Unlike dream books nightmare books can produce some grizly and misunderstood creatures. Because of their former owner betraying them they are much harder to care for and, at least at the beginning cannot stray far from the land of nightmares which they call home.
The journal may be in any format you wish to keep it in though it is advised to keep it neat so that anyone who wishes to RP with your characters can do so easily by looking up your characters information.
