 "She shall have music wherever she goes~" Mahdi sang as she bounced along down the path, moving any old way which would let her hear her charms jingling about.
Her encounter a few nights back had been nothing sort of perfect. The dreams she'd walked since had been both enchanting and sweet. She felt like nothing in the world could possibly bring her down.
"Dance with me, sweet dreams, before I send you on your way~"

 Yukiko was walking alone. Like always, she had this icy aura that pushed others away. She grumbled some, as the wind blew and tasseled her mane. She had given up on many things in her life, she lost her family, and her dreams of having a happy family. And because of that, she never wanted to get close to anyone again.
And the last thing she wanted was to bump into someone pleasant... But it was unavoidable. And before she knew it, she was able to hear Mahdi.
"Oh... joy..."

As giddy as she was Mahdi probably wouldn't have payed the tiny horse any mind if her bright coat hadn't completely contrasted her gloomy face.
She came to a halt in front of the tiny creature. Her charms fell silent and her singing stopped. She just stared down at Yukiko with a big grin on her lips.

Yukiko looks up at her, a bit of a frown settled on her face. She was getting a headache just looking at the other mare, but she was currently blocking her way. Yukiko tried to avoid sounding 'rude' because that could cause confrontation.
She let out a sigh, and as the other mare fell silent, Yukiko was relieved. But upon further examination, the mare looked like she belonged in the night sky. "Hm..."

She titled her head, still grinning.
"You're such a bright little thing. Like a fallen star~ You should be in the sky, little one," she laughed gaily at that, as if she honestly thought it was funny. "Tell me why such pretty shooting star has such a long face?"

A shooting star? What was this mare on? Stardust? She looked like she was an icicle, and she was fine with that... "I think you have it wrong. I'm a frozen flake. Snow and ice are bright... You look like you fell right from the sky." She grumbled, avoiding the question. It wasn't any of her damn business.

"Snow and ice are bright because of the stars~ It's all the same light coming down from above, making everything bright!" she laughed. "I fell from the sky? No, no. Not everyone can have you're light. I'm of the night, but not the sky. I'm nothing but a wanderer."

"Does it matter if I'm bright, when my soul is dark?" She sighed and looked away. "You're from a land of dreams, and dreams don't exist where I am." She shook her head some.

"Aye," she nodded, trinkets jingling softly. "I'm the dream walker. My world is nothing, and everything. Void and eternity. There is nowhere it can't reach but alone it is without power."
She laughed, "What does it mean to be bright or dark? Is there no value in beauty on it's own? Is a shell ugly without it's crab?"

Well that answered that! She was the dream walking Angeni, the last horse she needed to meet... The one that could see her nightmares of her lost family. This put her into an even angrier mood, and had her aura been seen it it was jetting ice around.
"Of course it is. It's lifeless, and it's just another thing on the ground with no purpose."

"Well then little one! You need not concern yourself over such trivial matters. Your pretty shell certainly contains a crab!" she laughed again, not the least bit malicious.
"Smile, little one! It's not so bad!"

She let out a sigh, and shook her head, before ducking under, and weaving through Madhi's legs, and moving to work her way down the path behind the larger mare.
"Not everyone sees the world through a dream lens." She muttered back to her.

The smaller mare walking between her legs sent Mahdi into another fit of giggles. She didn't bother chasing after her falling star. After all, she wasn't being a pest intentionally.
"Maybe I'll see you on the other side, little shooting star! Safe journey and sweet dreams to you!"

Yukiko let out a frustrated noise as she rounded the corner. The mare she just encountered was FAR TO CHEERY. Yukiko had nothing to be cheery about. She trudged her way back to the snowy cave she lived in.
