The caverns that line this mountain are many, and dangerous. Monsters of all kinds call this mountain their home, and it is considered a safe refuge for beasts in need of shelter. Those who would come here to hunt however, are quickly expunged.

The caverns are maze-like in their complexity, having been dug into the mountain over eons of weather and cave digging. It would be nearly impossible for one who does not know the caves to escape them alone after going very far in. The animals that live here know the caves intimately, and it is their perfect defense.
