Between youthful recklessness and veteran experience, I'd choose the veteran any day. As Cloud may have the speed and the power, Auron can just choose to take a hit and counter with an attack to a sweet spot; enough to knock the kid down without dealing any serious injury.

I totally agree! Experience can make all the difference.

Auron of course. How can you kill someone who is already dead? And Cloud isn't someone who would go out of his way to figure that out.

I totally agree about the whole more experience of Auron the ex-Warrior Monk and former guardian to 2 High Summoners compared to a realtively fresh-faced infantryman with false memories of being a SOLDIER. Plus like metal_blossom said, Auron's an unsent, without a summoner to perform a sending, Auron's not going anywhere.

Auron is an experienced warrior and a legendary Guardian who even Maesters fear and respect.
Cloud is a failed Sephiroth clone and not even a real Soldier. He may still be powerful and built like a Soldier, but there is a difference between the two. A difference like that in my opinion makes all the difference.
Auron's experience and calm demeanor for the win.

Auron Is Wise, Strong, And Calm. He Considers All Of His Options Before Making A Move. He Is Feared And Respected, With Battle Experience. He Wont Jump To Conclusions.
Cloud Is A Unique Fighter, But Is Pretty Soft Inside. He Is Built With The Standards Of A SOLDIER, But Is Still A Failure. He Could Not Stop His Friend From Becoming Evil.
Personally, I Believe Auron Would Win. Cloud Seems Like A More Mature Tidas To Me. Auron Would Sustain Minor Injuries In A Battle Against Sephiroth, But Cloud ((Reference From Advent Children)) Would Get His a** Handed To Him On A Silver Platter Before Beating Sephiroth. Anyway, I Guess Its Not Right To Compare Them, Seeing As Though They're Not Even In The Same Game. Same Series... But Not Game.

They're both good but Auron would take Cloud down. Auron's got more experience than Cloud and already being dead sure helps a lot. When I think about it, I'd love to see this battle. It'd be fun to watch. biggrin

I agree that Auron would win but to kill something that is already dead all you do is use and elixer on it. razz But Auron would kill Cloud before he even got a chance to get his limit break.
