cause trouble like few others but are normally too dreamy to care about others' reactions. Like sunshine bursting through the canopy of leaves in a forest clearing. A rare and delightful sort of treasure.

Miashiu- ..... Is there an opinion to be had about someone this far above him? Too much to think about, not enough composure. Can't keep lunch down. Miashiu is scary.

Alijatra

Alaken- Alijatra's take on Alaken is thus- How in the hell can someone be so powerful if they have no backbone? He sees Alaken as sort of weak, and sometimes claims that Alaken is putting his power to waste. Mostly this is out of envy, as he believes himself to be the weakest of the Irikarans, but nonetheless, he respects Alaken and admires his kindness. Now if only Alijatra could be so nice.

Nicolai- There are mixed feelings like nothing else regarding Nicolai. The drama in Nicolai's emotions is somehow obvious to Alijatra, but rather than sympathize with all that angst, he sort of hates him for it. He thinks that Nicolai is needlessly obvious with his inner torments and couldn't be serious. Or at least he tells himself that. Deep down, he hurts for Nicolai, understanding well the idea of wishing for death.

Rhaze- For some reason, Alijatra and Rhaze just click. Rhaze is a wild one like Alijatra is, but mellow enough not to drive him insane. The primal sides to them bring them together, and they spend a lot of time together. Despite their closeness, there are things Ali will never divulge to Rhaze, though Rhaze would tell anyone that he knows everything about Alijatra.

Kori- Having been his only friend older than him, Alijatra seeks Kori out for moral strength. Since Qhashl's death, Kori has been the only vaguely draconic friend he has that isn't rooted in the tribal rituals to the point of being an annoying prickbag. The two of them are commonly found murmuring in Mitanese to each other in metaphors only the draconic would pick up. Their relationship, however, is shallow, and as with anyone, Alijatra tells him nothing.

Kaiore- Kai has been Alijatra's friend since birth, annoyingly chasing him as a toddler on his visits with his father. They are close, but moreso at Kai's prompting. Alijatra rejects Kai's attempts to get closer to him as much as he can, but he loves Kai's energy and won't push him away if it'll mean he won't see him for a while.

Taran- Despite constant reassurance from his mind that they aren't the same person, Alijatra feels a seething hatred for Taran that he can't reconcile. It was his face he saw when Amitaka was murdered, and it's very difficult for Alijatra not to snap at Taran, even for the slightest indescretions. As a way to make up for it he sort of coddles Taran, breaking his thick silence to bark protective warnings to him should he unwittingly endanger himself.

Jallai- A deep and intriguing mystery is apparent in Jallai's eyes, and Alijatra spends time thinking on her, wondering just what is going on in that deceptively foolish mind of hers. Her ties to nature make her a wonder for the earth-loving Wind phoenix, but her grating screams will often throw him into a cursing fit.

Miashiu- What opinion is there to be had? He's never crossed Alijatra, and he'd like it to stay that way.

Kori

Alaken- Kori is very drawn to Alaken, though he prefers to keep his distance for some reason. Alaken's energy is wild, in whatever emotion he currently experiences, and this tends to wear on Kori's mellow nerves, even if Alaken isn't showing it all that well. He prefers subtlety with Alaken, and likes to leave him with concepts to ponder on for later. The potential in Alaken's mind is huge to Kori, and he wishes to fuel it as well as he can.

Rhaze- Much like a hyperactive dog, Rhaze grates on Kori's patience better than anyone in the circle. He can dispel Rhaze's immaturity fairly well with a subtle bite at his intellect, but more often than not he just leaves him be. Little can faze Kori, and though Rhaze comes close, he can definitely handle him, especially if it means he can delight in his childlike philosophies.

Nicolai- Being the only other Irikaran with an intellect near his own, and willing to use it, Nicolai is the perfect confidant for the Ice Phoenix. The two are likely to be the only ones left at a gathering after everyone else has gone home, yammering away the night in poetic ramblings that could make anyone's head spin. Kori is aware that Nicolai hides his deeper torments from him, but he won't press it so long as he speaks to him at all.

Kaiore- Kai is a ray of light for Kori. Ever since they were young he was that too-happy-to-see-you person that you couldn't get enough of. He's sort of Kori's "pick-me-up". Kori loves Kai dearly, and sometimes will refer to him as his little brother. He has the spunk that Kori regrettably lacks, and Kori spends a lot of time hoping that Kai's bright disposition will rub off on him.

Alijatra- Kori wishes that Alijatra's silence would break, as he detects deep rivers of thought in those stormy eyes, but he will say nothing. He sees Alijatra as a sort of exotic flower, which will blossom on its own time. Through the years Kori had almost developed an attraction for Alijatra, but managed to overcome those feelings by dismissing them as a filial bond.

Jallai- Kori knows little about this jumpy, screechy sprite, but he respects her deeply and reveres her as a higher power than his own. Jallai of course is baffled by this, but Kori would explain his behavior by calling her his "elder". He's aware she's old- much older than she looks by a longshot- and holds a high respect for her latent power.

Taran- Like most of the circle, Kori sees Taran as in need of protection most of the time, but unlike the rest of the circle, he would insist that Taran's power is being supressed far too much. He encourages Taran to further his spiritual training, and sort of pushes him to be the best he can be. The Sky Phoenix's potential is limitless to Kori.

Miashiu- Kori is maybe one of the few Irikarans not bothered by Miashiu. He knows that his presence is necessary and beneficial to the circle and to all of Yyestalla, and he refuses to let anyone say otherwise.
