Hello, and welcome to my sketchbook. Why a sketchbook? Because these are basic pencil drawings. Whenever I get bored, I doodle. Sometimes I get something I like out of it. I'll post up the full image for about a week or two, but then I'll provide the link instead in this first master post. Posts here will include anything from full-on detailed sketches to drawings I did in the margins of my notes. It's whatever I feel like putting up.

So, please critique and laugh and enjoy!

Disclaimer: I have not taken art classes before. Well, there was that one time in elementary school when I took a day's art lesson. It had to do with colors and drawing still life. But, other than that, everything's self-taught.

I'll be darned if I can't get the scanning/coloring right. It's either too dark or light.

Hey, I'd have to say that you don't have to improve THAT much. These are great the way they are! You definitely have a knack for drawing. ^^

And, without further ado, my newest sketch. I like to think of it as a candid group picture. It's everyone who's been active in HA. (Yes, I know there are some people like Tao, but he hasn't been posting for awhile.) Basically, last Saturday I capped everyone's avatar and then I drew everyone in one place. It was kind of inspired by the image at the end of .hack//Legend of the Twilight manga that I remember, like this is everyone when they're unplugged.

Almost everyone is in alphabetical order according to Gaia username. Yes, I realize Aldrick and Ayamu are at the end, and there are one or two other people out of order, but veeeeery long story short I didn't plan well on fitting 18 people on one page. I'm still going to be making a lot of adjustments and adding more detail/refining before penning this (I really wish I had a tablet so I could draw in photoshop), so this is just a preliminary sketch. Also, I need to move Bard closer to the center. Maybe I could then move Aldrick over...

Number one complaint? GAIA AVIs ARE SO DETAILED. I can hardly make out half of what some of y'alls is wearing.
