Yuki had been traveling for many months, searching for the one he devoted his life to, Sin. The fox he was related to through fathers. The fox that had rescued him when he was bit by a snake. The fox that had spared him his life and gave him a reason to live. They had been separated due to a storm, and he had been lost ever since. Sin was his brother, his family.
Somehow, he had followed the scent of blood and decay to a pond. The Cruor called it the Celebrations Pond, but to him it was simply a pond where he spotted prey and the only light he had seen within the forest in days. He had heard of the Cruor, rumors actually. The word was that a black fox with blood splattered fur ran the tribe, followed by several rather disturbed foxes. It could be Sin, he wanted it to be him. He had been searching so long, so very long.
He sat beside the pond, lowering his body down. His body ached form the harsh travel, fur matted with dirt and blood from thorn wounds. He would bathe after he rested.

Ixen walked out into the clearing area by Celebrations pond hoping to find some prey to bring back. New foxes that Sin would probably have join the tribe. A good large fest was in order. At least that had been Ixen's plan until he saw the gray and purple fox by the pond.
Seeing that the fox was tired and probably not likely to attack without at least some provocation Ixen cautiously approached. Hello there. And just who might you be? Ixen kept out of range of any close attacks just in case he had misjudged the fox he saw before him. You know you really shouldn't be here. This is Cruor tribal land. Ixen didn't really want to kill a fox just for getting lost, but if this fox was a threat then he would have no choice. Killing him would be what Sin expected. Threats to the tribe weren't tolerated well.

Yuki raised his head slowly as he heard footsteps, tensing, just like he had been taught to. He raised his head defiantly, even though all he wanted was to curl up and sleep. The other fox was bright red, black, and had white markings. Not Sin. He could care less right now for the other. Yuki held his posture, having been taught by Sin to hold yourself strong.
"Cruor? I'm looking for someone, I'm just passing through. My name is Yuki." He lowered his head, to weary to keep it up. The other smelled like the lands, blood and decay, most likely having rubbed off on him from staying here.

Ixen looked the fox over and realized how exhausted the poor fox was. In his current condition he was no threat to the tribe. If anything he was in danger from the Tribe, and the snakes, and anything else that could hurt a kitten. Ixen's heart went out to the fox and it was all he could do not to go over and start trying to comfort him.
Well Yuki, unless you are looking for a member of the Cruor tribe you are wasting your time. My father doesn't tolerate strange foxes wandering through his land. There is a very good chance that you would be forced to join the tribe or be killed if you refused, if he knew you were here that is. Walking to the edge of the lake just out of Yuki's reach Ixen picked up a rock that had something of a shallow impression on it. Dipping it in the lake Ixen drew out some water and placed the makeshift bowel within Yuki's reach. No need to let the fox die of dehydration after all. Ixen watched Yuki carefully to see if he was injured in any way.

(It's Cruor. -giggles- It's a hard name to spell, I did it wrong at first))
Yuki gratefully lapped the water up, sighing contently. He knew of the rumors, chuckling under his breath. If Sin had been with him, well he would have been safe. No one could push him around when Sin was there. And now... he was alone, drinking water from a strange fox and inside a dangerous land. The days were tiring now, he just wanted it to end. He wanted to be with him again, with his only family he could ever trust. He was... lonely.
"I don't care about death. I can't join a tribe he isn't in. I have to be with him. But death is worth it. For all I know, Sin is dead as well." He was speaking to himself now, a habit he had developed out of being alone. Sin had made him forget no one else would ever care for him. He had made it better.

(*facesmack* sorry I keep spelling it wrong in my head so it comes out wrong. I shall go back and edit my posts.)
Ixen make a small choking noise in his throat. YOU KNOW SIN?!! Ixen hadn't meant to yell, but it came out wrong with the surprise that the gray fox could actually know his father. Ixen had never met anyone who had known Sin before the tribe was created. If this fox was a friend of Sin's then it was important to take care of him.
Ixen moved closer to Yuki slowly so as not to provoke an aggressive response and then wadded into the lake so that Ixen was in the lake facing Yuki. From this spot Ixen looked at Yuki Don't be alarmed. I am going to help wash off some of the grime from your travels if you'll let me. While I'm doing so you can tell me about fath... Sin. And how you know him.

