 Nude VersionIt was nice to get out and about by herself for a change. There was too much hustle and bustle back at the tee-pee with all of her extended family hanging around. The mare was handing, head bent to drink, at a shallow part of the stream. A leopard frog hopped past her, splashing her nose. The mare raised her lips from the water for a moment to watch where it was going in such a hurry.
"Curious." She murmured before shrugging it off as an excitable little creature and kept drinking.
It was rather hot for the cape and mask but to be honest, she was a little embarrassed about her smaller wings and while she could easily forgo the mask, she decided to keep the cape on.
It wasn't that Adoree was stuck up, but she did like to put her best hoof forward so to speak. Hence why she spent nearly half an hour on her mane and tail every morning before leaving. Her hair was prone to frizzing and it was days like this when she envied her mother who could just toss it up into a sloppy bun and go, with it looking wonderful.
It was cooler in the forest though. The dappled light allowed for some relief from the full brunt of the midday sun.

 The dark-coated stallion shook his head in frustration; there were a few strands in his mane that just would not stay put. They kept falling into his eyes, around his horn, and it bothered him. His green coloured wings fluttered as he huffed loudly. Shaking his head once more, Raivis was relieved when the few strands did not fall back into his face. With a grin, the stallion headed towards the stream that was not too far away from him, with his silvery mane and tail blowing slightly in the breeze.
As he neared the water, he paused. Someone was already there. Cocking his head to the side, he took in the sight of the mare. Raivis grinned, noticing that she had one cream-coloured ear, and one black ear; her hoofs were the same, her front set were one colour, her back set were the opposite. His thoughts then went from her colouring to her cape and her hair. He found it was rather elaborate to do ones mane up like that- let it run free in the wind was his preference; it was much easier, too. And...it was a bit hot for a cape, surely she was melting underneath it; it didn't look light. Getting past that, he was quickly captivated by her wings. They were utterly different from his own. They looked fragile, and beautiful; almost like they were made of a black lace with gold beading, to some degree.
Shaking himself from his thoughts, he edged closer to the water. Lowering his head, he kept an eye loosely on the mare. Taking in the cool water with an appreciative sigh, Raivis straightened himself with a loose grin.
"Hello." He spoke softly, not wanting to interrupt the silence of the forest. He'd decided that it'd be polite to at least greet the mare.

Merlot coloured eyes rose to meet the stallion. She offered a gentle, polite smile and a dip of her head. “Hello, sir.” The mare said, the level of her voice matching his own. The timbre it held, however, was sweet, lofty and feminine.
She really hadn’t expected to encounter anyone else today.
Adoree looked him over quickly and discreetly. His mane seemed to have been spun star’s silk, his wings that of the fabled faerie king she had been told about as a filly, and his adornments were equally as grand. She had never seen a flutter with a unicorn horn, though. That didn’t fit the description, so she was certain this was merely an exceptionally good looking stallion.
“Nice day isn’t it?” She asked.
