It was pleasantly quiet in the woodlands today.
The sun was warm where it flitted down through the thick leafy branches to cast dappled shadows on the ground below, and tinting parts of the red Voronwe’s fur with green as he padded through the underbrush. His markings almost seemed to glow with their own light, though whether this was a trick of the eyes or some mystic thing was difficult to determine. A large wizardly hat was perched precariously on his head, so large and floppy that surely the only reason it stayed was because it was stuck on his horns. His paw steps were measured and careful, the long cloak wrapped around him possibly the reason for this sedate pace.
”Burdock root…burdock…where is that growing…” he was mumbling under his breath, pausing to scratch at the itch on his flank. He wanted to make something to help rid himself of the rash his latest failed attempt had given him, but he couldn’t remember where the burdock was growing… it was the right season at least, but he was further from his reclusive den than he liked to be. There were people around in this area, and he was nervous about possibly running into someone.

Perched high in a tree in the rays of the sun she scratched her long ears, oblivious to everything around her.
When something shiny caught her eye something red but she didnt know what. A quizzical look came across young thunder's face.

 Somewhere near, Diamonds was gulping the delicious nature water, When she glimpsed something shiny through many of the trees. "Hmm, what was that?" Diamonds though into her head. "Nothing i suppose," She continued drinking her water.

Ears flicked at several different kinds of noises, and Von'Uthreth paused to glance around with a wary curiosity. But water flow and tree movement were all a part of the natural world. The thick-furred tail flicked briefly, and he fought the urge to sit and claw at his itch. If he kept scratch, then it would start bleeding. Better to just find his roots and fix the problem than cause new ones.
With another glance around, he resumed his search, trying to find the oddly shaped plant. It must be around somewhere, it was certainly in season by now. How could it be so hard to find?
Well, the weather was warm enough to warrant a quick drink, and he supposed he might find the plant growing near the stream as likely as anywhere. With this in mind, he padded down towards the water he could hear, only to freeze as he realized he wasn't the only one looking to slake his thirst. Oh dear, he'd hate to disturb her, perhaps he should head downstream some more. Yes, that was a very good plan, just slink back into the trees before she turned around... Of course, he had no idea someone was already perched high in the trees.

Grooming her zigzagged tail she listened to the sound of the water trickling beneath her. "footsteps?" she thought to herself, no there hasn't been a soul here all day. Continuing grooming. Stop. "there getting louder" She stared frightened at the ground watching for the perp. When out from under her tree stepped a gorgeous red male "never seen one like that before, how strange" she kept watch silently with the only movement being the swish of her tail.

Something glittered in the waters reflection. Something shiny that looked much like the shining object Diamonds had seen earlier through the trees. She quickly looked behind her, but saw no one. She was no longer thirsty, She set up and flew up into the trees.

He'd just managed to vanish himself into the trees when, just like that, the pretty white dimonds girl flew away. Well...if she was done...then... With another glance around, though somehow it still eluded him to look up, the Voronwe padded down to the water to help himself to a quick drink.

As she flew up, She saw the swooshing of a yellow tail. Nothing gave her inspiration to fly over and check what is was, So instead of being the curious person she normally is. She flew up farther, but remember she had dropped a very precious item back at the spring. She headed back to retrieve it.

"Woah" she thought "two close calls"
As obsessed with her beauty as thunder was she has never had an actually interaction with another of her kind, so she was to shy to speak to anyone.
She slinked back close to her tree so she wouldnt be spotted, though as she did so she kept her eyes on the pretty brown male.

His thirst sufficnetly slaked, Von'Uthreth had resumed prowling and muttering to himself, as though asking the wind where he might find the odd round-blossomed plant might help him to find it more quickly. He itched unmercifully, and rather desperately wanted the roots to help with this rash. He was near the stream still, nosing through the brush and nearly loosing his hat on a branch as he did so.
Straightening once he'd disentangled himself, he shook his head and decided to simply follow the stream instead. Perhaps he'd find the burdock growing along its edge. And with that in mind, he set off along the streambank, nosing for any sign of the plants he needed, blissfully unaware of his audience.

As she flew close to the ground, She saw one of her kind. It was oddly dressed and looked wizardly. Diamonds quickly grabbed her jewel off the ground and quickly flew above the Magician, hoping he wouldn't see her. She had no clue she had just flew by the Creature with the yellow tail she had seen earlier.

Not wanting to disturb the others though wanting to watch thunder kept her eyes on the pretty red female so she wouldnt see her again.
Thunder wondered what the male was doing, looking around and muttering to himself. "maybe I'll keep my eyes on this one too" she said to herself, and she took off in the treetops silently watching the strange dressed voronwe.

Ahah! There it was!
Von'Uthrath sniffed at the plant experimentally, but in his experience nothing else looked quite like burdock. Taking care not to get the seeds stuck on his cloak, because they were almost worse than burrs when it came to removing them, he began to gently dig beside one. He didn't wish to hurt all of them, but he did so need the roots for his rash. Besides, the rest of the plant was usable as well.
Engrossed in his task, he still didn't notice that he was being watched. But that was probably for the best, because he did have such difficulty with other people. It wouldn't take him long to collect his root, and then he could return to his den and solve this itch before it drove him mad.

Diamonds heard a scutter and looked behind her, when suddenly she crashed into a tree and fell down onto a patch of uncomfortable odd shaped plants. In front of her was the magician she had seen earlier with a couple of the roots in his paw.