Yuki's ears flicked, jerking his head to the side at the males yell. He merely gave him an annoyed frown, however realized how the other seemed to respond to Sin's name. He had his interest now. He looked reproachful of the offer to be washed, not enjoying the idea of someone else bathing him, but he was weak. He was tired and so weak right now. He would accept the help he could get.
He nodded, agreeing to speaking of Sin. Sin was a easy topic, he had many stories of their travels together, some that would make others question the mentally unstable fox. Sin was not entirely evil, far from it. Yuki understood where he came from. He wanted a family. He wanted only a family though, he didn't want other to interfere. So in Sin's mind, removing what interfered was protecting the others. His ways were seen as wrong by many, but Yuki understood Sin's strange desire.
"Do you know Sin?" He questioned eagerly, sitting up and wincing as his leg ached from the movement. Was he closer to him? "Where is he?"

Very gently Ixen began to wash Yuki. Taking careful note of Yuki's face and eagerness Ixen tried to calm down Yuki as much as he could so the the male didn't end up hurting himself. Yes I know Sin, quite well actually. Now settle down and lets get you cleaned up. Sin lives around here and isn't going to be leaving anytime soon so you can relax a bit. You look like a mess right now. You know that? Ixen tries hard not to laugh. If only his father could see him talking to this strange fox in such a manner as he was now, what would Sin think? So how do you know Sin?

Yuki was nearly about to jump over the other and dart off screaming Sin's name. He was here! His brother! Sin! 'Oh damn it all, finish cleaning me and let me see him!' His mind pleaded, but he sat still, face eagerly watching the other as his tail wagged much like a tamed dog. His best friend, his family, oh my god this was to much for his brain.
At the mention of how he knew Sin, the male glanced at the other, thinking the same question to him. How did he know him? Sin wasn't a very social fox. "He's my half brother, and saved me from a snake wound when I was little. My family hated me, and his hated him, so we bonded. He protected me from many dangers, and we lived together for a long time. I grew up beside him. I was a kit when he found me, so naturally I care very much about him. We were... split apart due to a storm, and I've been looking for him ever since." He didn't mention that Sin had murdered his miserable excuse of parents, or that Sin was hunting down his siblings and his own siblings as well. There family was broken, Sin wanted to exterminate it.
"He could have killed me, but he didn't. I'd do anything for him, he risked his life for me many times. I just want to see him. Where is he? How do you know him? Why is he here?" The questions were piling, and his heart lurched inside his chest. Had Sin forgotten him? Had he left Yuki? Had he never searched for him as Yuki did for him?
Did Sin not need him anymore?

Sin had never mentioned Yuki or any other family member to Ixen before. Ixen felt hurt by this. He had always assumed Sin was alone because his father never spoke of family. Yet here was fox claiming to be Sin’s brother and Ixen believed him! There was no malice or deviousness in Yuki’s tone. Anyone could see that the gray male was telling the truth. Why had Sin never mentioned Yuki, did he not trust Ixen?
Ixen had finished cleaning off Yuki as best as he could with Yuki still in a laying position. There now you don’t look like a used mop. Ixen moved around a spot the rock bowel was by Yuki on dry land. So this was Sin’s brother. half-brother. So Yuki was his half-uncle by Sin’s adoption of Ixen wasn’t he? For some reason that he couldn’t possibly fathom Ixen felt a little bit upset by this. He didn’t betray any of what he was thinking on his face or in his movements however, that would be something that Ixen kept to himself until he could understand it better.
Well, since you have so many questions will you let me answer them in any order? Ixen smiled calmly and reassuringly to Yuki trying to stem what looked to be panic in the other foxes eyes. Sin is quite close by. The reason he is here is because he is building a tribe. You have heard of the Cruor tribe haven’t you? Ixen fixed Yuki with an intense stare watching closely to see how Yuki would respond to his next words. Sin is the leader of the Cruor tribe, more than that he is my adoptive father. After quite some time of traveling, Sin settled down in this area. He found me as a kit and raised me. Yuki had said he would do anything for Sin. Did that mean he would get rid of anyone who could compete with him for Sin’s attention? Looking at Yuki a little longer Ixen didn’t think Yuki looked like a killer. If anything there seemed to be pain in his eyes. Unable to stop his own nature Ixen leaned in toward Yuki and gave him a caring lick on the cheek. I think Sin will be glad you came here Yuki. Ixen then straightened up to a sitting position and looked over the lake and not at all at Yuki. Ixen’s mind was racing. Why had he said and done that? Ixen never knew what Sin was thinking, much less feeling, and licking Yuki…. Well they were family so Ixen supposed it was alright, but still comforting some random fox? Ixen knew he had a soft spot for kits like Sin but Yuki was no kit! Ixen risked a look at Yuki but quickly went back to looking over the lake embarrassed.

