A merciless airborne killer...
... Before history was ever recorded by man, a battle between great beings raged on. One of these beings was the almighty Takagumo, the Demon Hawk. He battled fiercely, swooping down from the heavens to attack his opponent. He was a proud fighter, and attacked, injured or not. When the other beings began to make their clans, he shook his feathers from his wings. The feathers fell and piled up, forming men and women. They had his speed and hunting prowess, but above all they had a drive to follow their ancestor into the skies. He blessed his people with a fierce intelligence, and they crafted the first machines.
These machines were quite the invention. They were to be worn on the back, and wings ejected out of them. With these wings, the men and women created by Takagumo could glide and sail the skies, but they could not fly completely. They became the Hawk Ninja Clan, fierce hunters of the sky. Their mission from Takagumo was to never suffer defeat, and battle on through sickness, injury, and even in death.
