A massive plateau on the side of the mountain, this is one of the most famous places in the world. Easily large enough to hold three fully equipped armies, it has seen more battles than any other place in the known world. Many colonies have tried to settle the plateau, as it would make a fantastic place to build a city, but they are quickly wiped out by the armies that try to take the plateau. If it's not the armies, it's the monsters from the mountain, trying to stop the encroachment of civilization on their territory.

It also makes a wonderful place for a picnic.