Yuki would indeed do anything for Sin, and he would have killed on command if it so called for it. He had tried to protect his protector several times in their past adventures, and yet Sin had always shoved him roughly to the side and ordered him to stay out of his way. The idea of killing the other fox for stealing his Sin's attention, it had not fleeted across his mind, and would not unless someone put it there.
Sin... had a tribe? Yet, this fox had said he had been traveling. Some part of him hoped Sin had been looking for him, yet he could easily have forgotten Yuki. It didn't matter, he was here, he didn't care. He still cared for Sin, he wanted to be with him again.
This had to be the same Sin he knew. Than again, this fox had been raised by Sin as well? Did that make him younger than him? It did, it had to. He had been an adult when Sin was separated from him. Was he Yuki's replacement.
Yuki tensed considerably when the fox came forward, prepared to attack. He had met hostile foxes before, something that came with traveling. His ears pulled against his head, and his body twitched when a tongue brushed across his cheek. The grey and purple fox looked bewildered, eyes widening in alarm at the other. They narrowed once more, distrust rushing through them once more. Was that some trick? What was that? And why did it calm his once frantic mind?
"He raised you? Then... please take me to him!" His stomach rumbled at the same time, and the fox groaned. Stupid stomach! Shut up and behave so he could see Sin!

Ixen tried not to laugh at Yuki. He looked so surprised and then suspicious when Ixen had licked him, it was cute Ixen thought. Wait cute? Ixen had to stop and think that last thought over. He had never thought of another fox as being cute this way before. It was odd. Before he could figure it out though he heard Yuki’s stomach rumble. Yes Sin did raise me. No I will not take him to you just yet. I may have cleaned you up but it seems like you’re half starved along with having taken most of the road with you in your coat. Ixen winked at Yuki at the end of this joke trying to lighten up the mood. He didn’t want the older fox thinking that he was trying to torture him by not taking Yuki to see his brother. It was just that Ixen didn’t think Yuki was up to it just yet. Yuki looked weak. Had it just been Sin at the base then Ixen may have considered taking Yuki there, but it wasn’t just Sin. There was Odi and then the two other foxes that had shown up when Ixen left. Odi seemed ok but Ixen didn’t know the others. Even though one was a kit that didn’t mean she was safe to leave a weaken fox around. Wait here a moment.
Ixen trotted off to one of the berry bushes nearby the lake. Placing his tail around to his side he used it like a cup to carry a large amount of berries. Using his mind he called a rabbit to him. Not really enjoying what he knew he had to do next Ixen calmed the rabbit so that it felt like it was in bliss. Using his paw he pressed down hard and fast on the rabbit’s skull and neck, killing it quickly and painlessly. With slow and careful movements Ixen walked back to Yuki’s side carring the rabbit in his mouth and the berries at his side. ‘ere oou gu. Ixen placed the rabbit down by Yuki then carefully sets down his load of berries.

((Your avatar is so cute, Reo! I've never rped Yuki before, and he just keeps coming out sounding like a kit more and more. Ahhh.))
Yuki pouted at this, ears folding backwards. The male eyed the other, whining softly under his breath when his question had been rejected. Fine, he would tolerate this nonsense. Then again, he was grateful. Yuki always was tired, and for the past seasons had to make many stops to calm his weary body. His paws were practically raw, but it was his devotion and loneliness that had driven him on.
When the red fox padded off, Yuki frowned. Why was he being so kind to him? This place, it smelled much like Sin. Death and decay. Yet, that didn't mean the other fox couldn't be kind. Sin was, despite how he smelled. His purple eyes closed blissfully, enjoying the seconds to relax. The second he smelt food though, and berries and a rabbit was set down, humiliation sunk in. He couldn't even fend for himself! He stood, approaching the mass and lowering his head, still eyeing the other suspiciously.
"T-thank you. This wasn't necessary." His stutter flustered the fox, but he hungrily devoured the meal, starving and beyond caring at this point.

(Thank you. Also that’s fine since Ixen in a carer and naturally protective of kits, or foxes with kit like attitudes apparently. Besides its understandable that Yuki would be immature in some aspects mentally since his past is so…. How do I say F$^&ed up without being mean? )
You are welcome, but you’re also wrong. It was necessary at least to me it was. Ixen relaxed when he saw Yuki eating. At least Yuki trusted him enough not to be paranoid about poisons; perhaps Yuki was just too hungry to care. It didn’t matter so long as he ate to regain some strength. Looking at Yuki out of the corner of his eye so as not to be noticed Ixen was shocked at the state of Yuki’s paws. How had he not noticed that while he was washing the fox earlier? I’ll be back in a moment. Ixen said this but didn’t really think Yuki was listening based on how Yuki was wolfing down his food.
After walking aways away from Yuki Ixen, using his mind gifts, called out another three rabbits. This was much more difficult for Ixen who had only ever used one before. Rather than using the rabbits solely for food Ixen gave them a task first. By using the rabbits Ixen was able to locate some Arnica, Calendula, Motherwort, and Feverfew. After this was done Ixen released one of the rabbits. He was hungry and having an extra rabbit for Yuki wouldn’t be a bad idea. Crushing the Arnica and Calendula flower petals together Ixen made something of a paste. It smelled good and looked like an orange crust that had been beaten to a pulp. Dispatching the two rabbits in a merciful manner Ixen put them over his back. Wrapping the paste up in a leaf bundle Ixen carried it and the Feverfew and Motherwort back to the lake where Yuki was.
Setting down his leaf bundle and opening it up, he then proceeded to drop one of the rabbits in front of Yuki and set the other aside for himself. When you finish eating, place the orange paste stuff on your cuts and bruises. It’ll help with those, especially on the pads of you paws. That purple flowered plant there. Ixen pointed to the motherwort. That’s a mild sedative and will help deal with pain. Eat the leaves. Ixen had considered lacing Yuki’s rabbit with some motherwort but that just seemed cruel to do. And this is for me. Ixen picked up the feverfew and started chewing on the leaves to relieve the migraine he knew he would be getting shortly for his mental powers on three rabbits when he was barely getting used to dealing with one.

((Poor Yuki. I seem to enjoy causing trauma in my foxes lives. ))
Yuki glanced upward with food still in his mouth, going back to wolfing down his food, ears slowly raising and leaving their defensive position. His eyes stayed focused on the other, if the food was poisoned he had no care, right now he would rather die full than die with a empty stomach. He tilted his head when the other ran off, gulping up the last of the rabbit before sitting down on his haunches.
When the other returned, Yuki eyed him with interest. He frowned when he spotted several odd looking objects the other held. What was that? He was so not eating that orange stuff! He pouted once more, until the other spoke, relaxing. He glanced down at his paws, noticing their state. He had worse before, but it seemed best to please the helpful fox if he wished to see Sin.
The other was being unnaturally kind to him, especially since Yuki was a strange among these lands. The grey and purple fox approached the items cautiously, scooping the orange muck with one paw and rubbing it over each paw. But he didn't touch the sedative, instead sitting before it, sniffing it, and grimacing. Ew.
"Why are you helping me?"
